Room was great as was the locationi. A wonderful breakfast that carried us through the day. The only complaint is that the defrost timer on the refrigerator was going out and making a loud ticking sound that echoed through the room. I unplugged the offending refrigerator and that was that. The hotel/motel had a beautiful parklike setting with rose garden. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was better than most restaurants with scramble eggs and waffles. Highly recommend.

The hotel was reasonably priced for the condition and location of it (I think I paid more than normal because of it's proximity to the Fredericksburg Oktoberfest which is why we stayed). It was very easy to find and the rooms were in good, not excellent, condition. The staff, though friendly, seemed a bit disorganized and lacked a sense of professionalism. […] I would recommend this if you are looking for something quick, convenient, and cheap! 더 보기

To be fair it was a busy weekend, but they ran out of Ice and Hot water. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows/sheets have seen better days. The water tasted awful, along with the breakfast. Overall I was very dissatisfied. I should have just camped if I wanted a cold shower, crappy food, and an uncomfortable place to sleep.

This was just a really nice clean hotel. Very well maintained. Office staff was really nice.

We were very happy with the quality of the hotel, considering the low price. The location was very convenient and the room was clean. From the outside, the hotel (actually- a motel), looked pretty dated and ugly. The breakfast was pretty good (waffles, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, cereal, pastries, coffee, and juice.) There is high speed internet […] and an AMAZING BBQ place down the road (Ronnie's.) I never went to the pool, but I noticed that it is open until midnight on the weekends. It was a nice hotel. The service was nice & room was clean and neat. It was near Perednales Falls State Park. It was easy to find.

The hotel was clean and comfortable for my wife and I. A little old and dated but that added some to the charm of the place. My biggest complaint was that area construction workers were using the hotel and they took over the common areas for socializing. We would have loved to sit out on the gazebo but felt uncomfortable with that. Hot water ran out […] fast but that's a nit-pic. I would gladly stay at this hotel again. 더 보기

This hotel was clean and quiet, making for a restful stay. The pool area is conveniently located and surrounded by shrubbery giving you the impression you're in a back yard and not truly surrounded by the asphalt of a hotel parking lot. A BIT PRICEY BUT SUITABLE.

Hotel was clean and room was nice. Only downside was that the bed was pretty uncomfortable.

This is a comfortable quiet hotel which is convenient for a visit to the hill country, Johnson City, and Fredericksburg

This is a great hotel. It's older but has been well maintained and updated. The staff is nice, the complimentary breakfast was abundant and very good. The pool was nice and there is a great grassy area with hammocks and a gazebo, perfect for a barbecue. Dale was great and we met a lot of nice people. There's also a fabulous cafe right next door that […] serves a killer chicken-fried steak. Johnson City is a halfway point between our house and my mom's house and we will be making this hotel our offical halfway stop from now on. 더 보기

Comfortable and affordable. The beds could be softer as they are very firm.

Friendly, helpful staff but the beds have got to go. We had a king and I would have been more comfortable on the floor! The bottom sheet didn't seem to be big enough and came untucked during the night. Pillows were of poor quality as well. Overall, for the price and if you're not planning a lengthy stay, I would recommend this motel.
