The breakfast is good and the support staff was very friendly. The hotel and the room were clean. But the bedspread had a couple of stains on it. The price is very good for what you get and they offered a room upgrade for a very reasonable price. They are off the interstate enough that road noise wasn't a problem. Yet it is simple to find.

The hotel is well kept and clean. Staff is helpful and very pleasant. The only problem we experienced was that the hallways leading to our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke even though all of the rooms in the hallway were non smoking.

The room was clean and everything was in good condition. Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. The location was a plus with highway access within 2 minutes travel time. This stay was a repeat of our original experience a couple of years ago.

Very convenient location, and has everything you would need including restaurant and bar, coffee in the lobby in case the coffee in your room is not enough. This is a conveniently located hotel, but breakfast was specifically included when we booked the hotel and when we got there we were told that it wasn't included and we were then charged over thirty bucks for breakfast adding about thirty per cent to our bill. Hotel is very convienient location when visiting my son at East Stroudsburg. Was pleased to find there was a small fridge in room. Decor is a bit dated but my room was very clean and the rate very reasonable. We had the breakfast buffet on Sunday and it was good for the price.

Great value for the price! Room was clean, convenient to highway and the people at the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. Will come here again and recommend to others.

The rooms were considerably nice for an "no name" hotel. I stayed for two nights in the deluxe king. Would stay again.

The main problem we had with this particular hotel was the continental breakfast ... skip it ... would be better off with no breakfast. Also, the rooms and hallways all have that musty smell. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable ... but just that musty old smell in the air.

The hotel was very convient to get to off the Highway. The only complaint I have is that there was a smell on the side of the hotel that we stayed in. As soon as you entered the building it has an odor. I was very happy with this place not only because of the location but was nice and clean and the food and service next door was exellent.Perfect when you travel with children.

By far one of the best budget hotels I have stayed at in a long time! No complaints to hotel. Staff was super nice. Room was clean. Bathroom also . We saw small cockroach in the morning leaving room...

I took my 3 daughters to the Pocono's for a weekend of sight-seeing and shopping. First off, the man at the front desk was arrogant, never welcoming us but instead quickly telling us where our room is. The room was gross. I was scared to walk on the rug without shoes on because it appeared to be so dirty. There was hair on both bed linens and pillows. […] The mattress on the bed was too soft. I have stayed at the Budget Inn multiple times when skiing at Camelback. I have always found it clean and comfortable. It is close to the mountain and, in my opinion, is the best value in the area.

Literally rigjt off of I-80. Great location for Pocono skiing/snowboading. Clean, friendly staff, no frills but well-priced. I would stay there again.

it would be helpful for Hotels.com to inform clients that the breakfast must be purchased and is not included in the stay.

Since I couldnt give 4.5, I gave 5, bc 4 just didn't cut it. For the price and star rating, it simply doesn't get better than this. My only complaint is the room service cleaning staff did not put out new towels, just took away the old ones after we left in the morning.. This place was a great value for the price we paid. The room was pretty clean-- I am very particular about cleanliness. We did find some stray hairs in the shower/ sheets, but not too much of an issue. The free continental breakfast offered during the week exceeded my expectations, but you must go right when it begins to get the good stuff. We came in for a weekend of tubing and checking out different things around the poconos. The Budget Inn and Suites was extremely convenient located on Route 80, easy on the highway and off. We were within minutes of the ski mountains, shopping and the casino. JR's restaurant was very very good. Awesome service. The owner made it a point to introduce himself to the patrons and asked how things were. The food at the restaurant (JR's) was excellent.

hotel is on good location, very close to hwy, hotel condition is ok, seems like old hotel, not much maintained, needs carpet change...lol the room was ok, the good thing was flat screen tv, bed was too soft, seemed like old bed, no springs or anything, just old. breakfast was nothing compared to others. hotel has covered parking as well

I have stayed here several times over the past couple of years, and have always enjoyed it. The motel is very comfortable, and its great having the restaurant and lounge right on the property.

My family and I stayed here on the way to Great Wolf Lodge to avoid Thanksgiving traffic. It was 1/2 the price of other area hotels, and it was more than a steal...the room was clean, bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. Plus it's no more than 20 minutes from area attractions like Great Wolf, Camelback and other Pocono ski resorts.
