This hotel has amenities galore that are poorly managed by nonesical employees. If only these employees could just try harder, this hotel could garner a five-star rating. However, poor service is directly related to poor Managers and poor management. Managers at this hotel really sucks!! The maid made the bed with stained sheets, stained bed spreads […] right there in the open...didn't event try to hide it --wow! Horrible. However the Fitness center is top notch, but breakfast was not the best. 더 보기

Nice lobby but rest is worn down. everything is dated and worn. The breakfast was free but third rate food. Free internet was nice. Ok if you must stay one night near the airport but I would not go back if I had a choice.

The ONLY good part of our stay was the beds...and shuttle service!!!...won't be staying there again!!...

The hotel flooded recently....the first floor rooms were properly rejuvenated, however, an overwhelming smell of mold was present in to hall ways. None of the outside lighting on the building works...pretty dark and scary.....and not the easiest place to spot in the dark coming from the airport....maybe a sign or two would help....on the outbound lanes […] from IAH. 더 보기

When we first arrived at the hotel it seemed pretty nice. The lobby was clean and the help desk was able to get us a king size bed instead of the two queen bed room we booked. After the lobby was a different story, it was one run down or broken thing after another. The room had a glass back door leading out to the pool area but had a steel bar bolted […] across because there was no locks on it. After we got to the pool area and seeing what looked like an abandoned skate park filled with water we were afraid to swim in it and we returned to our rooms. A little later we had a stranger walk right into our room because the front desk double booked the room we were in. Then they sent someone to our door who asked us to come to the front desk. At this point I was in my pajamas in for the night. Naively thinking they were going to compensate us for the miss hap I went down to the front desk. When I got there the lady at the desk just asked me if I was in that room. I replied "yes" and she said sorry and then sent me back to my room. Later that night we discovered that our keys worked for every room in the hotel which they told us we must have accidentally received master. The next morning we went for the continental breakfast where I met my brother who said he was woken up at 11:30pm because someone called his room to order room service. This is because every phone in the hotel says "for room service dial 111" which was there room number. The entire experience was less than comfortable and much less than I was expecting. I will do much more reading of reviews on hotels before I book one ever again. 더 보기

Horrible experience! We had five rooms. No air in hallways. Air conditioning in rooms did not work. Bath tub was cracking so pieces were floating during shower. Overall, very negative experience and will not stay there again.

We recently stayed at the Ramada Houston IAH Airport West. This must have been a fine hotel when it opened, but it has been sadly neglected. Our fridge did not work (but was quickly replaced). We had booked for 3 guests but the room only had towels for two. The room safe did not work, and we were told that none of the safes in the hotel were reliable […] and sometimes locked guests' property inside! We were told not to try to use the safe, assuming we ever got it to open. The breakfast was adequate, if you like paper plates and plastic cutlery. There was no hot (only warm) water for making tea. This was not a great experience but it was convenient for returning our car to the airport. 더 보기

The worse hotel. The tub was painted and peeling. The tub resembled a building in the slums that had lead paint peeling. I changed room to another spray painted peeling tub. The AC was loud and never regulated so it stayed on all night. Musty smell in hotel. No AC in gym. No icebucket in room no ice. Bar/Restaurant food was dried out. Mind you I had […] a BURGER. Hotel was good, located near IAH. Problem is that there is no elevator to second floor. Can be a problem with large luggage.

overnight in houston close and comfortable. shower was hot. bed was comfortable. unfortunately Contintental lost my wifes luggage again. so missed last shuttle at midnight. cab was fast and cheap

Rooms were ok. Service was awful. Shuttle driver wasd 1 hour late, didnt open door nor get bags. Drove like a maniac. Hotel desk didnt bother to care if you found your way to room. Faucets in bathroom were broken and other one missing a part. Breakfast was terrible.

Shuttle pick up from airport was quick, driver coureous and professional. Check-in was fast, I asked for a wake up call and shuttle times. Room was neat, clean, everything in place. Tried to order room service, no answer. Went to the dining area,was told by the waitress that she was the only one there(very apologitic) so no delivery. Got a to-go box, […] food was good. Went to take a shower,hair in tub. YUCK!!! BIG THUMBS DOWN! To late at night to change rooms. Did not get wake up call (set my own alarm). Avoid at all costs.

The pictures on the website show a much cleaner, newer, nicer hotel. The room and the lobby smelt like an ashtray. Our room was dingy and dirty, we wouldn't stay here again, even just for one night before a flight.

We stayed overnight at this hotel as our flights required a stopover of 10 hours. It took us so long to get through customs that we were exhausted and glad of the close proximity of this accommodation. It was a comfortable, quiet room and there was a drink and meal available (not that special but okay) - and that met our requirements.

After I found BABY SPIDERS in the bed. I moved rooms and th Desk person was un-caring. The Bar was dirty and out of beer, the mix drinks were steale. The other guest with the big ROACH was upset also. I was in the area for a job interview. so much for a good night sleep

Everyone was very helpful and had great customer relations. The shuttle driver was very polite and was prompt to get me where I needed to go in a timely manner.

Great hotel for overnight stay before flight. Close to airport and there is a shuttle service. I will stay here whenever I am passing through Houston

The bellman was very nice. Front Desk staff was just there. Window was ajar and unable to close which was scary at night. Dead roach under sink. Bed was squeaky and old. Had to kill a big mosquito. All highway in front. Only burger king in gas station is walkable. Breakfast was weak.

Lobby was good but looks are deceiving. However, the actual room had little to be desired. The bathroom towel had a large brown spot. The toilet tank had a broken piece in the front. A/C was struggling to operate. The TV could not be watched because of the bad snowy reception on majority of channels. Planes were loud because hotel was so close. I stay […] at plenty of hotels around the country & the Breakfast was the worst ever (nothing to be desired & so I could only trust the box of cereal cuz the fruit appeared bad). I stayed here for one night during a break in a connecting flight. Great place to get a rest. The staff were lovely, really clean place, and the bed was so comfortable. The shuttle service is also really handy to and from the airport. I didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. Definitely recommend this hotel

Our family would stay again if we were flying out of Houston.

I have stayed here before and will come again. The close location to IAH airport and the affordable rate of this hotel are very attractive. It is not the most modern hotel, but everything is functional. Staff is friendly. I have no complaints.

The rooms were okay, the sliding glass doors have all been rigged where they don't open now. But otherwise the rooms were okay and were comfortable. The lobby area is really nice. We did not go swimming, but the pool water looked green and it did not look real clean. The breakfast was okay-good eggs, sausage, bagels, fruit, juice, oatmeal. Overalll […] okay place. 더 보기

I was a little concerned after I had read all the negative reviews about this hotel. Fortunately, it was not as bad as expected. Some of the common areas were not super clean, but the room was comfortable and definitely livable. For the price, I would stay there again.

This hotel is great if you have a very early flight from IAH. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they had trouble with their air conditioning and getting room keys to work.

We arrived to IAH after a 15 hour flight. We called the hotel and asked for their courtesy shuttle to please pick us up. They assured me that someone would be there in 20 minutes. Fine. No big deal. After 30 minutes we called back. The gentleman on the phone was surprised we hadn't been picked up and assured us the driver would be there in 5 minutes. […] 20 minutes later we decided to take a taxi. Upon arrival when I told him that we waited for 50 minutes and their driver never showed, he told me it was MY fault for being in the wrong place. EXCUSE ME? I have NEVER been to the IAH airport before AND I was standing under the sign that said Courtesy Hotel Shuttles Only outside Terminal E as instructed by the Info booth person AND the man on the phone!!! Where else was I supposed to stand?? The lobby was lovely- recently remolded. The restaurant was fine- service great and food was tasty. The room was decent, clean. However- our room was very old. We felt unsafe. We were on the first floor and there was a sliding glass door separating us from the parking lot. It was 'bolted' shut and we couldn't open it however we felt very vulnerable. It would have been VERY easy for an intruder to break in. Avoid the Ramada if possible. There are MANY other hotels close to this airport. 더 보기

Very cheap with a very comfortable bed. Wish I had time to try out the spa. Good place to stay if need to catch an early flight, only a 5-10 minute drive to airport. Two minor problems, someone had set the clocks in each of our rooms an hour early and we didn't realize until we turned up for breakfast and it wasn't set up. It appears the hotel was built three decades ago as a conference center and looks like the seventies in decor. The hotel is hard to find at night even though it is on a main road to the airport. The breakfast is adequate, not great.

The desk person was accomodating and pleasant, and the hotel's proximity to IAH was convenient. That's about all I can think of in terms of the positives. Their "business center" was tiny, the ac did not work properly and the printers did not work. On a positive note though, the desk person allowed me to use a back office to print my boarding pass. […] The room's amenities were dated and the carpet was stained and needed to be steam cleaned. Hotel says it is dog friendly but they charge a $100 pet fee per dog, that is not being dog friendly. The condition of the hotel was poor and unclean. There was no security, the side door that was meant to only be an exit was always propped open with a rock so anyone could come and go as they please. The hotel staff was rude and unhelpful. The staff in nice enough. The room we stayed in smelled like mold and old cigarettes. They have remodeled the front area and it is beautiful. The pool area looks terrible. The water in the pool was green, and we noticed all the water features are dry. It makes for a very drab site to look at. I got up at 5:30 in the morning to catch an early morning flight and there was no water in the hotel! When I complained to thew front desk, I was offered an apology, but nothing else. They took my name and phone number and I have not heard from anyone since. Never again!!!
