This is our 6th visit to this hotel. Each time is better than the last. (And the first visit was good) Staff is helpful and breakfast buffet is among the best in this price range. Do request an inside room if you can. We think the new business wing is a great addition and the additional lounge help have a place to meet people. Great surprise. Just listed as a 3 star but I would consider it a 4 star. Room completely remodeled, ultra modern. Large with view of a lovely town. Adjacent to train station and shopping area. So easy as we arrived and left from train just to roll our suitcases to our hotel. Marvelous breakfast buffet included. Available in a lovely area. We were able […] to walk over Chapel bridge to old town. We ate at a fondue resturant and a old typical swiss tavern close enough to walk. Room was rather cramped and stuffy. A lot of outside noise impacted at night as to whe.ther to leave the windows open or not. Restaurant for dinner & breakfast was excellent although a little pricey. Very convenient to rail & port.

The hotel is located directly across from the main train station. Local restaurants and shops nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and helped with getting directions and finding good places to eat.

THIS HOTEL IS DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE TRAIN STATION AND IS CENTRAL TO ALL TOUR BUSES AND BOATS. ITS STAFF IS SOMEWHAT HELPFUL BUT I'VE EXPERIENCED MUCH BETTER.

perfectly located across from the train station, yet still only a few blocks from the river and old town. rooms were tastefully updated, very clean and bedding was very comfortable. overall an exceptional experience and will be recommending to others! note: there is a trendy bar across the street that lets out at 4:00AM, although I was awakened by singing […] and loud talking, I was on a leisure trip so it was not bothersome, could be if I were traveling for business. 더 보기

Ok hotel in good central location only if you do not have a car... extremely hard to find parking. Make sure you do not get a room overlooking the train station as it is very noisy and a bar there plays live bands until 2:30 am. Also avoid school holidays, the hotel was overrun by schoolboys on a trip and they were noisy and rude without supervision. Das Hotel Waldstätterhof hat uns für ein 4Sterne Hotel enttäuscht . Der Teppich im Zimmer war alles andere als sauber, die Couche war ebenfalls schmutzig und abgewetzt. Auch das Badezimmer hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt: Es wurde nur oberflächlich gereinigt, Haare lagen auf dem Boden und dem Toilettensitz. Ich war beruflich während einer ganzen Woche in diesem Hotel und sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr nett, das Zimmer ok und sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar sehr klein, das Brot war aber super lecker und es gab auch problemlos spezielle Kaffeewünsche. Auch Bad und Dusche waren gut und sauber. Einziges Problem; Wer zum Schlafen Ruhe braucht ist […] v.a. gegen Ende der Woche schlecht aufgehoben, weil das Hotel von Klubs umgeben ist und da ist es vor allem ab Donnerstagnacht relativ laut. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Umgebung (stark frequentiertes Jugendlokal) ist so laut, dass die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden können und es daher im Zimmer unangenehm warm sein kann.

Sehr gute Lage u.a. zum KKL, der Altstadt von Luzern und zum Vierwaldstätter See.

très bon accueil, bien situé pour les visites envisagées, un peu trop bruyant en raison du trafic automobile nocturne.

Hotellet ligger lige overfor banegården - centralt og bekvemt når man ankommer med tog. Dejlige schweiziske oste på morgenbordet, plus alt det andet som man forventer af en morgenbuffet.

Leider hatten wir unser Zimmer direkt neben dem Liftschacht. Jedesmal wenn jemand diesen benutzte hörten wir den Motor laufen. Das hielt uns quasi die ganze Nacht wach. Das Badezimmer war soweit ganz OK, und auch recht modern eingerichtet, was aber nicht für den Rest des Zimmers gilt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch eher spärlich. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich, die Einzelzimmer sind zwar eher klein, doch wenigstens mit modernen Apparaten ausgerüstet. Der Schlafkomfort war wegen der guten Matraze und wegen der erstaunlichen Stille (trotz Nähe zur Hauptstrase) sehr hoch. Der Speisesaal wirkt modern, doch aufgrund der hohen Decke kann man sich darin schon auch etwas verloren […] vor. Das Frühstücksbuffet fand ich spitze, die Auswahl an Broten ist gross und es wurden sogar erfrischende Gurken und Tomaten-Schnitze im Winter angeboten! Insgesamt hat mich aber vor allem das ausgezeichnete Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und die zentrale Lage des Hotels überzeugt. Nur zum Parking - wo man wie am Besten parken kann - hätte ich gerne auf der Internet-Seite des Hotels noch mehr Angaben gehabt. 더 보기

Great location and lovely city. Close to the train station with atleast 2 trains/hour to Zurich and flughafen. Easy to find. Overall experience is good!

何と言っても中央駅に近いことが魅力的だ。スーツケースを転がしていても、ホテルは駅の目の前だ。 朝食も種類が豊富で美味しかった。 またスタッフも皆親切で気持ちがいい。スイスのホテルは不親切なスタッフがたまにいるので・・・。

Wenn man ein Zimmer zur Strasse hat, macht man kein Auge zu. Außerdem gibt es ganze 6 Parkplätze und die kosten 17 Franken pro Tag und müssen vorher reserviert werden.
