Hotel is clearly targeting business customers. However, they only have LAN internet in the rooms (surcharge), and even in the lobby and restaurant you have to purchase a card for wi fi access. Very OK hotel extremely close to everything, hauptbahnhof, city, shopping, etc. Very nice staff. Good price. We had smoking-room 2.floor.

Overall ok. Central and pretty good price. No free internet at the reception and an expensive breakfast (you pay €3.10 across the street) pull down this review...

I have stayed at this hotel several times coming from the airport - where the location of this hotel next to the Central station is very convenient. The hotel is quite modern and the rooms decent sized. The only disadvantage is that you have to pay for the internet and no wireless internet is available.

Excellent staff really looked after us, rooms were great & it was in a good central location just over the road from the central station

The hotel was clean and comfortable with a decent breakfast and a good evening restaurant. Reception staff were very helpful, transferring us to a different room when ours was too hot from sun exposure.

You'd think a hotel next to the main station would be set up for business travel,it's not. No wi-fi in the room and 14 Euros to get access which then didn't work. It's not their setup so there's nothing they can do to help.Single beds pushed together make a 'double' and an overzealous cleaner who likes to match into the room first thing in the morning […] without knocking and then repeats this action about once every two hours adding sour looks and tutting until you take the hint and vacate the room. Perfect hotel next to the Main train station in Hamburg. Nice and clean rooms and friendly staff. Very good value for money. Only missed the Christmas chocolate on the pillows that used to be there last year.

The carpet in this room had major stains, and the wall had a large crack with peeling paint. The ventilation system was continuous and somewhat loud. Now, if you're the kind of traveler who cares a great deal about the luxuries and offerings of your hotel stay, I would have to say that InterCityHotel Hamburg Hauptbahnhof would probably not be for you. But, if you're like me and seek only a comfortable, clean, efficient and relaxing room to kick back in after a full day of exploring a fabulous city, and a well-stocked mini-fridge, then this is definitely the hotel for you. European efficiency at its best. The hotel staff is extraordinarily friendly and inviting, and didn't make me feel intimidated because I couldn't speak the language. The restaurant attached to the hotel looked quite elegant but we didn't have an opportunity to eat there. I would suggest this hotel to anyone who is looking for an ideally situated place to rest up before heading back out to venture through Hamburg, especially if you're traveling by train. You can go from the airport, directly to the Hauptbahnhof, and then just cross the street to the hotel. Hamburg is an incredible city and I simply fell in love with it. Leider bekam ich ein Raucherzimmer, obwohl Nichtraucher bestellt. Da konnte auch der Raumspray nach meiner Urgenz nur wenig helfen. Gestank nach kaltem Rauch für einen Nichtraucher inakzeptabel. Hat natürlich den sonst guten Gesamteindruck ins Negative gekehrt.

ideal zentral gelegen, viele Ziele per Fuß zu erreichen

Siisti, asiallinen, turvallinen hotelli, ja kaupan päälle loistava sijainti pääostoskadun ja päärautatieaseman kupeessa. Aamiainen 15€/naama tuntui hintavalta, lähistön kuppiloista leivän ja kahvin sai viitosella. Kiva lisäbonus oli hintaan sisältynyt joukkoliikennelippu, joka oli voimassa koko visiitin ajan.

InterCityHotel Hamburg Hauptbahnhof er et hotell vi har benyttet oss av flere ganger, og vi er like fornøyde hver gang. God service, sentral beliggenhet, reint og fint rom, og fornuftig priset. En god ide å gi gratis dagspass til tog og buss som en del av oppholspakken. Vi har bare positive ting å si om dette hotellet.

Kindly new hotel next to main station. You just walk down 3 minutes. Room size just nice. You do not have to book breakfast - good option is the bakery store Schanzen Baeckerei with seating area on opposite side. Big coffee mug 1.50EUR and a nice cinamon roll (Franz Broetchen) 0.75EUR. Empfehlenswertes Hotel. Nette Zimmer, sauer, freundliches Personal. Sehr zentral gelegen. Sehenswürdikeiten sind auch zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders für uns Frauen: die Shoppingmeile ist fußläufig zu erreichen : ) . Gegenüber ist der HBF von dort sind die Haltestellen für Stadtrundfahrten und alle anderen Verkehrsverbindungen.

Ich habe dasHotel wegen seiner günstigen Lage (direkt an der U-Bahn/ Hbf) und des günstigen Preises ausgewählt. Für diesen Zweck war es durchaus ok. Allerdings liegt es direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Strasse und ist daher nachts ziemlich laut. Vor den Fenstern war ein zusätzliche Scheibe angebracht, das sollte wohl gegen den Lärm helfen. war beim Lüften […] aber eher etwas störend. Die Einzelzimmer sind sehr klein. Das Frühstück mit 15,-Euro total überteuert, das ist es definitiv nicht wert. Das Personal ist aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. 더 보기

Es ist ein gutes Hotel mit guter Schallisolieriung.Man hört von den Nachbarn und der Stadt fast nichts. Zum Hauptbahnhof geht man ca. 3 Minuten. Was mir sehr gut gefallen hat waren die Freikarten für die U u- S-Bahn. Hätte man mich darauf hingewiesen hätten wir nicht selber welche gekauft.

De ligging is uitstekend. Restaurant was steeds LEEG, zodat we elders gingen eten; ook ontbijt buiten hotel. We hadden graag 'savonds in hotel-restaurant willen eten.

Das Intersity Hotel am Hauptbahnhof liegt für Stadtausflüge sehr verkehrsgünstig. Es kann fast alles zu Fuss oder per S-oder U-Bahn erreicht werden. Lediglich bei geöffnetem Fenster zur Straßenseite ist es Nachts etwas laut. Der Service und die Sauberkeit des Hotels waren sehr gut. Le seul avantage de cet hotel est d'être proche de la gare (5min à pieds). Les chambres sont correctes mais ce n'est en aucun cas un 4 étoiles. La télé est minuscule. L'ascenseur fonctionne très mal, nous avons passé 10min à l'attendre le jour du départ. Je ne recommanderais pas cet hotel à mes amis.

Sehr gutes und schönes Hotel einzig der Internetzugang sollte gratis sein.

Die Lage des Hotels direkt im Zentrum ist super und man hat bei dem Hotelausweis für die Zeit des Aufenthalts freie Fahrt beim HVV (bus, U- und S- Bahn) wirklich zu empfehlen

ho trovato l'hotel molto soddisfacente in tutto e anche per la vicinanza al centro e alla stazione centrale.

Godt udgangspunkt for storbyferie i Hamborg. Tæt på U banen, S tog og bustur rundt i byen med guide. Vi nød en dejlig pause i solskin på tagterrassen. Et minus, der ikke trådløs internet på hotellet og at man skal betale for at parkere i hotellets kælder.
