Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Tv remote was not working to run DVD player and problem fixed immediately. Hotel needs upgrading!

We booked here very last minute en route to the US. We booked a 2 queen room with breakfast and checked in around 11pm. I was assured at check in that we were booked in queens but after we had dragged all our overnight stuff to the room, I saw that the beds were only doubles. We are two adults and two teens so it was very tight. We were too tired to […] complain so we went to bed and went to the lobby at 7:00 to grab our complimentary breakfast only to find the office unattended and locked. There was a note on the door stating breakfast would not be served until 7:30. Ultimately, we just went to the Tim`s next door, as we did not want to wait. I paid extra for the queen option over double so I do not feel it was worth it. We would not stay here again. 더 보기

The Hotel was good for people who ar travelling with their pets. It was spacious enough to house us and our dogs. Overall a good pet friendy hotel.

I was pleased staying at the Howard Johnson in Fort Erie . Fairly quiet the noise was due to the trafiic, but was minimal. I had no problem sleeping. The only scary thing was looking at the back side of the building was definately out-dated. Once inside I had no issues . I would stay there again.

Very basic clean motel. Staff was friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced and the location was good.

The room was very dirty...burns in the carpet, a layer of dirt/dust on the baseboards and only one towel for four people! The bed was like sleepy on a slab of concrete and ended up on the floor which was more comfortable. We would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

This dump should be condemmed. The room smelled musty, the carpet has possibley never been cleaned, took our showers with grocery plastic bags on our feet , the ice bucket had brown crud in the bottom....should we go on?. The nite before we had stayed at a wonderful hotel in Welland you had booked for us,, now that was a place to be proud of. The only […] thing this has going for it was it was close to our route. O, and the man at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, except he was burning incense in the office and it really was nauseating. He was nice tho and got us what we needed in terms of pillows - that by the way, has the substance of 2 socks in a plastic bag they were so old and wimpy. 더 보기

Breakfast was disappointing no selection breawkfast area looked more like a drive through than anything else

the carpet was stained and seemed damp hotel looks like its for sale or closed when we arrived

the stay at this hotel was a very pleasant experience. The hosts, a young couple with two beautiful children,did everything to make me feel home away from home.

The motel it's just OK to spend a night, good to just sleep and move on. No breakfast area, you need to bring your bagel and/or coffee to the room.

Recommended for that price.

We didn't have high expectations when we booked this hotel, and I'm glad because we would have been very disappointed. The building is in desperate need of updating or renovation or something. The room furniture was old, and though it seemed like perhaps the carpet had been replaced in the not too distant past in an effort to update, the room had a […] musty smell to it. The location was good, though - JUST past the border crossing and in walking distance of restaurants and stores. The breakfast was just some boxes of store-bought muffins and doughnuts with the only redeeming feature being that they were fresh Tim Horton's doughnuts from the shop next door. 더 보기

Ok, the room was nicer than expected. Fort Erie Ontario sucks, the food sucks at every restaurant. The cabbies the hotel recommended were charging $35 to $45 US each way to go across the border into Buffalo; that's a three-mile drive and a three-dollar (US) toll! The staff was responsive to questioning about directions and printed mapquest, but tried […] to get my credit card for "incidentals", without explaining what they were, even though I had pre-paid the room. When I wouldn't give the credit card, they insisted on a $100 (US) deposit, which I did get back. Also, the room was filled with obnoxious signs declaring that should anyone dare smoke in the set-aside room with a separate entrance that they would be fined $250. Id didn't, but the restirction seemed unreasonable in light of the location and designed to gain money from the weary and nicotine-starved traveler. I'd say 2 stars is about right, when one balances the pleasant and unpleasant surprizes. Also, the hotel was next to a burned-out Irish Pub that apparently had not been open in several years and looked hazardous. 더 보기
