It is a value for money hotel. Sharing of shower and toilet (clean) (no complementary soap/shampoo). between 5 rooms on one floor was no problem, if you get up on the early side of 8 o'clock When everyone wants to shower at the same time there will have to be a queue. Was given 4th floor for my stay n have to carry all my 3 luggages up n down e steeps flights of stairs. Fortunately, my teenage children are able to help carry them up. As such, not advisable for family with young kids or aged parents. Torn wall paper n my room was not mend. Toilet is old n mouldy. The Hotel is good located, you can easily reach the old town by foot, neighborhood is calm but also offers a few restaurants and pubs within 5 min walk. It's an old Hotel and the rooms are small, but for its price I liked It very much. I stayed in a lot of older city hotels around the world and this one is definitely one of the very better. It was the cheapest hotel we could find as the accommodation in Amsterdam is very expensive. The room was small, but we didn't really need anything big. It was warm (we stayed in January) and they tidied it every day and gave us clean towels daily too. The breakfast was basic, but fine (bread, 3 types of ham, honey, chocolate spread, hard-boiled eggs, […] 2 kinds of cereals, juice and a selection of hot drinks). Unfortunately we had a room with lots of ratpoo and a rat-trap. So we decided to skip the included breakfast... I'm pretty sure we all got bed-lice from the beds, and foot infections from the bathroom floor. Other than that, the beds seamed clean, but that was about it. The location was good though. Close to a lively part of Amsterdam.

I did not enjoy my stay at Hotel Crystal. After having travelled extensively through Europe and even stayed at hostels in Amsterdam, this hotel was very disappointing. The room was tidy and contained a small sink, however the shared toilet and shower facilities were extremely small. I would have to say the stairs were the biggest killer, which were narrower and steeper than any stairs i have encountered throughout Europe - if you have a suitcase, dont bother bringing it to this hotel as getting it up the stairs is a mission in itself. The hotel is located in a quite and descent neighbourhood and is nice to stay in. It's location is perfect to most of the tourist attractions. The rooms are not spacious and especially the shared rest room is not convenient at all (very narrow, but clean). I don't recommend it for those travelling with children.

HOTEL IS CONVENIETLY LOCATED. RECEPTIONISTS WERE VERY NICE. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE TOILET IS EXTREMELY SMALL.

Relatively quite location but just a short walk to Leidseplein - Food, drink, entertainment, shops, Trams, boat stop. Easy to get to centre and train station. Dutch style building, could benefit from a little maintenance. Great value for money. Super location. Only problems with lack of hot water on 2 days out of 4.

We enjoyed staying at the Crystal hotel, the location is great near the entertainment center and close to the public transportation. The hotel is small and simple but pleasant to stay. Clean rooms and nice breakfast. Free internet – but very slow. The reception team are friendly but busy always with internet… Generally very recommended.

The hotel is small like most old buildings in Amsterdam. The location was incredable, We were close to anything that you could want and was easy to come and go. The Room was a little small and the thought of sharing a bathroom with the floor was a bit unnerving but it worked well. The room could have been cleaner as under the bed had not been vacuumed […] in quite some time. The Staff were great, they accommodated all of our requests in a timely manner and were very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone I know with the advice of going in knowing why this is one of the cheaper places in Amsterdam to stay. 더 보기

This hotel is good. It has breakfast and FREE WIFI! I think it is well located and has helpful staff :) We had a private restroom, I don`t really know how the shared restrooms are, but ours was clean. The downside is that it doesn't have an elevator, which I have noticed in a lot of European hotels... the problem in this one is that the stairs are really […] narrow and dangerous. Clean comfortable hotel in a good location for visiting museums galleries etc. Excellent staff.

Hotel Crystal Sewer smell in bathroom always. Bed mattresses very old and not supportive. Difficult to manage luggage with small steep circular stairways. Hotel workers were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Reasonable hotel esp considering the cost of some of the others in Amsterdam. Possibly the best thing for us was that there was a bus to the airport (think it was number 297) almost at the front door (handy for us as we did a trip out to keukenhof which requires a bus from schipol). The single room is quite small as its price is very low. Although the bathroom is shared, but shampoo and body wash are served. They also have a lovely dining room. I found the hotel to be perfectly adequate, clean and well situated. The street and surrounding streets appeared quiet and safe. The staff were pleasant and helpful. THe location was excellent, 5 mins walk from Ledseplein, 20 mins walk from Dam Square, or a 5 min taxi ride. The breakfast was also very nice.

A decent stay in a hotel when you share a washroom with 4 other rooms on your floor. Your probably a 30 minute walk to the De Wallin but it is still a pretty good location.

Det framgick inte att en skatt skulle betalas innan vi fick rummet. Handdukar fick man säga till om varje dag. Vi hade fyra sängar som stod i rad i ett dubbelrum. De kanske hade dåligt med föråd?? Nja inget hotel jag väljer igen mvh Magnus

Vi fikk et sjokk da vi så trappa vi måtte gå for å komme til rommet vårt i andre etasje. Den var farlig bratt, som ei dårlig loftstrapp, og det var vanskelig å få opp og ned kofferten. Det var muggsopp i badets tak, og det var ellers så slitt at effektivt reinhold var umulig. Toalettrullholderen var håpløst vanskelig plassert ,høyt opp på feil side. […] Det var fullt mulig å plassere den riktig og godt tilgjengelig på riktig side (venstre i sittende posisjon). Malgré un aspect vieillot, le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Petit déjeuner simple mais suffisant pour démarrer la journée. On s'y sent bien.

Für Kurzentschlossene mit kleinem Budget reicht der Komfort, ansonsten würde ich es nicht weiterempfehlen! Grosser Pluspunkt - liegt nahe am Zentrum und damit nahe der Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie z.B. Museen,...

O hotel é ótimo, cama boa, banho muito bom, limpo, café da manhã bom, atendimento bom. Escadas íngremes, mas não atrapalharam, era até engraçado. O que nos deixou insatisfeitos foi que a internet não funcionou e não nos devolveram o pagamento que fizemos para utilizá-la.

No toque de queda; personal en recepción las 24 h. Escaleras estrechas y mortales, pero hay buena limpieza diaria. El desayuno es pobre pero habitual y la ubicación perfecta si te gusta el area de Liedsplein.

Отель расположен в хорошем месте, недалеко музей Ван Гога, Лейдсплейн и улица магазинов. До трамвайной остановки 3 мин пешком. Отель совсем не новый, но очень уютный. Завтрак континентальный (хлеб, колбаса, сыр, джем, хлопья, молоко, чай, кофе). Приветливый персонал. Цена соответсвует качеству.

Zu Beginn das beste am Hotel: Zwei Minuten Fussmarsch und man befindet sich am Leidseplein, einem Platz mit vielen Restaurants, Bars und Coffee-Shops. Auch ein Lidl ist in der Nähe. Abzüge muss ich leider beim Zustand des Hotels machen: Der Tepich im Zimmer hatte Löcher, WC und Dusche waren nicht ganz schimmelfrei und die untere Matratze (das Bett […] besteht aus deren zwei) war sehr fleckig. Meiner Meinung nach müssen hier dringend einige Investitionen getätigt werden! Zum Schluss noch zum Personal: Stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, nichts zu bemängeln. Das Hotel wurde seinen zwei Sternen gerecht, der Preis stimmt auch einigermassen. Für junge Partygänger, die nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbringen, und nicht so hohe Ansprüche an Komfort haben, ist es sicher eine gute Wahl. 더 보기

oui, le Crystal etait un peu félé dans cet hotel : la chambre pas très grande, placard bancal ainsi que le lavabo et les sanitaires (sur le palier où il y avait une fuite), de plus, nous avons attendu la dernière nuit pour avoir des serviettes... nous avons aussi cohabité avec une mignonne petite souris !!! MAIS, l'hotel est calme et situé à 2 pas […] de commerces, et dans un quartier plus hollandais que le centre ville... Accueil un peu frois mais plutot sympa tout de meme... 더 보기

This hotel was ok for cheap sleeping. Location isn't perfect, but however ok. At least you can see a lot of canals walking to your hotel. =) The staff was ok, not too talkaktive tough. Lo mejor del hotel es su situación. Pero la limpieza, la ropa de cama, las sábanas y la amabilidad del personal del hotel deja mucho que desear. El desayuno, aunque no muy variado, fue correcto. Las escaleras son suicidas

No es un hotel, es una casa adaptada para dar alojamiento, y depende lo q uno busque es la impresion q te llevas. Echt een basic hotel. Sobere kamers, geen ruimtes naast de kamers, zeer matig ontbijt (sommige dagen enkel wit brood, andere dagen wit en bruin brood). Wel proper

Chambre N° 10 trés petite . Pour 2 étages soit 8 chambres ,1 douche et 2 WC . Les lits ne sont pas fait seule la couette est tirée . Des parkings au Stade sont peu cher 4 euros par jour mais ne sont pas indiqués par la réception . Emplacement idéal pour visiter la ville et les musées;

Ohne anspruchsvoll zu sein muss ich sagen, dass das Frühstück fast schon abartig ist (entsetzlicher Kaffee aus einem Automat, völlig übersüßter "Orangensaft", verschimmeltes Toastbrot...), man sollte also direkt irgendwo in der Stadt frühstücken. hôtel bien situé. Beaucoup de tramways à proximité. Seul bémol, nous étions au 4ème étage sous kes toits et par grosse chaleur, c'est difficile d'y dormir.

Kleines Hotel,sauber, einfaches Frühstück...Absolut ideal für Reisende ohne grosse Ansprüche. Lage ist sehr gut!
