그랜드 알베르고 솔레 (Grande Albergo Sole) - 팔레르모

Wow, this place claims to be 4 star and comes with a 4 star price tag. It is tired, run down, and the rooms smell like stale smoke. The hallways need painting. Zero European charm. Seems more like a truck stop hotel on the inside. The other guests were package tourists.

This hotel is directly across from Piazza Pretoria - a great location since I have a relative that lives across the piazza. We stay at Sole because it is clean, great breakfast and very professional staff at the desk.

Detta hotell var en mycket positiv överraskning då andra hotell i samma prisklass under våra två veckor på Sicilien höll betydligt sämre kvalitet. Rummet var inte helt nyrenoverat men var fräscht och rent. Badrummet var relativt nytt med steninredning, väldigt snyggt (och - hör och häpna- en toalettsits som faktiskt passade på toalettstolen, något […] av en unikum på Sicilien). Enda anmärkningen är att vi fick två stycken enkelsängar, visserligen 105 cm breda, men lite tråkigt ändå. Restaurangen verkade fin, men höll en väldigt hög prisklass. En Spagetti Carbonara hade gått på € 20 vilket är 2-3 gånger högre än på de flesta restauranger "på gatan". Området kändes säkert och efter klockan 20 (innan dess är allt stängt) på kvällen dukar tiotals restauanger ut sina bord ett par kvarter norrut. Tyvärr kan det vara lite svårt att hitta var restaurangerna ligger men gå norrut på Via Roma och kika inåt vänster (fungerar endast kvällstid). 더 보기

It is a nice hotel in the heart of Palermo. Very near to the most famous places - the Piassa Pretoria and the Quatro canti, the Normanna Chapel- Chappel Pallatina and busses and trainstation. The roof terrasse is exellent, and with a fantastic view to Monte Pelligrino and Monreale. And to all those beautiful towers. And the staff at Grande Albergo […] Sole was very helpful and generous. The room was clean and lovely. If we should say something-not important: we missed the different breadtypes at breakfast Sicilia is famous for, and would have loved some variations here. Thank you for a lovely visit, and we will come back one day and recommend the hotel. That is for sure. 더 보기

ottima sistemazione per girare il centro storico, peccato il parcheggio non coperto.

El hotel esta bien ubicado, cerca a todo lo que hay que ver en Palermo. El personal, parece molesto de trabajar en el sitio. Algunos detalles del hotel necesitan mejorar. En general, sin embargo, un buen hotel, por el precio.

パレルモ駅からは歩けなくはないが、荷物がある場合はタクシー利用となります。市内の主要な観光スポットはホテルから徒歩圏内と抜群のロケーションです。部屋も広く清潔で、夏でしたがクーラーもよく効いていて快適でした。ホテルからバスターミナルのあるパレルモ駅まで９ユーロでした。

Nice hotel relativly close to the essentials. What really upset me was that the rooftop bar was never opened during our stay, despite the fact that it was open from noon to midnight everyday according to the information in the room. We booked Grande Albergo Sole because of the beautiful terrace on the roof, but couldn´t use it as it wasn´t open, and […] there was no information on why, even the staff in the loby couldn´t give any reason more than that it was closed "today" (for three consecutive days). Breakfasts on the rooftop would be absolutly marvellous, instead of the grotto on the ground floor. 더 보기

Det særlige ved dette hotel er en gennemført smagfulde indretning - godt design, gode billeder på væggen hvor der spises morgenmad og især en meget fin øverste etage med restaurant, og udendørs mulighed for at nyde en dejlig udsigt.
