I would recomend this hotel with warnings. The location of the Lighthouse is wonderful. BUT, there is not pride of ownership of the facility. Our room was full of mold, mildew and rotting baseboard. The room was an upgrade on the bay side. The outside balcony needed cleaning along with the rest of the building. Our locks didn't work, the toilet seat […] was old, the coffee maker was old, the dust ruffle was full of dirt, etc. I would suggest that one visit the room they are assigned to before committing. 더 보기

We very much enjoy the location of this hotel in Rockport. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. The morning sunrises were very beautiful. The staff was very helpful and I enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts.

This is a lovely hotel. Well maintained and furnished with a very personable staff. The water views are outstanding as are the grounds.

We stayed at the Lighthouse Inn for our 15th Anniversay and when we checked in they put us in a room with no view. The hotel was very slow and we thought getting a room upgrade would be no problem as most hotels do this for free. Good service, excellent location and nice atmosphere.

If you're going to Rockport, hopefully it's to fish cause there's nothing else to do there besides eat. But it was a great get-away for my wife and me, as that's all we really needed. The Lighthouse was pricey considering it was Rockport, but that's what we get for booking within a week of our planned stay. Other than the price, the hotel was as expected. […] It didn't really blow our socks off as far as exceeding expectations, but being on the second floor and having a balcony with rocking chairs was a nice touch. If you can get a bayside room above the first floor, you will probably love it as you can sit out on "your" balcony, sip a little of your favorite beverage, and enjoy the view at night. 더 보기

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. The hotel was in a good location. We were in room 52 initially. The mold was bad and we were having difficulty breathing. We requested a room change and it was provided. The front desk staff were very helpful. Moving to room 48 the mold was decreased and it was much easier to breathe. The individual […] working at the desk identified that this was an on going issue. The pool and hot tub were really beautiful. But due to the fact that there were 5 men who were drinking and who dominated the hot tub the entire time,we were unable to use it. We didnt stay long in that area because of how crude the men were. There were beautiful flowers and many humming birds on the hotel grounds. The bay was beautiful. We paid for a room with a garden view. The view was of the parking lot and power lines with a palm tree in front of the lanai. I did alot of reserach because I wanted our anniversary to be special. Something special to remember. We loved this hotel and had a wonderful stay there. I had paid for the reservation 6 months earlier via hotels.com, so imagine my surprise to discover that the hotel ALSO charged my credit card for my stay. When I called them to point out the error, they were very apologetic and issued me a refund right away. This is a fabulous little place in Rockport! The location was very nice, and the pool is a cozy little spot. I liked that we were on the water and the hotel just gives you that comfort feeling. Everyone of the staff was very helpful, except the cranky night attendant. She looked at me like I was crazy, when I asked her at 9:00pm on a Friday if any of the resturants in town are open late. She proceeded to tell me they all closed at 9:00 & that their kitchen stayed open until 10pm. I told her we would take a chance and see what we could find... it was not an issue to find a resturant that stayed open until 10pm. The next night when we asked her if they had any fishing poles she told us "No", when I replied that the website showed they had them, she somehow managed to produce two of them. very nice place to stay. Children enjoyed the pool and the fishing off of the pier. would recommend it to anyone who wants a clean quiet place for a few days. I must say that the rooms were a little small for the price and the breakfast could stand some improvement.

This was a great place to stay. I took my young children and they enjoyed the pool. I have to say we had a great experience but the rooms were a little small but other than that, Great!

I had read all of the reviews and looked at all of the pictures and information about the hotel before booking. Most of the reviews were very good, so I thought I had made a good choice. Not so... The room was small, and really no place to put the suitcases. We wound up putting them on the only chair and small table. The only mirror was in the bathroom, […] which made getting ready inconvenient, the closet was not deep enough for the hangers to hang properly. The pool area was okay, and the pier was pretty nice. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs out there. The flowers and plants around the hotel, and pool area were very pretty. They did serve a nice breakfast. Their "regular" room rates are way too high for the quality (unless they have a whole different set of rooms for their regular price) and they are really not worth the "special" price. We did not say anything, but we will not stay there again, and will not recommend this hotel. 더 보기

This is a very relaxing place to stay. The rooms are nice and the property is quaint. Breakfast is hot and plentiful. We booked this hotel thinking it was a garden view. as stated. However, it was actually a view of the pool and parking lot. You must ask for a Bay View if you do not want to look at the parking lot. The Bay view is an additional fee per night.

This was the first time I stayed at the Lighthouse Inn and it has become my new favorite place to stay in Rockport. I opted not to have a bay view and had a great view of the pool and jacuzzi. Although the pier is only 90 feet, it sits close to a deep channel and my husband and sons caught so many fish we had a fish fry for two days! The rooms were spotless and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, dry cereal, fruit, and juice. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Lighthouse Inn. I highly recommend the steak dinner in the evening. Very good. The only downside is that the beach is not really within walking distance as we we were hoping. But we will certainly stay again. The staff is wonderful!

The only complaint I have is concerning the very uncomfortable pillows. The next time I will take my own.

I stayed at the Inn four 3 nights because I love Rockport and got a reasonable rate on Hotels.com. My room was lovely and clean. It had poolside access with a nice little patio of my own. The service and staff were outstanding.The bed was very comfortable. The food for breakfast and at the hotel Grill was great.

Great location, we had the suite with a king bed. It was very clean, great location, and had a great breakfast.

Nice people , beautiful view, fair prices. would go back

This is one of the nicest accomodations in Rockport. We enjoyed the morning breakfast and the steak dinner in the evening. Wonderful seafood restaurants in the area if you are looking for fresh fish! Enjoyed the stay at the Lighthouse Inn. The only complaint was our room didn't have coffee mugs and when I called down to the front desk she told me I had to come get them myself as there was no one to bring them up to the room. Other than that, it was a pleasant first stay and will stay there again.

I had to stay in Rockport on a business trip and found this hotel online. I was very pleasantly surprised by the attractiveness of the hotel, the helpfulness of the staff, and the value. Nice bar downstairs, nice breakfast in the morning. Very nice hotel.

Sliced fruit on breakfast tasted like fish. I told attendant and she said people often say that, but hotel would not do anything about it

We had a very restful stay. The room was great and very quiet. The only problem that we had was the changing from two queen size beds to a king size bed and a sleep sofa. We made it work. We were completely pleased with our stay. The staff was helpful, the place was clean and in excellent repair, and the breakfast was outstanding. It isn't a cookie cutter chain and its a place you will remember for good reasons..

Enjoy very much the hotel; nice, clean, pretty, next to the bay; close to the beach (not walking distance)good breakfast; I will definite will try to go back.

This is a very nice, relaxing environment. The rooms are nice, and well maintained. They provide a nice breakfast buffet, but be aware if the sign says breakfast ends at 9:30 - they do mean 9:30. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel was nice, it was a holiday so it was a little pricey but the pool made up for the cost with the humid weather.

The hotel was very nice, but the city was old and nothing was open when we went to dinner. It was Father's Day and we ended up at Popeyes Chicken. There was NOTHING else open to eat.

My whole family stayed here when we were in town for my Grandmother's 90th birthday party! We all loved it!! The rooms were really nice and clean, it was right on the water (gorgeous view), and the staff was really nice! I would definitely go back! : )

This is a very nice place to stay at...it's clean and comfortable. It looks just like the picture!! We loved it there. However, if you have small children and want to be right on the beach with the sand you will have to go somewhere else. Almost a throwback to the 40's. The hotel is maintained very well. There is a private pier that is at the entrance to a shrimp boat dock, so there are plenty of shorebirds and other oceanic wildlife to entertain if you like watching the ocean.
