Let me keep this short - don't stay there for any reason at any time. To say the place is filthy would be kind. It appears the owner has not spent a dollar on maintenance in 20 years. Ignore my comments and you will regret it!

Locking bolt jammed the first morning.. and I was locked IN the room. Ended up having to climb out of the window, bruising my leg badly. Bed very uncomfortable... woke up 2nd night with bites. Don't know what it was. Didn't see bed bugs but I was bitten four times on my face and arms. Will not go back, will not reccomend.

Not worth the cheaper rate, having to worry about linens, towels, etc. TV didn't work well and room was dingy.

The room was dirty didn't look like the sheets were clean as well as dirty towles in the bathroom when I showed up. Maids did not make the beds as well as the beds were not comfortable. Hotel was in a run down part of town. I would not stay here if you can help it. Very bad experience

sheets were clean but bugs, not bed bugs but I found two roaches and about eight or nine other little brown bugs. Other guests that were in our group noticed the same. Served it's purpose as we were not in the room much but we will not be returning.

motel management was hard to find. room was clean and convenient. woke up in middle of night went bathroom---roaches! only in bathroom( i think).

I stayed here this past Irish weekend and this place was a much better hotel than the one I had stayed at 2 years ago. It was cleaner and nicer all around. The only complaint I would have is that the room didn't have a phone to call the front desk if you needed anything. The Knolls Motel was very old and nothing was up-to-date in the room. There were stains on the sheets. The location is great but hotel definitely needs upgrading.

To be completely honest our stay here was not what was expected, the help at the front desk was everything but approachable, he was very rude and unfriendly. The room was just clean enough to sleep in, we wouldn't even walk barefoot because the carpet was so filthy, the beds were not comfortable and the sheets had cigarette burns in them. This hotel was a HUGE disappointment! The only positive ascpect was it was very close to the beach and boardwalk. The customer service was terrible. They were so incredibly rude and offered little help about surrounding attractions! The rooms were less than acceptable! The sheets were stained and the rooms smelled of strong cleaners and were musty! […] To top it all off, we accidently left my brand new running shoes behind and when we called to inform them and try to get them back, they said they were never found. Which means one of 2 things, the housekeeping staff doesn't clean under the beds OR the housekeeping staff has a brand new pair (worn 2 times) of $140.00 running shoes! UGH! The hotel was very convenient to the boardwalk, however the beds were very hard. The pool was not heated and very cold. Thought the rooms were expensive for the quality.

NO BED BUG:S the room was clean.

Everything about the hotel inside was discusting.I could not even take a shower for 2 days because the hotel was so dirty ect.....

Overall the motel was good. Our family and a couple others booked at this motel. All the rooms are exceptionally clean. The pool was great . The location is right across the street from Rite Aid and a 5min walking distance to the beach and broadwalk . The only thing I would say that was bad was that the rooms were pretty small and a bit cramped.

It was okay for us - we only stayed two nts, but a week no way. The pool was good - no breakfast, but very close to the beach.

Room was clean but smelled. Smell went away with the air conditioner on, but came back if it was turned off. Everything is very old. Great location. Hotel is ok for a short stay when you just need a bed & shower.

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The guy that checks you in is unacceptably rude, the rooms smell like a basement that has just been cleaned up from a flood. The beds were also horrible. It probably would of been more comfortable sleeping on the floor. If anyone reads this take my advice when I say STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Ice machine broken all week ,Tub did not drain ,.Coffee pot without coffee , no screen in bath window, mattresses shot ,Smoke alarm sounding every 60 seconds in the complex . It seems to me that all they want to do is take money , not spend money . The Manager talks a good talk , but nothing happens .

I read reviews prior to going and was a little concerned. We were in a pinch after finding out our reservation wasn't confirmed at another motel which we always stay. Although the room cost more and was small, it was clean and served its purpose. Definitely no luxury but the location was great.

the ONLY good thing about this motel was the location. The shower was a death trap, almost broke my neck in it. Also considered not showering at all from the extremeley loud screaching of the pipes when the shower was turned on. From the moment of TRYING to check in was a hassle. The front door was locked and had to wait fifteen minutes for the manager […] to unlock the office door to let us in. All he did was turn the lock and walk away. Didn't even appologize for the wait. But the WORST part was the parking. It's a miracle I didnt his another car in the driveway they call a "parking lot". It would only be suitable for a one night stay. They hotel was ok. But for the price .I can not believe they charge for ice and internet. That is wrong. I won't stay there again because of that.

first of all the power button on tv didnt always work the tv was from 1985 the draws in the room some were dirty from previous people staying there. there was also a night where i parked my car on the street not enough parking spaces and had to wake up 7 45 am to start feeding the meter you also have to give a key deposit ! also my door to room wasnt […] safe i felt it was easily opened if a robber wanted to listen please dont stay here and i cant believe hotels .com gives this place two stars its a one star hotel with very uncomfy beds tiny rooms a nightmare 더 보기

No phone, no clock, not even a bible. Yet, they have wifi in the rooms, go figure. Thank god I brought my cell phone. Bed felt like a cardboard box on springs. Our neighbors asked us where they could score drugs. Definitely would not bring a family here.

I would find it are to belevie that there is a worst hotel in wildwood NJ. Oscer the grouch sleeps in a better room. It was dirty bAnged up small and the man was rude as I checked in. Wildwood is a great place but this place has no business in it. If u have to stay here stay out of wildwood. And I love wildwood.

It was nice to stay at a place that is so close to beach and many other attractions. Staff at hotel were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. On the other hand, the mattresses were shot! The air conditioning was not a big enough unit to keep room comfortable.

Dirty

The price for a two-weeknight stay was good from booking on hotels.com. The room was small, but comfortable enough for a two-night stay. We learned the carpets had just been cleaned. Some fixtures are in need of replacing, but for a cheap(ish) stay close to the boeardwalk, I really can't complain. The manager was friendly and helpful. Tiny parking lot, […] but we had no problems parking. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean. Honestly, I don't know the other Wildwood motels - but I saw that they all get mixed reviews, so this was my best bet for the money. 더 보기

This motel fit nicely with the 50s style motel theme of Wildwood. Rooms were a bit small but clean. Location was great - 1 block from the boardwalk. Management was very nice. Pool was clean. This motel did not have a 3 night minimum stay requirement which was why we chose this place over others.

The manager on duty was unbelievably rude to us, including screaming at me in front of my kids because I didn't park where he wanted me to. The parking situation is very difficult. It is INCREDIBLY noisy at night until midnight. This is not a great place to take younger children or anyone that needs sleep. Motel was clean & comfortable enough, only 2 blocks from Boardwalk & beach; Diner & other eating places close by, Drugstore & Liquor store across the street, what else do you need?

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. Didn't even spend the night. We checked out a few hours after arrival. The room was bad (looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while), hotel staff not helpful (I wanted to reach a guest in another room and the front desk wouldn't call. I stood here on my first trip to Wild Wood with my children. This Hotel was not bad in price and was located in an excellent spot. You had the Pharmacy across the street where you can buy everything, the boardwalk a block away and parking space. We parked our car on day 1 and didnt need to move it during our entire trip because everything we needed […] was in walking distance. Jeff the Manager there was awesome and was available for any questions and recomendations. I enjoyed my stay at this Hotel and so did my kids, which was my main concern. They loved the pool. 더 보기

When we got our room a strange smell greeted us as if the room was closed for years. We stayed in this hotel for 2 days, the room service never knocked at our door even for towel change. The wireless was supposed to be complementary according to hotels.com but not according to hotel management. The rumors about roaches is true. The location of this […] hotel is great. This hotel is located only a block away from boardwalk and access to beach. There is rite-aid located next to this property so if you forget to bring some essential like tooth brush or tooth paste you just need to go next door. The room has microwave and a small refrigerator which is useful. The bathroom and hot water is ancient. Don't be surprised if don't get hot water at all. There was no soap at all in bathroom. THIS PLACE IS A MESS IT IS FULL OF ROACHES.. THE BATHROOM SINK HAD A BUCKET OF STANKIN WATER UNDER IT BECAUSE THE SINK LEAKS.THIS PLACE IS SO OLD IT NEEDS A MAKEOVER BAD. Hotel room was a bit small but clean (enough) for the price and the location. Would recommend for a short stay.

I was just looking for a room to stay and didn't need anything fancy. It was a very good rate compared to the others and the location was close to the beach. I arrived at 11PM and was informed that during the off season the office normally closes at 10PM, just thought it should have been noted somewhere. The room seemed nice enough and had a decent […] TV, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. However, I did not notice an alarm clock or a telephone. My main issue though was that the window directly in front of the bathroom was not frosted and had absolutely NO CURTAIN! This window did not look out into space but over the pool about 30 feet onto the outside hallway to about a dozen other rooms. I just don't think you should have to worry about being covered up when you're in your own hotel room! 더 보기
