Stay in hotel was certainly enjoyable until we had dinner on saturday night,service was terrible a whole hour at least to wait for starters.Staff sidn't seem to understand simple commands .Wine list asked for again never appeared,starters when they did arrive were cold and one arrived after rest of party finished. We had a very good stay. The view from the bay window at breakfast was stunning. The staff were invariably helpful . Minor points - no detail in print or on their intranet on room thermostat control (never did understand when the staff said set to 18 deg to get 21 deg), room service slow in collecting trays with partially eaten food from outside other […] rooms. No maps readily available of adjoining park, which was lovely, though reception kindly printed from Google earth. No map of the rooms in the hotel - however helpful the staff are, if you don't know where you are you can't find reception - we helped a 'lost' couple. No published info on how to reduce volume on combined PC / TV / Radio so turned it off. Room number on phone (320) not the same as on door (321). Bed fine for my wife, but only a board with sprung mattress on it, so for me not perfect. 더 보기

I stayed in this hotel for a wedding. It's absolutely beautiful. I loved wandering around the hotel to get a feel for it and see all the antique furnishings. The grounds are gorgeous and it's not far at all from town. You can walk across the fields to town in about 15 minutes or drive in less than 5. I loved it.

This is a lovely hotel. Our room was spotless. High quality linens but we were disappointed in the towels, quite worn. We would definately recommend this hotel & stay there again. The garden was beautiful.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Nothing was too muh trouble for the staff. Pure luxery.

Lovely location, however our night's stay was spoilt by a noisey Wedding Disco that night. We had 2 rooms, our daughters twin room was excellent in the main building, our double room was a little dated in the hotel's 'Annexe Wing'.

A fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff, service & efficiency were excellent. Rooms were lovely, very spacious. The hotel is beautiful with lovely gardens & a fantastic wonderful spa! It is so lovely & relaxing. Stratford is about 2 miles away so great to pop in to do some shopping & then enjoy a relaxing couple of hours in the spa. Happy days […] . 더 보기

I am surprised that the hotel has not developed this combination further either in web nor in real life
