The cleanliness and hospitality of the hosts were acceptable. Fast food, gas stations and stores are easily accessible from the location. If there wasn't a sign out front, you would never know this was a super 8 motel. It was a great experience!

For the price, I was pleased. No thrills, just a clean room and a "little" breakfast in the morning. It was close to our conference meeting place and would probably stay here again. Friendly front desk staff.

When I arrived there was snow all over the parking lot but by the time I returned for the evening it had been plowed. They were eager to serve which was nice. Nothing fancy but a good bang for the buck.

I have never seen such a disgusting hotel ever and I've stayed in some run down places. Black mold in the pool area, pool was cold and dirty. The room stunk and the bathroom wasn't clean. I had to wipe it down to take a shower. I would NEVER stay there again. I would sleep in my car first.

Good value for the money paid.

pet owners beware,on hotel.com web says no charge.When we arrived note on door said pets 25 dollars per night.We told manager about web saying no charge he waived the fee.The internet did not work and dont expect too much for brekkie,although the coffee was ok.

Even though its name would imply a "lower-class" hotel, it was perfect for meeting our needs and exceed our expectations. It was clean, very convenient to places in which we had meetings and for multiple restaurants and entertainment venues, and the staff was cordial and helpful in addressing our questions and in getting us checked in and out. I stay at lots of hotels on business. This was not the hotel for me. Allthough the cost was low, I had barking dogs(2:00am) in both rooms next to me. They say high speed internet. Not true 1/4 meg service. Bottom line its ok if you want to stay on the cheap. I would not stay again.

This place was rated with 2 stars so we expected a no-frills but decent place. The room was in terrible condition. The room door was missing the security peep-hole so people in the hall could look right into the room (until we stuffed a tissue in it). The bathroom mirror was missing. The air conditioner made the room stink. The toilet was dirty. The […] box springs sat directly on the floor - no base or bedframe, so the bedspread hung about a foot too long on each side and the bed was very low. The upholstered furniture was badly stained. The clerk said it was their last room so we could not move to another room. They gave us $10 refund when we complained -- that certainly did not make up for a night of laying awake thinking about how awful the place was. We expect to visit the Holland Michigan area with some frequency, but will certainly never again stay at the Hudsonville Super 8. 더 보기

WE just needed a place to sleep while we were here. The hotel was clean and the people friendly and helpful. We even got to use the pool once and that was nice and clean as well. WE would stay here again.

On the day I made reservations, I called them directly to request a room on 1st floor close to lobby (walking difficulties), and again 5 days prior to arrival. The first person said she would leave a notation about my needs; the second one said that they were booked solid and he wasn't sure if he could promise. I said that as my reservations were made […] several weeks earlier, my request should take precedence. When I arrived at 2:00, the young man said Check-In was at 3:00, and the rooms weren't cleaned yet. I told him that I didn't want the room yet, just to check in before going off to photograph the area. This discussion and another about a room close to the lobby went on for some time. He kept telling me (and also a young family who arrived at 2:40) the room wasn't ready. Both of said that fine, but we just wanted to check in and then leave - and NO. I did not want to leave my luggage! I ended up returning at 10:30 pm with a take-out dinner and breakfast - planning to leave at 5:00 am for more photographs. There was no microwave in the room. So... the 6-1/2 hours I actually spent in the room was fine. It was clean, and I slept well until the guest overhead walked about at 4:00 am, but that was okay. I left at 5:00 as planned, and did not experience the breakfast served there. It was the desk clerk's rigid rule about 3:00 pm check-in that drove me nuts. I've done this several times - checked in early just to deal with the reservations when I reach an area. It doesn't matter if I can't get into a room at that time. He kept saying "I'm trying to help you." I kept saying, "Then listen to what I'm saying. I don't need the room now. I don't want to leave my luggage. I just want to check in and then leave - without having to drive back in an hour!" The young family was tired and ready to use the pool to relax. Fire alarm went off everytime the thunder stuck. Hotel personal didn't care, horrible nights sleep.

Our experience was very pleasant. Thr desk was very helpful with directions, restaurant ideas, and helpful with providing us with personal needs (tooth brush etc) left at home.

The hotel was very dirty. I actually went to lay down and pulled the blanket back and both pillow cases had big chunks of dried up snot all over them. I took a shower and the drain was plugged. The only reason why I gave it a 2 in the overall rating, was because the lady at the main desk was so nice and helpful, the men working were trying to blow things off and not care. Clean, nice and well maintained.

Just an overnight stop before heading home. Hotel clerk at check-in was very nice. He was quick with the check-in. Room was big and roomy, very clean. The pool was nice, however the hot tub was not working. Would stay here again and would recommend to friends.

We have stayed at this hotel two and three years ago and it was a pleasant experience. This year we stayed three nights and the place has deteriorated terribly. If I hadn't prepaid for the room I would have never stayed. No chance of going back to this place again.

This hotel was great for the money. We were using our room as a base to go between Holland and Grand Rapids, so this hotel was great for that. Would stay here again. The room was clean, air-conditioning worked great etc...

Provides good value for money. The hotel was reasonably clean, good staff, good morning breakfast. No eggs or meat contents in the breakfast...good news for vegetarians. I booked 2 rooms - one queen bed and 2 queen bed rooms. Both had no microwave oven. So had to go to front desk for boiling milk for the baby. This hotel was alright for the cheap price we paid, but it was run down, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep in, and breakfast was disgusting. The pool was nice, the bathroom was nice (even had a curved shower curtain rod and nice shower curtain) and it was comfortably clean. I was looking for a place to sleep where I could get a quick breakfast and be on my way. This well suited my criteria.

Apparently most of the customers staying at this establishment are construction crews. Close to the freeway. The carpets are filthy dirty from the muddy boots and are not vacuumed daily. The dust and smoke levels are high. This is a non-smoking place. The drapes are not hung properly and cigarette burns are in the bedspreads. I had to go down and request clean towels, etc. (Dirty stairs) We had to continually clean the coffee pot and ice bucket as they were not cleaned at all. We stayed there 6 nights and really wished we could have left the first night when we looked at 3 rooms before we got to one we could sleep in. Breakfast - another joke!!! The beds were just ok, at least no bugs. The hot tub was closed, which sounds like it's been closed for awhile in reading other reviews. Breakfast was pretty minimum. Waffles & cereal. I was disappointed

Hotel was fine for a short stay. Room was clean. Did't check out pool though. Breakfast was so so. Just toast, waffles, apples, muffins, milk, juice and choice of two cereals. Was not attended to well. Out of juice and muffins.

The cleaning staff was nice and efficient; if you want breakfast, be early. By 8am it was down to cereal and waffles. Very quiet neighborhood, close to other food choices.

The pillows were 2 inches thick. I asked for new pillows, but the manager did not know what I was talking about. The breakfast area was not kept clean between guests. No juice was served for 2 mornings. Decaf coffee was not offered. I had to ask for more milk. These problems can easily be solved if management understands what is needed.

The room assigned was occupied, had to change to new room. There was no shampoo in the room and the hotel had run out. There was only toast and oatmeal for breakfast at 10 am when breakfast was served till 11 am. Also we requested a non-smoking room and it stunk like smoke, as well as the motel itself.. Worst experience ever! How can a hotel run out of soap and shampoo? The place was awful!

I was passing through on my way to Chicago and I knew that it was necessary to spend overnight somewhere. I did not want to spend a arm and leg for a one night sleep over. I got the necessary information from Hotels.com about this Super 8 motel which was reasonable priced. Nice staff, clean place, good value. BTW, the local Marco's Pizza makes a great tasting pie... The only drawback is the lack of table space. The dresser is completely occupied by the TV. That leaves a small table that is half occupied by the coffee maker, and the nightstand. Bottom line: Not much room to set up your laptop, but it is workable. Too […] bad, too, because there is plenty of room for a small table or desk... The "continental breakfast" is passable, but they don't have much room for serving (they should use the atrium half way down by the pool - much more room) and the variety is small. Hotel was clean and personal were great. The pool was disappointing. The hot tub is roped off and the pool was cold . There were no towels so we had to go to front desk for them. Breakfast was good but they had no sugar free syrup. Hotels needs to realize there are a lot of diabetics out there. And we appreciate be thought of.
