We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities that it had to offer. Walls are thin and can easily hear neighbors. We lucked out and had quiet neighbors. They also tell you the timeshare tour is only an hour and a half but it turns into 4-5 hours. Luckily my parents went so we could stay and entertain all of our kids. location is great,easy access to many attractions.have stayed there on other occassions,in a 2 br unit.The one br was sufficient,but much smaller living area,more like a hotel,than a condo.I would reccommend 2 br unit,as they are much larger,more comfortable.it is worth paying the difference,for the larger unit.

We enjoyed our visit at King's Creek. The room was cleaned and comfortable. It was great having everything right there.

Gives you the feel of home! We had a two level unit with 2.5 baths, it was sure great to have that with 4 teenagers! Unit also had a washer and dryer so if you plan to stay here you could pack a bit lighter if you don't mind doing some laundry in the evenings. For families, King's Creek provides plenty of room, a full kitchen, W/D - everything you'd want or need. It's not exactly the lap of luxury as everything is pretty basic, but the service is WAY below basic expectations. I made two requests when I booked - an early check-in and a crib in the room. We arrived 2 1/2 hrs before standard check-in and were […] told the room wasn't ready but they would call my cell when it was. That would have been great, except that they called 15 minutes AFTER the standard check-in time to say we could get in - NOT HELPFUL. The worst part of the experience was getting a crib. When we arrived, I asked if the crib we'd requested was in the room. The person gave me a look that said they clearly hadn't seen that request, so she called housekeeping to get a crib (this was at 1:30PM). When we finally got to the room at 8PM, there was no crib, so I called the front desk, explained that I had a 5 month old child that would be going to bed soon and requested that someone bring a crib ASAP. At 8:45PM, I called back asking where the crib was. I was told someone would "be right there" with it. At 9:30PM, I called AGAIN asking where the crib was, only to be told that they might have run out of those earlier in the day, but they would check and call back. At 9:50PM, the front desk called back to say they did run out of cribs and they would bring one the next morning if they could find one. So, in short, my five month old son had to sleep on a couch cushion on the floor surrounded by a make shift pillow wall. Though a crib was delivered the next morning, I can say the whole experience was ruined for us by the first night. And to make matters worse, I spoke to the manager about the incident when we checked-out and I basically got a shoulder-shrug and a half-hearted "sorry". So, long story short, if you need the space - stay here. But make sure you have EVERYTHING you need and don't have to count on the resort services for anything. 더 보기

We stay in 1 bed room cottage with kids. The room is pretty clean. Couple things that they can improve are: 1. need a real resturant there. There is not resturant nearby, except the on site BBQ place. 2. the sofa bed is very bad, it kill your back.

First of all, we were under the impression, when we reserved a TOWNHOUSE, that it would in fact be a 2 level TOWNHOUSE. What we got was simply a condo. The beds were cheap motel grade and very uncomfortable. In fact, all of the furnishings and appliances were cheap motel grade. The maximum occupancy of the room was 6; however, the washer/dryer had the […] capacity of about 2 people. We were a family of 5. The washer could only handle 3 towels at a time and could not handle the entire "king size" sheet set. We had to run the dryer through 2 cycles for each load because after one cycle; the clothes were still wet. Needless to say, we did laundry the entire time we were there. The community grills were filthy! One of them had plastic wrap melted to it! The pool was way WAY overcrowded. At one point, there were 20 kids wrestling and horse playing with NO parental supervision. The pool had a maximum occupancy of 40 and we counted, in excess, of 50 at a time! Then, as I was sitting at the pool side watching my kids, an "undercover" salesman approached me and harassed me about buying into their time shares!!! The "owners" at King's Creek completely TAKE OVER and unless you are in fact an owner; stay elsewhere. You cannot beat the convenience of the place, though. 더 보기

This was our first time renting a time share, and we ended up thrilled with our decision. The resort had great amenities including 3 pools. The check in process was smooth and quick. We were offered a tour and time share presentation, but after 1 gentle refusal we were not asked again. Our party was 2 families with a total of 3 adults and 3 pre-teens […] and rented a 3 bedroom cottage (both sides of the 1 and 2 bedroom lock-offs). Having an entire building to ourselves was great as we didn't need to worry if the kids made noise. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths made privacy possible. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed for the meals we had in the unit. Both refrigerators even had automatic ice makers, which was a nice touch. We loved using the washing machines in the unit (2) so we didn't come home with laundry to do. Our unit had a large porch with rocking chairs and 2 decks with chairs. We loved sitting outside in the evening and just enjoying being on vacation. The cottage was tastefully decorated and the furniture was more than adequate. The dining area had a large table with seating for 6 (the 1 bedroom side had seating for 3 or 4). The king sized beds in 2 of the bedrooms were comfortable. We were able to easily control the temperature. Each room had ceiling fans which made it even easier to cool off on hot days. The living room 3 bedrooms had large flat screen TVs with a good selection of cable channels. The small TV in the study would have been disappointing as a "living room" TV if we didn't have the full living room as an option (i.e., if you only rented the 1 bedroom, the TV in the bedroom is large but the one in the dining/kitchen area is small). Having never rented a time share before we were concerned that we'd miss daily housekeeping. We were so pleased with the size and amenities of the unit that we didn't mind making the beds and washing the towels. We were pleasantly surprisd at how homey King's Creek is. We took a tour of the remodeled lodging and fell in love with those. The surrounding tonws, shopping, etc. added to the charm. We can't wait to come back for another [longer] stay.

It was excellent! The room was comfortable and had all we needed with two little kids. I loved the fact that there was 1/2 kitchen and big bathroom. I also was glad to have laundry machine and the drier. Came handy. My kids had place to run when we were at the hotel (home). It is right next door to the water country and Busch Gardens as well as other […] attractions. There is a big grocery store less then a mile away. Great location, great rooms, and a great development. I was put off by the pre-scheduling of a "presentation" to sell us a time share. We did not go. Very impressed with the amenities - full kitchen, well stocked the essentials. I would stay here again if the price was right. The nearby Target has groceries as well.

The hotel is very clean and it feels like home. Everything is close by especially the three parks that we visited. I will definitely come back.

This is a time share proberty. We did attend a seminar but were not required too. They were not pushy about it. The one bedroom unit was comfortable and was a good base for our Williamsburg activities. We enjoyed our stay. There are lots of activities and pools for families. It is a safe and secure location.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but my cottage was perfect for my needs. It was spotless and very comfortable. There was a problem with the refrigerator, but maintenance came within an hour of my report. I would stay there again, and I recommend King's Creek Plantation to anyone who is traveling in the Williamsburg, VA area.

Same price as a hotel for more room and a jacuzzi in the one bedroom "condo." It was like a small apartment, but perfect for two people. Only complaint was that the kitchen was cramped, as in the fridge takes up half the room. But it comes with utensils and dishes so we could make breakfast, etc and not have to go out. There was a BBQ trailor on site […] that sold BBQ, we didn't try it but it looked and smelled good, so there is something to eat. Nice to have an indoor pool as well for when it rained, along with sauna and steam room. You can tell right away that this is a time-share place, but they weren't pushy at all about trying to get us to look at places, etc. Only mentioned it when we picked up the parking pass. I recently stayed at the Creeks Mill and I found it to be outstanding. I stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage. While I was there I had company over and felt comfortable entertaining 2 others in the small living room area with out feeling cramped. (We ordered pizza that was there in a record 10mins both times) My daughter enjoyed the great park area, the massive […] outside pool and the indoor pool. The front office was staffed with friendly and knowledgeable people. I had my itinerary planned for the week very soon, all coming from their literature and suggestions. The room was big enough for all three of us to scatter and have a little privacy. My daughter enjoyed the cottage Jacuzzi at night and my friend enjoyed the comfy sofa while working on her laptop. I was able to find some solace in the king size bed and watch my favorite show on the large flat screen in the bedroom. My daughter and I enjoyed watching DVD’s I brought along on their DvD player in the room. In the morning we grabbed a coffee and Krispy cream out of the lobby started our tours. King's Creek is clean, well maintained and pleasant. Just beware that a one bedroom cottage is just that--great for a couple but tight for a family of 3 or 4. There's a small sofa bed in living/kitchen area, but we had a nice comfy king in the bedroom. These are duplex type units, so don't be surprised if you can hear your neighbors. Area attractions […] are easy and quick to get to. We spent more time away from the resort taking in all the great things to see and do in the Williamsburg area. Great family trip overall! It was centrally located in Williamsburg. The amenities were outstanding. The cottages were roomy and clean. The only think lacking was maid service every several days. It is a very large complex with many things to do. The staff in the office was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The Kings Creek Plantation in Williamsburg, VA - staff excellent, friendly, courteous, helpful. Our stay at Kings Creek Plantation was perfect! My husband is a health inspector and I was alittle nervious about our stay because ,he is always looking for problems. Our room was beautiful. We want to go back and stay in the same room. Well worth the money, and close to everything. Would recommend to everyone.

We had a condo style room that had 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, dining, and living space. Washer and dryer, etc. Only problems we had were the walls were thin and our neighbors were noisy, more so the ones above us seemed to be running and jumping around chasing each other just as we were trying to fall asleep each night. We'd call the front desk and they […] would send someone over or call them to quiet it down. If I stay there again, I'd recommend the village style homes that aren't connected so you don't have to worry about noisy neighbors. Oh, and bring extra pillows! there were not enough in the rooms. Very convenient for Water Country, just one street up. A few minutes from Busch Gardens and not far from the outlets. 더 보기

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we wanted to stay somewhere really nice for a couple nights so I spent the extra money for what I thought would be a great hotel. We got there the room was alot smaller that we were led to belive the king size bed was that hard that we had to sleep out on the sofa-bed which was also very hard. The neighbors […] sounded like they were in the room with us and they even set off our somke alarm when the burnt whatever it was that they were cooking. The house we stayed in was clean, and very well maintained. All the systems worked well and everything seemed new or close to new. My one peeve is that the hotel did not let us know that they had wifi available in all rooms. This is our second year at King's Creek and we'd recommend it without reservation.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Plantation. Our two bedroom condo was spacious, clean and well appointed. Not knowing what to expect, we brought a lot of creature comforts from home (pillows, utensils, paper products, bottle opener, etc.) Turns out we didn't need any of that. Overall we enjoyed this hotel. The pool was nice, the service good and a fantastic location. Our one complaint was cleanliness. Our bathroom had a cracked tub and a pretty outstanding mold problem as a result. We did not ask to change rooms and in hind-site probably should have. We walked through the game room and it looked like it had never been cleaned. […] Other than the outdoor pool (which seemed very clean) we did not use any of the other on-site amenities. The beds and pillows are a bit firm, but overall, the kitchenette, tub, parking and proximity to Water Country (we walked over and saved parking $) make this a very convenient choice and we got a really nice rate!

It was a great place to stay at while visiting williamsburg area. Very spacious rooms and living space and decorated very nicely!! We had the 2 bedroom townhouse with 2 children and 4 adults. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay. We won't stay at a regular hotel again if we can help it. The condo was very spacious and comfortable.

This townhouse was much bigger than expected. We were eight people in a three-bedroom townhouse – more than enough room. Our kids loved having their own bedroom on vacation. A kitchen and BBQ on vacation is a plus, we didn't eat out every night. Great money saver. However, the few nights that we did want to eat out, the restaurants were only about 10 […] minutes away. For us, we packed too much in such a short time that we did not use the hotels amenities. Next time we will stay longer. 더 보기

This is a great place to stay if you are planning to be in the Williamsburg area. Location is perfect - right next door to Water Country USA (literally), 5 mins from Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. Shopping and dining are all within minutes. The property is a well maintained timeshare development. Do not expect room service or daily housekeeping […] (at least in the townhome section). But do expect a very roomy 2 bedroom apartment with two nice sized bathrooms and a full kitchen. The construction is good and bad. The good is that you can not hear much noise from outside (and we were opposite one of the pools). The bad is that there are 2 apartments in each townhome (1st flr and 2nd flr) and you can hear people running around in either one. Also, the beds were hard, and the bedding very cheap. Otherwise kitchen was nice and clean, there was a washer / dryer in the unit which was very handy. A whirlpool tub and shower in the master bathroom, and 4 TVs. Enough to keep the whole family occupied. Add to that 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool. All in all, a good place to stay with kids. 더 보기
