We stayed for 3 nights recently and were very happy with our room and the staff were helpful and friendly. Location is walking distance to everything. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Very good.

CONS: The vent in the room was dirty. Internet was 10 Euros but many surrounding restaurants had free WiFi. PROS: The location was great but the street was correctly labeled from the intersection with the main street. The red hotel sign helped us to spot it from the intersection. The De Flore Hotel is perfectly positioned for a economy Hotel in Nice. Close to everything and yet reasonably priced. We could get to everything we wanted to in 5mins.

The room and hotel was very clean, although a bit dated in some areas. There was some mold on the ceiling in the entry area in our room. The location was excellent for the price, and was just a few blocks away from the beaches. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. A quite good three star. Close to everything, shopping, beach and restaurants. Interior walls are very thin so you have to enjoy your neighbours living as well. Small rooms like most French hotels.

Excellent reception, comfortable beds, clean linen, excellent position next to pedestrian area and asssortment of shops. Parking is available one block down the street. The breakfast was a fairly average continental breakfast. The hotel room walls were on the thin side.

The Hotel De Flore was a great find for our short stay in Nice. Great location on a short small street. All of the restaurants are around the corner and the beach is a 3 minute walk past shops and cafes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, Saulois (pronounced Sal-u-wah) is amazing. If you like a baguette and croissants then you are good to go. The room we had was the best of the hotel #214, two bathrooms, balcony and plenty of room to stretch out after a long day of sightseeing. A small Sea view and large bed completed our 5 night stay. Just below the Hotel is a fresh market where we picked up water, cheese and pate for a light snack and other essentials for an affordable vacation in Nice. Pros: Clean, comfortable, cosy, located right in the center, breakfast included, nice staff! Cons: Might be a little noisy at night & internet is not free, rooms are pretty small. Quite frankly, I expected much less of this hotel and was nicely surprised! The room was clean and cosy,nice staff,and great location. Will stay there again!

The hotel was reasonable in its rate, location was very convenient, to all restaurants, beach and other stores. The hotel buffet breakfast need to add more hot food items, plus some cutleries (Forks) which were not available to customers. The elevator was very very slow. The staff was very helpful.

We stay in hotel 2 days,very satisfied with location,very convenient:a few stores around to buy food or restourants for dining and also close to most intresting place to see in Nice.Our room was small, but clean and is o'k to stay a few days-hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

In the best location possible. On busy street. Grocery store downstairs, many restaurants, and a walking street full of coffee shops and places to shop around the corner. Beach is 1 block away. Hotel lobby is nice, hallways and rooms not so much (according to American standards). Room has a funny layout, is very small. Barely room to have the bed. Cheap […] furniture, not the nicest place. If you are all about location, and are not looking to spend a lot of extra money, this is the place. Tourist office closeby as well. If going on day trip to Monaco, must wear pants at night. nice location and everything what one expects from a three star hotel. breakfast was a bit limited in choices, but will satisfy anyone who is not so picky.

Ugly hotel, rooms are too small, you can never get on elevator- it takes forever. Only breakfast area is nice.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years as the location is good and parking across the street. This time however, the girl at the front desk was extremely rude and when we arrived with our daughter and her husband, we complained about the room and she said that was all they had. When we all went down to go to dinner, and gave our key, […] she made a remark to another worker that I was the one complaining and they both laughed. Not very professional at all. We found the hotel looking quite worn, especially the room we had. The carpet was stained and dirty and the room was very small and our kids had an even worse room. We were actaully embarrassed that we were staying there with them. We returned a few weeks later on our way back to the states with another daughter and we had a room for three, that did not have another bed in it and unfortunately the same rude girl was there and she said that she would be up with a roll away bed later....I think after staying there for five years....we will look for something different next year. They do have a good location and breakfast is not bad...just needs some updating, new bedding and people that understand the meaning of hospitality and service. This gal didn't have a clue. 더 보기

This is not the hotel to book your romantic getaway!!!Though it is very conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and the beach, rooms are small and can be smelly. Bathrooms need some major improvement. There is in-room safe but it is not free. It will cost you 4 EUR per day plus you will have to carry safe key around with you. Not worth it. Free […] 30 min internet per day included. Super noisy! You can hear everything that is going on behind your room walls. The only elevator in the hotel is horrible!! We had to use stairs most of the time. Overrall for the price it is probably as good as it can get for 3 star hotel in Nice. Will not book it again. 더 보기

I recommend the hotel to the people who want to be in the closest distance to the beach and the restaurant zone, at the same time.

Hotel de Flore is nicely located one-half block from rue Massena, which is loaded w/ mostly "touristy" restaurants but also offers a couple of excellent choices; many other restaurants nearby on connecting streets. It's a slow, 10-minute stroll from the Mediterranean and "promenade des Anglais," and a 15-20 minute walk from Old Nice by way of Place […] Messena at the east end of rue Massena. Hotel is a 15-20 minute walk (seriously) from the Gare SNCF train station, and a 10-15 minute walk (really, 15 minutes max) from the main bus station (across from Old Nice). (Tip: don't use the toilets at the bus station.) You can take public buses up & down the Riviera for a nominal charge each way regardless of distance if you're not in a hurry (e.g., bus #100 to Monte Carlo takes about 45-minutes along the coast road, or bus #200 to Antibes, the opposite direction, takes 45-60 minutes. Trains are quicker, but cost more & you miss all the locals). Our room was clean, comfortable & adequate by European standards, but not plush, and suited our purposes very well for a 4-night stay to experience the city & surrounding area at a reasonable price. Breakfast, standard European fare w/ occasional extras such as hard-boiled eggs, is served in a pleasant breakfast room w/ access to outdoor tables if desired, and was a bit pricey but you can have a much coffee as you want! All in all, we enjoyed this hotel for its location & services, and staff were friendly & helpful. We recommend it. 더 보기

Very friendly and helpful staff. No frills hotel but serves its purpose in location close to sea and city centre facilities and clean well turned out rooms. This little hotel is very well located, good english speaking staff and a wonderful little garden an also a room to sit in inside. Good breakfast - as scandinavs we do though miss the full grain bread and musli without suger... everything else very good. I was given a room on the second floor. It was dark, uncomfortable and the beds and pillow stank of smoke - despite it being a no smoking room. The bathroom was outdated and very 2 star compared with many other small hotels I have stayed in. Normally the ratings you get from tripadvisor or similar are pretty accurate and this was well rated. The loocation of the hotel is perfect for the getting around the busier parts of Nice and only a couple of blocks from the sea front. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was basic but plentiful and well presented and we ate ours in the little courtyard outside which was lovely! The rooms were more than adequate for our needs. We got the room for 3 people so they had " tried" to fit a single bed in the room but what a mistake !! We could barely move! Let aside walking around the room. There was also one receptionist which was really rude and unhelpfull but then again most hotels in Europe have one! Nice clean hotel, great location, friendly and helpful staff.

We have stayed at this hotel four or five times. It has a great location, close to everything. It is not a fancy hotel, but for the most part clean and has a good breakfast. It is one of the few hotels that has breakfast in the area. The rooms are small and could use a little updating and new mattresses, but is a typical hotel in this area. We like […] that we know where it is, and where to park and location is great. If you arrive early you can get one of the larger rooms and if possible one off of the main street, so is quieter. The staff has always been helpful and we go to Nice every year and say that we are going to try another hotel sometime, but always end up staying here for the convenience. Min kone og jeg hadde et koselig og avslappet 5 dagers opphold i NICE i april 2012. Hotel de Flore har en sentral og fin beliggenhet i forhold til strandpromenaden, gamlebyen, restauranter, shopping og kommunikasjoner. Vennlig og serviceinnstilt betjening. Et OK "home away from home" for kortere opphold.

Beliggenheden er perfekt men betyder også at der er støj døgnet rundt, da værelset er dårligt lydisoleret. Det er både støj fra gaden, ligesom alle lyde fra naboværelserne kan høres. Men ellers fin standard.

Hotel très bien situé pour faire du shopping et des sorties à Nice. Cloisons un peu légères, on partage la vie de nos voisins...
