great value! Kids enjoyed their stay.

Thank you for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed being able to keep our pets with us. The location was great, and so was the pool. We also liked the breakfast. We have stayed here several times and plan to return.

The only reason I gave a 4 for the condition/maintenance of the hotel was due to the outside grounds. The areas that did have bushes/trees for my dog also had a lot trash, so it was difficult to walk him around it. I must point out, these are the areas in the back edge of the hotel property, not the areas that guests would typically be around, those […] were fine. I should also point out that the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I arrived a lot earlier than anticipated and they were quick to find a room for me to check in early. The hotel was pretty nice, pool and hot tub were clean. Staff let us stay in extra after hot tub was closed, and much appreciated. However, four displaced section 8 families were staying there and made the relaxation time not so relaxing. I was not happy about paying decent money to relax for a couple days and have to deal with obnoxious behaviors. […] Positives: make your own waffles available for the continental breakfast, take-out across the street, lots of parking, flat screen t.v in room, lowest pet per day charge that I found. 더 보기

Our stay was in February 2012, linens were clean, towels fresh, pool and hot tub clean, and staff was pleasant, housekeepers kept the room clean and provided fresh towels each day. Dogs are allowed, and I was pleasantly surprised that they did not disturb us at all with barking or uncleanliness. The only complaint we have is that since breakfast is […] provided in the cost, they need to have someone available to restock items that are out. Many items would be out for anywhere from 15-30 minutes. Not good. The fresh pastries and muffins featured in their directory is not what is served - everything is prepackaged. The waffle maker is a great hit - they just need to keep the batter filled so people can use it. Overall, pretty good value for the price, and very convenient to beaches and all surrounding towns - it's right on the main route with many other retail shops and very safe. 더 보기

We were looking forward for this trip down the Cape for a few weeks. We chose this hotel for its location and price. The room was supposed to be smoke free, however we found a few cigerette buts in a glass on the night stand. We were offered a new room but did not accept since the room did not smell like cigerette smoke. However, the room was supposed […] to be smoke free and it was supposed to be cleared thouroughly before we checked in. The beds were so hard and we could feel all the springs in the mattress, we could barely sleep. If we did fall asleep we were woken up by the heating system making very loud clanking noises. We were told that the beds were new but with new beds you can not feel the coils. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. 더 보기

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in February 2012 and were very satisfied with our accomodations. Our only issues were the "queen" beds were very small and the bathroom was a bit small as well. Otherwise, we were happy with our stay and would definitely go here again.

I was in the area trying to purchase a house and needed a hotel for several days. The Ambassador turned out to be very acceptable for my needs. The complimentary breakfast was really nice and very convenient for me. The hotel was clean, the staff were very polite, and they put a new flat-screen TV in my room while I was there! The hotel was a good experience for just staying there while doing other things in town. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The overall condition of the hotel is on the downhill. There were two neatly folded clean towels on the floor of my room (I guess it was […] wet underneath? I was afraid to look). The towels remained there all weekend. That did not bother me, just strange. There are very few channels on the TV but they did have HBO and free internet! Last weekend we wanted to get away for a nice weekend and we stayed at the Ambassador Hotel and had a great time! The room was very cold, It was not like they were expecting us. We made resevations ahead of time.

This is my second time staying there and for the price I have paid it has been great. Contintal breakfast free and with a little bit of everything my kids favorite waffles. Pool,whirlpool and sauna all in perfect temps. Definitely coming back next time I go down the Cape.

Any pet friendly hotel is great by me. The only problem was when we upgraded to a King Matteress by phone that afternoon and then arrived at the hotel, the clerk (manager's daughter) was very surley because we had a pet so she put us in one of 3 rooms with no outside window... nice view of the indoor pool. We stayed at the Ambassador for a weekend and brought our elderly golden retriever with us. We found the accommodations to be comfortable and very convenient, our room being close to an exit so we could easily walk our dog outside. The room was clean and had the convenience of WiFi, something we can't seem to live without anymore. Next time we go to […] the Cape for a weekend, we will surely stay at the Ambassador, but we will bring our bathing suits, as that hot tub looked very inviting. Last minute accomodations due to funeral services in the area. A very pleasant accomodation. Clean, comfortable, nicely located, favorable rate, and cheerful service. A haven during a gathering storm.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights attending a wedding in the area and I happen to be pregnant, the beds were very uncomfortable (even for my non-pregnant husband). My ribs were killing me and my husband's arm would fall asleep if he laid on his side. The cost is outrageous, but not for the area. You may want to request a room away from the entrance which happens to be the smoking area if that kind of thing bothers you and you want to have the window open. Breakfast was typical, but they use styrofoam and plastic everything (not earth friendly in the least) I'm pretty tolerant of coffee, but this was pretty bad, we found coffee elsewhere. 더 보기

Went down for a weekend with my family and we had a great time...we were very close to everything we planned to do and even found time to enjoy the pools. no restaurant in the hotel however they do have a self serve breakfast available.

Upon arrival our check-in was easy and fast for the group, but one we got to our rooms there was a strange musty smell. We had opened up the windows, turned on the AC and left to go to dinner. It was apparent no-one has been in these rooms for quite sometime. It was quiet at night and there are a couple of great little restaurants within walking distance. […] We had to leave each morning before the served their breakfast. It looked ok, but I wasn't able to try it. The bathroom was nice and clean but it would be a tight fit for a large person. Would I go back? Maybe. nice to see a pet friendly hotel that doesn't discriminate against cats. People get allergies from dogs but for some reason most won't take cats? These guys do.

Location to nearby activities & restaurants very good. Bathrooms are really too small and in much need of renovation. Hotel staff were all good.

The breakfast: Excellent. The indoor pool: Phenominal. The service: done with a smile. Overall a great place to stay. Very clean. The outdoor pool was tiny though, and the beds were not the comfiest but they worked. A great place to stay. Centrally located, short drive to Nantucket Sound beaches, 36 minutes to Atlantic Beaches.

I realize Cape prices mid-summer are crazy, but I felt the price was definitely too high for the condition of the hotel.

You will be a kindly welcomed but will soon discover everything is falling apart. Has an arcade, indoor pool, very kind service personnel, random pet stenches. Must keep AC on to minimize bad smell. We really liked this hotel. Professionally managed, clean rooms, good service. Unfortunately, there was nothing to do in South Yarmouth Cape Cod and trying to travel the main roads during summer season is like rush hour in New York City.

this hotel was very clean and the staff very nice and attentive. The long low back area where we were was a little shabby on the outside, and i felt it was pricey for the look of it . The breakfast was not generous, considering the price. It backs up on a cemetery, and was therefore quiet. It has a pool in and out, and kids love that.

really nice hotel near nice restaurants good free breakfast really nice pools and hot tub, toilet ran all night long, told front desk of issue right after we checked in, no one came to look at it, ended up shutting off the water to the toilet myself.

I was not happy with this hotel . There is a backdoor to this hotel where our room was and it was never locked and garbage was always left around. No cameras located so front desk can keep an I on things. The front entrance should also be kept clean on a regular basis.

Stayed one night for a nearby wedding . Good spot, nice pools, clean room, nice bathroom. Fair price for Cape in the summer.

Nice hotel, clean room, comfortable bed. Found Reception staff helpful and friendly. For breakfast choice was good. Overall, very happy with our stay and would use hotel again.

I stayed one night and thought the bathroom was extremely tight. All in all I was satisfied with the room, personnel and the price.

the biggest compaint i have regarding the room I was in was the oder, it smelt like old wet socks and that the bathrooms are very small...

Located close to lots of activities; i.e. swimming, boating, golf, great restaurants, and Rte 6-Mid Cape Highway. Also has beautiful indoor/outdoor pools. Hotel rooms very clean, great free breakfast, pet friendly, very accommodating staff. Average middle class hotel with a very good breakfast. Quiet hotel near the mainroad. On our arrival home we discovered, though, that we have been charged an extra amount of money which we have not been informed why.

I will not be reccomending this hotel chain to anyone....

I booked this hotel last minute for a great price. To my suprise, it was extremely nice. The room was ready (almost 2 hours early) for checkin. The women at the front desk was extremely friendly letting us know. The room/ bathroom, as well as the pool was extremely clean as well. I will definately be back.

There wasn't much to like about this hotel. The front desk staff was not helpful, at certain points rude and condescending . Every morning our key stopped working and the staff said it was my fault for having the key in my wallet. They called as I was sight seeing to ask why I didn't remove my belongings when I was booked through the next morning without […] bothering to double check the reservation. Cool Pet Friendly Environment. Cool Outdoor and Indoor swimming pools. Cool Whirlpool. Cool continental breakfast. Super small bathroom.

We had our puppy with us and this is few of the hotel allow us to bring dog. I won't recommend the hotel if I don't have my puppy with me. It is quite a stinky hotel after all.

Quiet, very clean, friendly staff, worth the money!
