가족여행에서 머무르기에 너무 좋은 장소입니다. 워터 슬라이드가 있어서 애들이 너무 재미있게 수영장에서 보냈고, 바로 옆에가 페어윈드 사무실이 있어서 예약하고 스노쿨링 하기에도 너무 좋았습니다.

We stayed at the Sheraton February 10-16 2012 and although they were undergoing major renovations to the front desk area, we did not feel inconvenienced by this. They relocated the front desk and concierge to offices next to the pool. The room was very spacious and clean and comfortable. The lanai was delightful with a nice table and chairs to sit and […] enjoy the view with our morning coffee. The only negative thing I would say is that it was a little noisy. Whenever a door closed on the hallway, it was very loud and echoed through the halls. Also, we had to keep asking the housekeeping staff to leave us more towels. Even though the hotel is located down the road from the main drag in Kona, so we always had to drive into town, it was in a very scenic location. Also there isn't a beach there but the pool is oceanside so you can sit by the pool and enjoy the ocean view which is spectacular. We really enjoyed watching the Manta Rays come up to the hotel at night. They feed in the waters there and it is a destination for many nighttime dive boats. When the boats leave at about 9:00, the Manta Rays move closer to the hotel where you can see them. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. 더 보기

We've gone there every year for the last 5 or so years. Always enjoy the stay and now that we've got a couple of kids, the 3 year old loves the the "kiddie" pool section, maybe he'll brave the big water slide next year. This year they are in the midst of a large renovation of the entrance way, the lobby and one wing of rooms. It would have been nice […] to know this as it was quite a trek to haul all of the family and all of the family stuff to the room. The elevator that was closest to the parking area was blocked from the floor we were on since that wing was ungoing the renovation. It was kind of a big hassle. As for the stay, we enjoyed it as always. One good thing about the renovation was that it was less crowded around the pool area. The weather was beautiful and we saw some whales breaching out front of the pool deck. Staff was pleasant as always. We'll be back again next year. 더 보기

We were at the hotel in January 2012. the staff was very nice. The hotel itself was about eight miles from the town of Kona, had connecting pools, a slide and no beach area. Renovation was being completed on the two top floors.

Loved the hotel--beautiful pool(s), quiet, right on the ocean , lovely room--all the amenities. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We had a garden view room on the 2nd floor, actually a nice view, nice trees right outside the deck, and we could see the ocean. Large outside deck, a bit dirty in the corners. Grounds are immaculate. Hotel is a bit older, has been remodeled, nice big rooms. Enjoyed laying by the pool, very pretty. The entrance to the hotel has an amazing view that gives guests high hopes for the rooms. However, the hotel grounds, outside of the lobby, seem to have had only minor upgrades from their original 1970s design, boasted about on the Sheraton tv channel, that do not live up to the lobby or the idea of a resort. The hotel staff lacked warmth !! The valet service providers made it clear that they would smile only if their service is used !! Breakfast was too expensive at $23 per head ! We ate at lovely places in town for half the price and a huge, sumptuous meal !! Internet was slow and gave trouble disconnecting every now & then !!

Extra fees and parking extremely high

Stayed here for one night with my partner and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the resort facilities are great. The location of the resort is fantastic - close to the main restauarants/shops of Kona and right on the water. Would definitely stay again and wish we had stayed longer.

Enjoyed the hotel. Kept up well, beautiful landscaping. You definately need a car as there is nothing in walking distance. My only complaint is that the pool bar and restaurant close at 5:00 which was way too early!!

The morning buffet was great but the rest of the choices were lacking. When we asked for Gluten Free options they simply said "we don't offer any". Nothing? Really? How about a fruit and cheese plate? You know when you hear that they offer nothing that they are not at all willing to work with you. It was very disappointing. This resort is not in downtown Kona so you will have to drive there. However, it is in a convenient location just south of the city, surrounded by other resorts, and close to a nice strip mall with restaurants and stores. We stayed in an ocean front room and thought it was well worth the extra cost. The grounds and room were nice and well kept and the […] staff was pleasant. There happened to be a lot of children there at the same time we were so the pool was a bit hectic. Also, it seems as though some locals come with their families to enjoy the pool and waterslide. The lobby was remodeled and modern, however, the room did not live up to the expectation. Everything in the room was outdated, the TV was from the 90s, the room itself was from the 70-80s. The hotel had a campaign to go green, so we participated, and opted to have the maid in every 3 days instead of daily because we didn't need to change everything […] daily, however, the maid did not replace any shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc... and I had to call the front desk to request more, which was unusual! The bed was not comfortable, we couldn't sleep at all during the last night there. Very good resort with an amazing swimming pool but lacking of a beach. There are 2 small things I did not like: 1) You need to pay $15 per day as the "resort fee" (includes internet, parking and a free cocktail). Huge complex, great for families, great pool (although I didn't have time to use). However, the tub was clogged big time, no fan in the shower/toilet area (which was separate from the sinks), and dirty towels had been left from the previous stay. The place is huge with large number of rooms. I was more interested in a motel with continental breakfast. I wanted to spend more time outside the hotel. The location was close to the main highway and was convenient to get around.

My wife and I decided to hotel hop on our honeymoon and chose the Sheraton to stay for a night. The hotel was very clean and quiet we were expecting to find a lot of kids because of the amazing pool and water slide but we shared the mega pool with maybe ten other couples. Out of all of the hotels on the west side of the Big Island, this hotel has continued to be our choice when visiting Kona. Great place for kids and they recently added a Teen Center that my 14 & 16 yr old enjoyed. I will definitely come back to this hotel on our next mini-vacation to Kona.

I love this hotel because it's very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great as well right, very close to Kailua-Kona. The pool with the slide is great for kids as well as adults.

I visited the hotel for 2 days on a business trip recently. The pool was really something special. It was part outdoor and part indoor with a huge water slide. Unfortunately the slide had closed by the time I was done working so I missed out on it. The scenery is pretty and they have a night time snorkeling boat that pulls up right outside the resort […] that you can watch from the hotel bar. It was a little bit far from town so you were pretty much tied to the hotel bar if you wanted to have a few drinks without driving. 더 보기

Good place for kids. I booked the place because of the pool, which is nice and big for the kids. The pool tables and ping pong tables are also nice addition. However, my daughter was not able to find her iPod after we came back from our daily trip to the beach. She left it on the bed before we headed out for the day. Too far from everything! Internet access is not good! The restaurants closes early.

We stayed in the Sheraton for two nights at a discounted rate. First, after paying the upcharge for an ocean view we got a room that was an ocean view only if standing in a particular direction, otherwise a hotel view. Second, it is LOUD. It quiets down early, but the concrete walls echo so any noise is amplified. Finally, we had serious issues with […] room service and housekeeping. A request to room service went unanswered for 1.5 hours, and then when I called not to complain, but only to get what we requested, I was forwarded only to a voicemail box. We also requested an extra couple towels that never came. Overall, I can put up with all of this given the extraordinarily low rate we paid, but if we were paying full price it would have been incredibly disappointing. 더 보기

We stayed at the Sheraton keahou for a quick weekend getaway. The grounds, restaurant/bar and pool (very nice I give pool 4.5 stars) are better than average, but the room itself was a little disappointing. Needs updating and our room, located on top floor was a little louder due to the layout of the walkway facing the pool. Not much to say about this hotel (this is not resort eventhough they claim to be). Room was ok, minus some mildew. I didn't like resort fee of $ 15. Room is way overpriced for what it provides. You should be better at Hapuna Prince (if you like perfect beach and quiet gateaway) or King Kamehameha hotel (if you want to be closer to the restaurants and […] town walk). Sheraton Keauhou is in the middle of nowere, no beaches and town is 45 minutes away. enjoyed the stay, staff were friendly, but feel it needs updating in the bathrooms, surprised for this star hotel TV's are very old. but would go back as my son enjoyed the pool slide and the pool is very nice.

Impeccable service. They brought extra towels, pillows, and blankets quickly without question. They made no complaints or extra charges when my wife and I shared a single plate at a poolside barbeque. The valet parking staff were friendly without always seeming to hustle for tips. This was one of our favorite hotels in Hawaii. The room was spacious and the pool was great for kids. We stayed here with our 6 and 8 year old. I felt very relaxed sitting by the pool while they played. There is a sandy walk in area where my 6 year old could stand and the rest of the pool was no deeper than 4 feet so my 8 year old could stand. The only […] negative was the food. We never ate at Kai since it was more formal. The food by the pool was simple yet expensive. The food at Manta Rays was no where near as good as the food we have in Kona just a few miles up the road. Overall the hotel itself was beautiful. It was waterfront and in a great location. My only complaint was that all of the workers (vendors for the jewelry booth outside, bartenders, and waiters) were not friendly at all. The lady that ran the booth was very very rude. She definitely loss a sale with me.

The Sheraton Keauhou Bay seems to be a throw back to the 60's in design, it is open and sprawling a nice pool in the center and for us the best part was the manta ray observation point. While any stay on the Big Island is sure to please, we reside on the Island and booked at the last minute on Hotels.com while also telephoning Sheraton / Starwood Central Reservations. Hotels.com bested the price and central reservations was not able to beat the price. Hotels.com was less expensive. After driving many miles with four children, we collected […] a friend from the airport. Check-in was frustrating as the routine is apparently designed more with tourists in rental cars in mind. Nevertheless, when we arrived at our room we were pleasantly surprised. Hotel staff had placed a toddler bed in the appropriate rooms and the older kids enjoyed the shell necklace left for them. The hotel pool is immaculate, and the children really enjoyed the waterslide and multi-featured play areas. Excellent snorkling is up the road. Prices in the restaurants on-site presume the guest is trapped miles away from other options. Food was good, but room service menu was limited and a bit contradictory on times available. VERY pricey - nearly twenty dollars for a quesadilla. Plus 18% tip, plus taxes, plus delivery charge. And floor to ceiling windows and doors to the balconies, so lots of great light into the room. The balcony doors also have two locks so you feel totally secure. Looked at renting a couple ppv movies but they were three times a regular ental price for 2 and 3 year old movies. Yikes! The pool closes at 6:30 (What?!?) so we never got to try it because we were out each day, but it looked absolutely amazing. I was so disappointed we didn't get to enjoy it. It would be awesome for kids. Didn't see much of the neighbourhood, but it looked nice enough to us.
