Hotel is a little olderbut well maintained. AC in my room was not all that effective and I was a country mile from the nearest elevatir. Staff was friendly and the overall experience was three star.

It was fine other than the mechanisms for the ac. The maintenance man fixed that and also gave us a new remote control for the TV as ours didn't work.

The room had two things that needed to be fixed. The repair man fixed them quickly. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay here. Great location only blocks away from Colonial Williamsburg. All the staff we dealt with were nice. Can't wait to stay here again.

Location is the primary asset to this hotel. Walking distance to all dowtown historic sites. Otherwise quite average.

4th grade DD & I loved Colonial Wmsbrg, & the Hospitality House was a great base for our trip. Convenient (7-10 mins walk from historic area), nicely appointed, room service was a treat, easy to find & parking included. Price was right. Would definitely recommend for family trip.

Nice location, very friendly staff. The bathroom and room were a bit dated. There seemed to be a musty basement smell in the room. Would stay again but hope they do some updates.

Very elegant Hotel in need of some updating. Bathroom did not do hotel justice. Shower drain was rusted and fell off when lifted up. The water tasted very funky which made the coffee in our room taste very bad. Could not get coffee anywhere else in the hotel once the restaurant closed. We had to go out to find coffee. People who worked in the restaurant […] and bar areas were very efficient friendly. All in all I think we will find a different hotel on our next trip to Williamsburg. 더 보기

Really enjoyed our visit, as it was near everything. Hotel was clean and quiet and breakfasts were quite good. Would stay there again.

The service was very good. The bellman was outstanding! When we got to the room we were disappointed. The room looked old. The cable for the TV was run under the carpet. Then the real disappointment...the 20 inch tube TV! I haven't seen one of those in a while. It was very hard to watch anything. The water pressure was low as was the shower head. A wonderful hotel. It was beautifully decorated in colonial style, and was within walking distance to downtown Williamsburg. The people working behind the desk were friendly and courteous. We had a wonderful time, and hope to return soon.

We spent a night at the WHH and found it to be lovely. We walked to Williamsburg quite easily. The hotel is nicely decorated and has a beautiful garden.

The hotel was VERY quiet. Beautiful. Staff was extremely kind. Very close to restaurants, bars, and Merchant's Square. We stayed here for one night for our anniversary and had a wonderful time, we would definitely consider coming back!

We stay at this hotel every time we visit Williamsburg and each time it is always a very pleasant stay, The rooms are very clean. The people are always friendly. We love eating at the hotel. We think that they service some of the best food in Williamsburg. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff and facilities well above average. Food services outstanding. Room clean and very comfortable. Garage under ground and felt safe .The hotel was well maintained in all ares. We left the tour of the palace rather than be bored to death with overacting . We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hospitality House because the staff are fantastic and care about their customers! They listen and respond to every request!! Great room, comfortable bed and very clean. Walk to Colonial Williamsburg is quick and easy through lovely neighborhood--great location!! Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

Nice classy hotel that needs a make over. I think you can find a better (cheaper) deal in town with similar room setting (bedding, bathroom, free WiFi etc.). Covered parking and location (close to W&M college and downtown Williamsburg) is a plus, though. I'm not saying don't stay but you can find a better deal in town, I think.

I am not a picky person when it comes to where we stay, but I would not go back to this location. Our room had a musty smell and the airconditioner leaked through the ceiling when it was running. All we heard all night was the dripping of the water on the floor. It was not just our room either. We stayed at this location for a wedding and got to see […] some of the rooms our friends were in as well. While they did not have the exact same problems, they had some nonetheless. 더 보기

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. But after 10pm the halls needed to be monitored because the noise in the hallway was so loud were not able to get a restful nights sleep.

i booked a king size single and got a double. found 1 large black spider in bed sheets still alive. hooks for artwork on the wall, but no artwork. no heat at all in the room when the temp was in the low 50's during daytime hours. overall experience was far below expectations when the low end of the hotel industry has made movements to update their facilities. […] way outdated and poor atmosphere. will never stay there again despite liking the location. i'd rather stay further away and commute into the area for the reasons of being there in town. and will let anyone i come into contact with about my experience and the staffs lack of understanding the their audacity to charge full price for a room well below industry standards. 더 보기

Very nice hotel and everyone working there was very nice and helpful. Great location too, walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and College of William and Mary.

This hotel is located very close to all of the main attractions Williamsburg has to offer, and even though there were lots of people in Williamsburg during my stay, the area around the hotel was not congested at all during my entire stay. I can recommend this hotel. It is very clean, comfortable, and accessible. Location is a several block walk to Williamsburg colonial area which provides interesting buildings and scenery along the way.

This location has always had great service. As a higher quality hotel, it would be nice to see free wifi especially for the rate. Even Days Inn and Motel 6's offer free wifi! Also there is no continental breakfast something simple would be great for those who are on the go. We stayed for three nights and the coffee in the room was not replenished either […] night. 더 보기

Overall very pleased with the hotel, except that it was supposed to come with a complimentary Continental Breakfast, which then wasn't offered.

After reading the many poor reviews of all the hotels in Williamsburg, this was by far the best. It was well worth the little extra money to stay here. substantially large fee for possible incidentals! Upon checking out, I was informed I would not be charged the amount, however, it was indeed withdrawn from my account shortly after our return home. […] Refuse to accept this practice and inform them you will pay any addition charges when checking out. Also, free internet was advertised so we assumed we would be able to use our computer to do some work while in there, however, an additional fee of $9.99 is charged. Overall stay was wonderful! The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very warm and inviting. Outside of the tiny garage and undesireable neighbors the stay was very nice. I would stay at the hotel again.

The hotel itself is really cute, the hotel staff is great, and the 415 restaurant is worth checking out. However, the walls are very thin. We had to ask our neighbours to keep their noise level down a couple times. Also, the beds are not very comfortable and the tv is small and hard to see while sitting on the bed. I don't know if this is true for every […] room, but there was a separate shower outside if the bathroom which was convenient for my boyfriend and I, but if you plan to go with people who haven't seen you naked, this might be an issue. Close to Colonial Wmbrg. and College of W&M . Comfortable, cool, quiet, plus great reasonably priced breakfasts and dinners in their 2 restaurants. Nice pool for an evening swim. Couldn't ask for more.

The Hospitality House was a great hotel for a weekend trip to Williamsburg. It is located a short drive from Busch Gardens, and is within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg and the shops and restaurants of downtown Williamsburg. Because of a great deal on Hotels.com, I was able to stay in a beautiful hotel in Williamsburg, Va. which under ordinary circumstances would have been to expensive for me. I was fortunate enough to get such a deal that I jumped at the chance. I was not disappointed. The room was lovely and the service was as well. After moving my daughter into her dorm […] room on a hot an humid July day, I was hot and tired. I was thrilled to enter my cozy cool room, shower and order a bite to eat and relax. I was having a bit of trouble with the TV (which was an older set which surprised me a little). When I called the front desk, the gentleman on the other end was kind and very helpful. When he could not resolve the problem, he had a worker come almost immediately to the room to resolve the problem. Frankly you can't ask for better than that. I was so thrilled with hotel and it's service, I booked two rooms for next spring when my baby graduates college!!!! I had to pay full price but since I won't be paying out of state tuition at the college anymore, I figured it was well worth it. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend a trip to Colonial Williamsburg and certainly a stay at the Hospitality House. 더 보기
