the hotel has a great view of the train station. very comfortable room but the smell was very bad. i could smell the toilet from adjacent room, it was not pleasant. but very handy to get to train station if you have an early train.

The key point about this hotel is its location - just in front of the railway station. This made it very convenient for my plans. At the same time this location is in the very centre of the downtown and is in a walking distance to everything of interest in Toulon. I chose this hotel because it was very handy for the SNCF station and reviews I had read were positive. The hotel had apparently been refurbished and the room we were given was of a reasonable size and clean. Carpets in the corridors were grubby, however, and there was a rather stale smell around the place. Our room was next to the lift and very noisy […] throughout the night. It was a pity that no review I read before I made my reservation had mentioned that the hotel was next door to the SexShopClub which was brightly lit and advertised its services prominently. As we arrived in Toulon late evening by train, the Grand Hotel de la Gare could not have been more conveniently placed being directly opposite the station. Despite the time, our welcome was warm and friendly, and we were quickly in our room which was perfect for our requirements. The hotel scored again upon check-out the next morning as they very helpfully […] offered to hold our luggage for us, which enabled us to have a great day exploring old Toulon, its vibrant market, and its excellent waterfront restaurants. Close to centre. Quieter than I thought it would be. Room small but quite agreeable. Pleasant staff. Plenty of choice of bars, restaurants.

This hotel is right by the main railway station in Toulon - very convenient. The car rental place is also right across the road, by the station. Its a nice area - but can get a bit busy because of the station. This worked out great for us.

De service was erg goed en het hotel zag er netjes en verzorgd uit.

La chambre offrait espace, confort, propreté... On se sentait serein à l'idée de retrouver sa chambre, et il me semble que c'est le principal. Le personnel est très agréable et à votre écoute. Vraiment une très bonne impression. Cependant, l'accès à internet est défaillant, et l'hôtel ne dispose pas d'un parking privé pour les voyageurs motorisés comme […] je l'étais pendant mes vacances. Accueil agréable et serviable Bruyant au petit matin car contre la gare ...mais n'est-ce pas ce que nous recherchions (le fait d'être à coté de la gare et non le bruit !)

Ett helt ok tvåstjärnigt hotell. Rent och fräscht. Ganska små rum, men de funkar. Hotellets frukost är bra och har det mesta en svensk i allmänhet vill ha: kaffe, the,bröd, pålägg, musli, yoghurt, samt croissanter och frukt.

A 20m de la gare SNCF: il n'y a pas plus proche. Bonne isolation phonique, climatisation, chambre petite, mais ce n'est qu'un 2 étoiles. Petit déjeuner continental OK, si vous préférez, il y a plein de cafés à coté.

Hôtel de qualité, service idem, personnel très gentil.

rapport qualité prix très correct et parfait pour prendre le train

l'Hôtel est très bien situé à deux pas de la gare SNCF, et des bus. L'hôtel est très propre, le service à la reception impécable, le confort des chambres est très bien, côté agencement, c'est identique à la photo. Rien à redire sur cet hôtel, à reserver sans hésiter surtout sur Toulon, où l'on peut vite être déçu.

Je suis non fumeur et j'ai eu la désagréable surprise de constater à mon arrivée que l'on m'avait octroyé une chambre fumeur. Cette odeur nauséabonde a gâche mon séjour. Il n'a pas été possible d'avoir une autre chambre faute de place et je n'ai pas réussi a avoir une bombe désodorisante. Cet hôtel est parfait si l'on veut être à proximité de la gare ou du port. Il a un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Chambre simple, mais confortable, avec climatisation (un peu bruyante). Accueil sympatique et petit déjeuner copieux dans une salle agréable.

Meget hyggelig hotell til å kun ha 2 stjerner. Både tog og buss gikk rett utenfor. Aircon i bussen & den gikk hvert 10 min. ned til sentrum & stranda. Så sånn sett meget sentralt. Parkering i parkeringshus rett ved.

Hôtel situé juste en face de la gare, facile à trouver, situation géographique très pratique. Accueil très sympathique. Chambre plutôt propre, sans fioritures mais tout à fait correcte. Un bon rapport qualité prix.

Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre Confort+ pour une nuit. Chambre assez spacieuse, propre. Hôtel bien situé. À recommander.

l'hôtel est situé en plein centre ville, juste en face de la gare; bien que n'ayant pas de parking privé, nous avons pu stationner près de l'hôtel sans trop de difficulté. la réception est ouvert 24/24.
