The staff were extremely friendly and great to deal with. Location is easy to access and near downtown and food locations. The hotel room needs some serious decor updates, including new paint. If you don't mind pale pink tint wall color like your grandma's house and furnishing to match, then you will love it. Could use a little more maintance and up keep

This was the perfect place to stay for fisherman planning to go on the Port Clinton Headboats. All the facilities were in as promissed. The property is very well maintained. Upon regestering you are given a list of restaurants that offer discounts. I could not ask for more.

We stayed in a suite for a conference, it was very nice. Then had a second room for an additional night. Both rooms were very nice. The hotel was clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat. We will be back!

The room wasn't terribly big, but large enough. The beds were firm which I appreciated, but my brother felt they were too firm. It's not a newer hotel, but it's kept in good, clean condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all I was very pleased with our accommodations and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel was less than standard, needs updated, however for the price and location to downtown Port Clinton it was worth the stay.

The best thing I ever did,, was hook up with our guest inn downtown Port clinton, All the people there treated me in the best way i have ever been treated in any hotel. Lynn the manager, and staff were wonderful, and went out of their way to acconadate me when I decided to stay about two weeks instead on 3 nights,!!!! We had simple needs for a weekend with friends in this area. The hotel is older but well maintained. Room was clean as well as bathroom areas. We were surprised to find a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave in the room. Price was well below others and we felt a very good bargain. We will stay here again. Comfortable, quite and clean. It worked out great for 4 guys staying the night to fish early in the morning! We had the bigger room with two queens and a fold out queen. Our charter boat was parked at the draw bridge just a few minutes away.

This hotel was great for a night after a day spent in Put-In-Bay. It was only about a 5 minute walk from the Jet Express, which was wonderful, and the room was very clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The entire stay (though brief) was very nice.

I was satisfied with this hotal. The lobby was a little outdated and the room a bit small for the two queen beds it held but the room was very clean and the bathroom was newly renovated. Not the most posh in town but truly a bargain for the money.

We were placed in a smoking room and had asked for a non-smoking room. I spoke with the front desk and they were very pleasent. For our inconvenience they put us in a room with a fire place and jacuzzi. It was wonderful and we could not have asked for more. They have an outside front area to sit in the evening and watch the Jet Express arrive and leave. […] Just two blocks from the popcorn factory and fish market. I like a firm bed but the beds were very HARD

We stayed here after our visit to the Islands. Easy to get to. It was nice. Grandkids and us really enjoyed the swimming pool. We would stay here again.

i really value hotels.com reviews. i searched and searched threw many reviews while i was looking for a place near cedar point. i finally decided on our guests in port clinton. the little town is very cute, quiet for late August , and only about 20 miles from sandusky. the hotel is in walking distance to a nice beach of lake erie, and the little town. […] pool was nice, very warm. the lobby was so cute! no breakfast, but close to places to eat a quick breakfast. it seemed more like a little bed and breakfast, of course, without the breakfast though. it was nice. i will certainly go back. 더 보기

the hotel staff were co-ordial and the rooms were very clean. the only problem was we had booked for the 4 of us and they had left us 3 towel sets. Which was ok.... coz we had an extra towel with us. But since we had reached near midnight I wasnt going to make them go through the trouble. Bathrooms were very clean. We were in town for a fishing charter out of Marblehead. Very quaint hotel, with plenty of space. Nice sitting area in the room. Good location to get to Marblehead, the islands, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk to the local stores restruants and the ferry. Our room had a hot tub very resonably priced. We really enjoyed it. They did not have a computer with internet access for public use. They did have WiFi but we did not have a laptop.

this was a very poor hotel. Room smelt moldy and wasnt very clean. Would not stay there again

Just not a very good hotel, very old carpet, room was cramped and the pillows on the bed so old they were out of shape. Just didn't feel clean.

My family of 5 stayed at this hotel at the main location on Perry Street. We needed a double with queen beds and a sofabed for our 16yr old son. We got a very good price for the room with a 25% discount for early booking. We were very pleased with most everything. Especially the air conditioning!--it worked awesome and even the hallways were cool. The […] furniture is quite dated, but it goes along with the "victorian" feel to the hotel itself. If you are looking for a very firm bed then this is your place! My husband loved the bed, I did not, because I need a soft bed or my back cramps up in the morning. The room was a little small for the two queens but if they got rid of the chest that holds the tv and put a flat screen tv on the wall, that problem would be solved. Only a few disappointments: there was no Iron or ironing board as it said online and it said "kitchenette with fridge and microwave" but there was no sink other than the one near the bathroom. The hotel was all right...nothing to right home about but it served our purpose. The staff was VERY nice. The room itself, though, was not as clean as I would like. For example, I needed to move the nighstand in order to look for something my child dropped. When I did, it saw A LOT of dust and dirt behind it as well as under the bed. The room was very neat and clean.I would definately book a room again. The only minus I would give is the room was suppose to be non smoking room but it still had the smell of smoke in it.

It's great for staying on the main land to go over to the island of Put N Bay.

The issues with our stay included no light bulbs to 2 lamps in front sitting room. We had a Jacuzzi room with fireplace. Very cute room but found ants by the fridge and crawling up the side of the jacuzzi. We did not have any food in the room prior to seeing these ants. Very clean, decor a little dated, but, very clean. Already made a reservation there for a future trip to the area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Very satisfied with our stay. The only problem we encountered was that we had reserved a non-smoking room & when we arrived the only rooms left were smoking. Fortunately, we were only in our room long enough to sleep. Otherwise, you can't beat the location of this hotel...lake across the street & Jet Express a 5 min walk away. :)

It resembles a summer house more than a hotel or motel. The harbour is across the street and places to eat are within walking distance.

i really liked our room, a little small, but was so convienient to jet express and marblehead and easy access to our room also. had an awesome weekend in port clinton!

Guest Inn and Suites on Perry St. was right in the heart of Port Clinton, a block from the water and downtown. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Will stay here again.

Went for Memorial Day weekend. Just looking for a nice comfortable clean room. Didn't plan on spending much time there. We got more than we expected for the price. Very friendly staff!! Clean well kept rooms. We stayed in the seasonal property about a mile down road from the main hotel. From what I could tell, there was no difference except maybe the […] view. This is a smaller, older hotel that provides good for the money accommodations. It is withing 3miles of good restaurants and only 6 miles from the Jet Express and Miller ferry, so if you want to sleepover somewhere after a long day in Put-In-Bay or Kelley island then this is a great hotel for you.
