staff was friendly, service was very good only thing i didnt like was hot tub wasnt hot

The carpet was clean which means alot having 3 small children in room. The pool was beautiful and clean. Hot tub was hot and relaxing!!!!!!! I enjoyed it and would go back! Nice place to get away doesnt matter where too!

I only stayed one night on my way to Colorado but the room was very clean and neat. I arrived very late (after midnight) and the motel clerk was very nice and helpful in getting me situated. The next day after I left I remembered that I had left an important item in my room. I called to say I was coming back to get it (1 hour trip) and they had it waiting […] for me when I drove up. was a little disappointed that pool was being redone- had to use pool pass to go to sister property for pool services.

We stayed one night while passing through on our way to the Grand Canyon. Staff was friendly and accommodating of our late check in time (after 10pm). I always worry that our room will be given away! The room was comfortable for a one night stay. Hotel is old but kept clean. The staff was not very helpful. The internet did not work and the staff had no clue as to the problem. An FYI if in Needles, drive the 7 miles over the state line to Arizona, gas is over $1 a gallon cheaper.

we found the hotel was very nice,and convienent to find the rooms were clean ,& comfortable.the staff very friendly.Not the best Neighbourhood,but it is a small town.We would definately stay there again,& would recommend to friends.

Nice room and amenities, although more or less in line with what you'd expect for the standard rate. However we got a very good deal by booking through the internet, and so were extra delighted with how nice the rooms were. Clean, large room with good bed, microwave, frig & WiFi. We found this motel to be among our top rated motels in our 20 years of traveling. Barb in the office was friendly and helpful. Also she called us to tell us we had left a pair of woman's shoes in the room we occupied, and she would hold them until our relative, in town, could pick them up. The room was spotless and the maids tidied our room each day […] and replenished any paper products etc. needed. The companion restaurant was close and excellent. There are other restaurants and a grocery close too. It is a short drive to larger cities with shopping, entertainment, water sports and other outdoor activities. Stayed at this hotel on a visit to the Mojave Desert. The facility is very nice--not luxurous, but very clean, very comfortable and quiet. talk about bang for you buck. I recently stood at the Howard Johnsons 2 months ago for about twice the rate. Honestly, there is no difference!!! The RDS Inn is incredible. VERY Clean rooms!!! I mean VERY nice. Had Great Customer Service at front desk. Matter of Fact, Im staying there again this coming week.

This proved to be a great place for a stopover on our way from LA to the Grand Canyon. Friendly folks. A clean room, a good night's sleep. A great partner restaurant for breakfast.

Spent the night on the road back to SoCal. I found the place to be quiet, clean and comfortable. An excellent bargain for the price. The girl at check-in was friendly and efficient. She even recommended a place for breakfast around the corner that served, hands down, the best breakfast I had on my trip(Juicy's.) We needed a place to spend the night to break up a long drive. This is a nice enough motel. We got a room on the bottom floor, parked in front of the door, AC was nice and strong, the pool was open and available, WiFi was good. Pretty clean, crappy towels that barely dried, but that's minor. Bunch of places to eat nearby, mostly fast food, but fine […] for our purposes. 더 보기

This hotel was exactly as I had hoped for - clean with large rooms and nice touches. I think the only area for improvement is the pillows (they felt like chunks of foam - very lumpy). They looked brand new, so more an issue of type and quality of pillow.

We went to meet friend's in Needel's who were staying at The Palm's Resort, a short drive away. We were pleasently surprised the room was very clean and nice! Even had a small refrigerater to keep our things cold. Priced right for any budget. I would recommened this hotel to a friend.

In the middle of the desert.....103 degrees and the pool was closed and the spa was drained. We did not have any notice that this was the case....if so...we would have stayed in a different hotel.

We passed through Needles staying at the Rio Del Sol for one night. This hotel was nicer than we expected, the rooms are large and very clean. The staff was extremely friendly, even called us in our room after we checked in to make sure our everything was satisfactory. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. The location of the hotel was very close to services that a traveler would need such as restaurants and service stations. We will stay at the hotel when we are in that area.

Independent, friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Good pool and hot tub, great after a long journey in the car. Really enjoyed our overnight, so much better than some!

I stayed in Room 108, which was newly painted (still had that 'new paint smell') and very clean...and completely smoke-free. That was a refreshing change from other hotels I've stayed at in Needles. We were pleasantly surprised by the motel. The room as large, clean and updated, And the girl at the front desk gave us a good steer for dinner at Juicies.

Even though the hotel parking lot was full of vehicles, the rooms were well insulated for sound. The bed was very comfortable. Easy check in and out. Close to food and gas. Great for the person traveling east on I-40.

This inn was a good value. Although it is nothing fancy, the rooms were clean, comfortable and the staff were pleasant. If you are sensitive to noise, be advised that a busy train track runs 200 yards from the West end of the hotel. We asked for a quiet room and had no problems during two nights in our second floor room in the center of the hotel.

Super friendly staff. The hotel was OK, not super nice, but it was clean and OK. We asked for the quietest room and they put us in the middle of the building, it was pretty quiet. The train nearby could be heard, but it did not keep us awake or anything.

My husband and I decided to give this place a try and we are glad we did, we would stay there again inh the future. It was very clean and comfortable with friendly, pleasant staff.

Rio Del Sol was much better than we expected. The service was fabulous, and the rooms were really clean and cozy. As we were there for 1 night we didn't see much of Needles, however the lady in reception recommended a nice local restaurant where we ate a lovely meal. Internet was good in the rooms and coffee being free was a major perk after hours of […] driving. Would definately stay again. Be prepared for the heat though, 41 degrees!! The Rio Del Sol fit our needs perfectly. Convenient location, the room was comfortable and clean, the pool was nice and warm, we grabbed some fast food, enjoyed the air conditioning, spent the night and were on our way!

We knew that this would be a challenging journey from San Diego to the Grand Canyon. Hotel del Sol provided an excellent stopover. Clean, fresh, and welcoming atmosphere. We stayed two nights. Got up at 0530 to enjoy a sunrise tour of Topock Gorge with Capt Doyle/Capt Jamie boats followed by a delicious breakfast at the Topock Gorge Marina - the best […] we had in that area. From here we were able to travel on the old Route 66 to Oldman - a worthwhile experience. We then swam in the Colorado river from the beaches near Topock, recommended by Capt Jamie - a truly magical experience. The Wagon Wheel and Juicy's, both within a short walk of the hotel, provided very good food. 더 보기
