The room was very small and it had a terrible odor. The lobby had the same smell.Probably some ethnic cooking ( curry). Room was old, water in bathroom sink was slow draining. Not a good experience. Would not stay there again.

I was very pleased that manager completely understood and followed law regarding service animals.

I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was so easy to find! It took me a couple of days to find my way into Portsmouth from there - and when I did, I found that I was only 5 minutes from Market Street! Going north, I was less than 5 minutes to the outlets so that was great too! It was a perfect location for what I wanted. Hotel was fine for sleeping.. […] or just getting off your feet for a while. My key card had to be reset three times - once each day!.. (that can be very frustrating when you have your hands full and are trying to get into the room!) - Continental breakfast was ok - minimal in selection/content but there's a great little restaurant close by if you want a large breakfast..! Only [very] basic cable and one (1) HBO channel that carried (it seems) only documentaries, horror flicks, or boxing/wrestling. Room service was mediocre - I only had them refresh one (out of three) morning and they only refreshed the towels and emptied trash. Again, okay for what I needed and for the price, it couldn't be beat!! 더 보기

The hotel reeked of the odor of cooking which did not go away. The corridors had evidence of extreme wear and tear and there a number of tissues on the floor. The advertised "breakfast" was virtually nothing but cereal coffee anda few pieces of toast. We went for breakfast after we checked out. older hotel but it was clean, new beds, close to shopping etc,,very noisey and i think that was due to the age of the hotel but the price was right

Everything was clean, the hosts were pleasant and helpful. The floor had some condition issues which shold be addressed as it could cause a fall. Under the rugs there were soft spots and holes in the wood flooring.

It is a decent and affordable place to stay. The hotel need a little up keep due to the mildew and moldy smell in the room. Even though it was perfectly kept clean, it needs some renovation. The rate; however, justified my expectations so I cannot rate it any lower than average. The staff was polite and courteous. We did not get the chance to check […] out their continental breakfast. Otherwise, it would probably also influence my rating of the property. If we were in Kittery for a more leisurely purpose and shopping, I think it would have been a perfect place to stay because the outlet malls were such a short distance from it. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. There were holes in the bath room walls, the front desk wasn't staffed (you had to ring a bell), the doors were locked after 11PM until 7AM. The "free breakfast" wasn't worth even that much, coffee had grounds in it, there was only orange and apple juice and mini muffins, bread or english muffins for toasting. […] The toaster only worked on one of four slots. I was there for a week so it wasn't just a one day opps. We ending up getting coffee and donuts from a local coffee shop for the last 3 days. A total waste of time and effort. Looked nice from the outside and in the lobby but the room looked run down. Room had a large water stain on the ceiling with what looked like mold and room had a mildew smell. Staff were friendly, however after staying at the Days Inn in Bangor, I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with the condition of our room. It had a strong mildew smell and you could feel holes in the floor through the carpet. The flooring underlay was in poor condition. Not worth the money we paid.

You get what you pay for. A convenient location if you need somewhere to stop off for the night. Our room was pretty smelly, nicotine stained walls and had a fairly uncomfortable bed.

Sheet stained, Velour blanket had burn holes& red stains on edge nearest my face. No bathroom exhaust fan. From registration throughout building smelled of bleach. There many signs of uncompleted attempts at maintenance & tired soft furnishings. Pool gates were locked by thick VERY rusted chain & lock.

Floors have holes that are covered with carpet, push button light switches from the '40's, outlets spark when you plug in the smallest device (iPod charger), a LIVE gas line running across the parking lot. Dirty pool, rundown condition, of facility, poor quality breakfast food, thin walls and floors, old, tired bathroom floors and fixtures, carapet. Lumpy bed and poor fitting sheets, noisy and too expensive for the very low rating, Barely 1 star and would not recommend.,

The people were very nice and when my son accidentally brought the TV remote home in his dirty laundry, they said don't worry about it, although I mailed it back to them anyway. I've slept in more comfortable beds but other than that the room was pretty nice, maid service was friendly and accommodating, and the parking situation was great--right out […] side your door..also very convenient to both Hampton and York beaches, as well as downtown Portsmouth--overall no real complaints-I hardly ever find a hotel that has really comfortable beds 더 보기

i think it is the first day's in ever made. dirty, I thought i was going to fall through the floor of the room it was that soggy. when I told the desk clerk the next day she acted like it was no big deal.

Stayed here as an affordable option to attend a wedding in potsmouth. It's basic and would not allow an early check-in.

We had to take a smoking room because of our pets. I feel like it is punishment. The room reeks, the bathroom door won't shut (without ramming your body into it), our room doesn't have a microwave while some other rooms do, the "breakfast" consists of muffins, bagels, toast, and 2 types of cereal, the staff isn't friendly (the lady at the desk I believe […] was on a personal phone call while talking to me cause she never put the phone down), the bathroom has weird stains on the walls and grosses me out, we had to book through them directly for 2 of our 7 nights and they charged almost double to hotels.com price. I'm mostly furious that because I have pets, I have to be in a smell, stained, stinky room AND pay a pet fee. 더 보기

Put it this way... we slept fully clothed. And paid for 2 nights but left after the first night. The first room was slanted to the point a pen would race off of any table, the rooms stunk, and were not clean. I can handle a hostel etc... this hotel is no where near a 2 star hotel.... disgusting.

This hotel was a decent place to stay. There was a small continental breakfast provided. The hotel staff was a little disorganized and had difficulty finding my reservation through hotels.com. They also told a relative who called the front desk during our stay that they didn't have any guests under my name when both my sister and I were staying there […] under the same last name. The location would have been more convenient if the main bridge between Maine and Portsmouth had not been closed during our trip. Days Inn of Kittery appears sto be run by a family. they work hard to make it presentable. it was clean, no smells, and comfortable for the price.

It was unkept; i.e. the bathroom door needed repair and one of the steps taking us to the second floor had a piece of metal strip that was not secured. We tripped on it. Advertised free HBO...Not so Advertised pool,big selling point in renting,pool not in usewas chaied shut. Turned ac in room on,went to dinner,returned to ac unit shut off.not real thrilled with the hotel....

I would literally rather sleep under a tree than stay here again. Rude nearly incoherent staff. Disgusting smelly dated dirty rooms. Whole hotel smells. Exterior falling apart and the interior wad the same. Please, never stay here.

The Hotel was ok, but the room had an odor, and the pool was not working. This should have been on the website, since this was one of the reasons I chose this hote.

We had two rooms. They were very small. They were clean, however, they had a musty, closed-up smell. Areas of the floor had holes and soft spots under the carpet causing tripping while walking around. The pool was not open.

I wasn't sure what to expect from some of the reviews, but this one-night stay worked out quite well. Check-in was very speedy with cordial staff. Room was as described except for no micro but the comfy bed made up for it. Bathroom is old but they've made efforts to modernize some. Large TV and great AC were a plus. the room was clean we were on the first floor the floor in our room had holes under the rug in frount of the beds,the breakfast was bad the coffee was not very warm and the hot water for tea and oatmeal was cold they had english muffins,5 apples a few muffins,and no half and half for coffee just milk.

Good clean room and free continental breaksfast.. Pleasant atomsphere.

Kind of pricey for the hotel but it is worth it for the location. Located just over the border of NH and ME right down the street from the Kittery outlet malls and downtown Portsmouth, NH which was great (less than 5 min either way). Checkin was great the people at the front desk were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was old but somewhat maintained […] well, our outside door had issues shutting (had to be slammed several times to shut right), there are 2 doors in the room on the ground floor, one to the hall and one to the outside parking lot. The room itself was grungy mostly the carpet- don't walk barefoot on this carpet! The fridge was a good size but didn't work and someone's lunch was left inside. The bathroom was surprisingly very, very clean and updated, which was nice and the beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was just cereal and coffee which was not great, don't bother. We stayed here for one night as passing through which would be enough, I would not want to stay here any longer. It was nice being so close to the Kittery outlets, this made it convenient for us as we wanted to hit the malls 1st thing on our way to more northern Maine. If I were to stay in this area again, I would try to find somewhere else first and use this as a last resort, but it wasn't completely horrible. If you look around you can probably do better than this place. It's old and worn, but not rat infested. If you are in a pinch it will do.

Really lumpy floors. The bathroom door didn't close all of the way and the front door (into the parking lot) had to be forced closed. Wouldn't stay there again.

Hotel was understaffed so we couldn't check in until 4pm or so. Overall the hotel wasn't bad. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was a little dated, but no big deal. Pool was ok. Staff was ok. Can't expect too much for the cheapest hotel in the area. It is in a good location and for the money compared to other hotels it was fine.
