Loved Longboat Key and Silver Sands. Room was spotless and grouds were pristine! Would definitely stay there again. Great restaurants near by - Dry Dock, Old Rusty Dog and St Armands Circle.

This is a nice place. The room was small but OK. The staff was nice. It is nicely placed on the beach and the pool was nice. It was just nice not really nice, not excellent.

Loved every minute of it. Very clean. Only problem all week was no can opener available. Pool was great and so close to the beach.

Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay here. The grounds were pretty, the beach was clean and the pool was warm.....perfect for New Years Eve!

This was the best ever. the place was great felt like home. Totally fantastic can't wait to go back.

I booked this room for a getaway for me and my wife and in 1 word....disappointing. First, the rooms are at least 200 yards off of the beach, quite a walk. Second, there isn't really anything within walking distance besides a convenience store. If I could do this all over again, I would book at the Hyatt which is only a 100 yards down and WAY BETTER! […] They don't charge for beach chairs, they have an awesome pool and the rooms are top notch. I was so disappointed in this place that we ended up leaving Siesta Key 4 days earlier than planned and booked elsewhere. Save yourself the time and frustration and either book a condo on the beach or choose a WAY nicer place to stay. The village was pretty cool, but the 4 miles it takes to get there is only by cab if you plan to have a few drinks. 더 보기

We really wanted a place right on the beach, NOT across the street, not behind 2 hotels and you have to walk down a path to the beach but RIGHT ON THE BEACH and this place is just that! The area is BEAUTIFUL and there are no other hotels on that stretch of beach so it feels very private! They supply lounge chairs free of charge on the beach, your room […] has everything you can think of (the ceiling fan even had a remote) and there are 2 nice full size propane grills in the pool area for all to use. Also, I have to mention how CLEAN everything is! The room looks like they just redid it and the staff really went out of their way for us. We can't wait to go back! I HIGHLY recommend! 더 보기

My family and I were going to a wedding on Bradenton Beach and needed a nearby place to stay the night. Everything decent and on the beach was booked in Bradento so I chose Silver Sands after seeing good reviews online and only being a few miles from the wedding venue. We were not disappointed! It is a very small and quiet resort right on the beach. […] Our 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious, nicely decorated, and had a fully equipped kitchen. The kids had their choice of the beach or the heated pool which was steps from our screened patio. The office staff was very nice and check-in was hassle free. We only stayed for one night so we did not need or use of any housekeeping services but the room and grounds were very clean. The location was perfect and close to shopping in Sarasota or Bradenton. We were expecting a king size bed but only got a normal double size bed. Way too pricey.The room was so small and the window air conditioner was right on top of the bed. Loud and did not have a thermostat to control room temp.Lighting was terrible as well. Walls very thin. But the beach was great and the pool was fine. The room was very small. I expeceted an efficentcy and it was not. Overpriced. The bed was a double not a queen.

We were only there 2 nights. We got the most basic room, it was small, but I was Amazed at all the amenities they fit into the room. I was very suprised at how clean and updated this place was since it was only rated as 2 stars. I would certainly rate it higher than 2 stars. We stayed in a hotel room for the night and it was extremely clean and looked to be recently renovated. The location was perfect as we were right on the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

I was looking for a place to stay near the beach while visiting the area for work. Silver Sands was a fantastic deal and just what I was looking for to get away from work when I was able. The room was small, but had everything I needed (except washcloths). I would love to take my family back for a vacation.

This is a small, well cared for hideway . It has one of the most beautiful beaches and it is only a few steps from your room. Staff are very accommodating and the grounds are beautiful.

I loved this place. It was the small quiet and restful place I was hoping for. Activities and bars to be found if you desired. Great walks and bike baths all over the island. I would definitely stay here again.
