This hotel was in a perfect location. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Everyone spoke good English which was a total benefit. We didn't include the breakfast buffet in our stay and wished we would have. We ended up having breakfast everyday. Although we didn't have dinner in the hotel, it was a packed house most nights. Oh! This is a modern hotel, right in the centre of Girona. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. This is my 4th stay there and i'll be going back in the summer.

Just a few steps from the Eiffel bridge, it"s convenient to the old quarter. English-speaking staff at the front desk is a real plus.

Have just returned from Girona and stayed at the Ciutat de Girona as I have on several previous occasions. The hotel is in a fantastic position , right in the old town , close to the river , cathedral and Jewish quarter. It is in a pedestrianised area and very quiet. The rooms are lovely - bathrooms ,beds, facilities ,comfort , cleanliness are all excellent […] .On this visit I did notice the recession is biting very hard in Girona and at the hotel- mainly at breakfast which on previous visits was splendid but this time it was very sparse. I totally understand that everyone has to make cuts but this is a minor thing which was a little disappointing. Would not stop me going there again as the hotel is lovely. 더 보기

Great hotel in the heart of Girona, great location.

Entirely agree with most of the other earlier comments - the staff are very friendly and it is in a superb position just across from the old town and its many attractions and restaurants. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant (Blanc) was excellent - loved the fresh squeezed orange juice - but we only had that once as it was a bit pricey and there were plenty […] of equally friendly cafes nearby, especially in the Placa Independencia. Bit disappointed though with an evening meal in the Restaurant Blanc - but as usual I think I made the wrong choice! Highly recommended. 더 보기

We stayed one night and had a triple. Room was good sized, modern, and clean. Only down side is there was only one small window in the corner, so it felt a bit cave-like. Nice breakfast in the morning. Wonderful staff at the desk. Everyone spoke English and they were friendly and helpful. Location is great - just a short block from a short bridge over […] the river and you are in the old part of the city. Nice plaza around the corner from the hotel with a number of restaurants. Girona was a side trip from Girona- and one of the best decisions we made. For cyclists, it's a terrific home base - close to many Lance-inspired rides. The team at the Ciutat de Girona were incredibly professional and helpful. The hotel itself was clean, welcoming - and had a fabulous restaurant that was one of the best meals of my whole trip...and […] that is saying alot for Spain! This was my 4th stay at this hotel. The staff are excellent, it's clean, modern and right in the city centre. Very close to the old quarter and near to the cathedral. No doubt about it, i'll be staying at this hotel again, during the summer.

We loved this hotel!! Cute place, very good location to the old city and lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance, super friendly staff, wonderful restaurant attached that is very popular with the local crowd and offers a fantastic 9 euro lunch, strong (and free) wireless internet, comfortable rooms and beds, beautifully decorated, analog […] and digital TV with clear signal, sufficient number of electrical outlets and large safe box in the room (fit both my wife’s 13” laptop and my 15” laptop, plus camera, lenses and other items.). Nearby parking (for a fee) for hotel guests. Wife and I highly recommend this place. 더 보기

I enjoyed my stay at the Ciutat de Girona. It is located near the center of the city. While the lobby is not large or particularly luxurious (and my room did not have a bath), it was clean, modern, pretty, and well-priced. I would certainly stay there again.

A very clean, modern, comfortable hotel in an excellent location, close to the cafes and restaurants of Placa Independencia and about 5-10 mins walk from the old quarter. We walked from the bus station to the hotel (about 12 mins) with the aid of a Google map. We had an excellent meal in Restaurant Blanc in the hotel one evening. We didn't take breakfast […] in the hotel as we felt this was a bit expensive for the small amount we would eat, so we had a coffee and croissant or sandwich in a local cafe for about €3 each. Girona is well worth a stay for a couple of days with interesting old churches and very well laid out museums. Don't miss going to have a look at Sant Pere de Galligants and have a walk round the walls. 더 보기

This hotel's in a good location; right in the centre of town, but on a quiet side street. The hotel is pretty new and is still shiny and clean. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the rooms are clean and quite funky. Breakfast served in the Blanc Restaurant is very good, and has a great choice. You are only an easy five minute walk across the […] river to the old-town; well worth a visit. The train station is a short walk, if you fancy a day trip to Barcelona. We selected this hotel based on previous reviews and our expectations were more that met. It is an easy 10 minute walk from the train and bus station, (pick up a map at the airport), and just moments from the river, the old town and squares with restaurants and bars, yet so very quiet. The festival of Saint Narcis was on while we were there and there […] were events right outside the hotel, yet it was still blissfully peaceful inside. We slept like logs. Staff were great - smiling, friendly and very helpful at translating information from Catalan which is used very widely here. Girona is a revelation and the Ciutat de Girona is the perfect hotel to use as a base to explore or to hop on a bus or train to explore the wider area. A good standard hotel, excellently situated in prime location to explore the character and charm filled "Old Town". The hotel is not luxurious, it does not have a bar area that exudes ambiance and the is a sterility as opposed to a minimalist feel to it. Having said all that, it's clean, the rooms are well equiped, including mini bar, toiletries, CD […] music centre and extremely large bed. My wife and I would be happy to stay at the hotel again and possibly take in the restaurant which seemed to be busy most days (a positive sign) although we prefer to eat Tapas style and there are a few "true" tapas bars where the locals convene (NOT the Irish bar!) and the quality of food on offer is excellent...as is the ambiance. Convenient walking distance to old quarter and modern shopping areas. Also walked to bus/train station for bus to Barcelona and shuttle bus to Girona Airport (Ryanaire flights). Lap top computer with internet access available to borrow at front desk. Can make tea in room.

This was a stylish hotel for the price and was convenient for exploring Girona. Rooms were well kept, air con was controllable, breakfast buffet was comprehensive and staff were courteous.

Great location near everything. Modern minimalist decor with great room facilities even a weighing scales which was vital with Ryanair baggage restrictions. Very quiet location. Friendly restaurant staff at breakfast. As our flight wasn't until late we were allowed keep our room until 2 o clock. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Modern, trendy hotel. Comfortable beds. Good TV. Stylish bathroom with great shower. Very good choice at breakfast. Service good - helpful staff. Hotel is on opposite side of river to old town but only a few minutes walk. Restaurants nearby.

staff very nice & helpful, room had no windows, only 2 skylights, air conditioner did not work well, breakfast buffet not replenished, already picked over when I arrived at 0830

Mycket bra centralt beläget hotell. Långt att gå till gratis parkeringsplats. Se upp när ni betalar minibaren. Begär kvitto och kolla beloppet på kvittot mot vad ni betalat innan ni lämnar receptionen.

Trevligt hotell i fint skick och med hög standard. Perfekt läge mitt i stan, nära till gamla stans sevärdheter och mitt ibland restauranger och caféer. Mycket bra frukostbuffé.

Para una ciudad como Gerona nos pareció el aparcamiento muy caro, 21 euros diarios.

Vi havde svært ved at finde hotellet. Det skyldes skiltningen. Prøv selv at køre efter skiltene. Det kan ikke lade sig gøre at finde frem til hotellet på den måde.

Mycket prisvärt hotel med centralt läge. Trevlig personal som pratade engelska och hjälpte till med allt. Rent och fint, härliga sängar.

Vi hadde bestilt do dobbeltrom til fire damer, alt var romslig, smakfullt og rent. Vårt ønske om røykerom ble oppfylt, uten at værelsene luktet gammel røyk. Senger var gode og flyttbare; dusjkranen på badet er anbrakt slik at man ikke får vann over seg FØR man ønsker det når man skrur opp i- smart! Godt med handklær, badekåpe, tøfler, alt tenkelig ustyr […] til skopuss, ansiktspleie etc. Nydelig treretters lunsj i hotellets stilige restaurant, med et glass vin pluss min. vann til for 10 euro - sånn må vi få det i Norge også! Kort gangavstand til Gironas fantastiske gamleby, plazaen og katedral. Anbefales varmt. 더 보기

Fica no centro histórico, por isso chegar no hotel com carro é um pouco complicado. A localização é excelente para que vai fazer turismo na cidade. O quarto estava bem conservado e com uma decoração moderna.

Good value for money - couldn't be placed better.
