My room was immediately next to an area where semis delivered and loaded mail for the post office. Happened in the afternoon when I tried to sneak a quick nap and then again from about 12:30 AM until 1:30 AM. VERY NOISY AND IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP. Sold out and staff did not care!

We had some problems with our reservation and he help us and made it go smoothly:) room are pretty big

This was the first time I used Hotels.com and I was very satisfied.

The room was clean and the motel upkeep was good. Overall good deal for a brief overnight stay.

There was a big piece of chewed gum on the table

not fancy, but clean and a good value for the price given Chicago prices.

Nice room, very clean, motel was quiet but hard to find. There is only one sign out front and a wall next to the Post Office makes it a bit hard to find. Somewhat limited breakfast, but very good overall.

Needed a place to sleep for almost a week while my son was in the hospital that was 1. driving distance close, 2. offered something for breakfast, 3. was clean, 4. wouldn't break my meager budget, and 5. non-smoking room. My criteria were met at this hotel. All I did was sleep, shower, and grab a muffin and coffee for breakfast. Clean, comfy room. […] Clean bathroom. Very little noise at night. Muffins and pastries, milk, juice, coffee for breakfast. The only issue I had was that, in order to keep the hallways aired out of cigarette smoke, the outside doors had to be propped open...which made it a bit cold at night. 더 보기

The only good thing about it was the price. It was cheap. But you get what you pay for. Walked in to check in and there was nobody at the front desk. Had to wait 3 or 4 minutes before someone realized I was there. The TV only gets like 20 channels and most of them were fuzzy. I stayed in room 221 and it was impossible to sleep well because the window […] faces the Post Office and it was very loud and disturbing with things going on at the post office. This hotel is just about what you would expect. TV picture quality was horrible and the cable package left alot to be desired. No ESPN! Really? 6 viewable channels. I have stayed in numerous hotels of this brand. This hotel had the least appealing Smart Start Breakfast options that I have ever seen. Front desk personel was downright in-hospitable.

Hotel charged extra for children on arrival for pre-paid room. Walls were patched. Heat didn't work. Night clerk unfriendly and unhelpful.

In the hotel profile state that it is 31/2 miles from the Airport and in reality is about 8-10 miles

I was very unhappy with the service at this hotel. Upon checking in we told them the toilet leaked and was loud all night and they said they would have maintenance fix it and they never did so for three nights we didn't get much sleep because of how loud it was...we finally go to the point we turned the water to the toilet off in order to be able to […] sleep. The beds are old and worn out and need to be replaced. It is true you get what you pay for. Breakfast was a huge disappointment too it consisted of juice and coffee...nothing worth eating. Our daughter lives on the north side of Chicago. We chose this Super 8 because it is only 25 minutes from her apartment. This was a nice basic hotel, like any other Super 8. The room was clean with the basic amenities provided. We skipped breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. I liked this motel in a nice suburbian surrounding. Friendly stuff, good breakfast, clean. The only advice: The small area in front of my windows needed some attention and cleaning. Highly recommended if you´re planning a short stay here or if you are on the way to another destination.

The floor was damp, and right next door is a USPS truck drop off, so at midnight, 2:30am and 5am & 7:30am people were loudly loading up the trucks and slamming doors. It was Horrible!

The hotel is in a nice suburb of Chicago and close to stores you may want to visit. The price is very good, but of course that means the hotel is basic. It was clean, the service was nice. Only two things to note - the shower takes about 10 min to heat up but it will get hot, just be patient. And the AC/heater is right under the window, so the curtains […] prevent a lot of air flow. The hallways were not air conditioned. The place seemed dingy. TV in room kept going in and out with the storm. Not all channels came in when it did. Things were generally clean and location was good, considering my needs. Staffer using computer meant for guests.

Average two star hotel. Clean, but slightly worn. Breakfast left much to be desired, but price was great compared to other motels in the area. If your plan is to find a clean safe place to crash without too much concern for amenities this is it.

unpleasant experience. we stayed up all night due to smoke smell.

Carpet was dirty and pillows were disgusting.

The first night we stayed we couldn't sleep. They put us in a room right next to the post office and all night long we heard them loading their trucks. What a nightmare!!! The location is pretty convenient and the price is pretty close to what you would expect for this hotel. It is a little worn around the edges but the room was clean. The heater didn't work so I notified the desk. When I returned to the room in the wee hours, there were portable heaters running which kept the room quite comfortable.
