Stayed here with my girlfriend for a quick overnight getaway...wished we could have spent more time. Great price and scenery...recommend it highly!

Beautiful location at 7600', base of ski hill, but a long way from the town in the valley. There was a free shuttle bus which was helpful. Great view of the Valley to the East. We enjoyed the drive around Lake Tahoe and our time in Carson and Virginia City. We would have liked another chair in our room.

Nice room and views. Good value for the money. Little noisy due to thin doors to adjacent room. Nice jacuzzi tub and fireplace. A little remote but worth the drive.

Room was awesome - the condition, the view, proximity to ski lift; will definitely return.

I stayed in the Tower building and the rooms are outfitted very well, with a gas fireplace, comfy bed and great view of the Carson City Valley. Although the hotel was not very full, my room was next to a guy who was talking loudly on his phone and it was like he was in with me. I notifed the front desk and they quickly moved me. Like other reviews on […] Hotels.com, the room was quite warm and there was no temperature control to adjust. I ended up sleeping with two windows open, but I would imagine it would be miserable if the windows could not have been opened to cool of the room. Had it not been for the "thin walls" and the temp control issue, I could have given it a 5 rating. 더 보기

Beautifully remodeled spacious rooms. Loved the fully loaded kitchen and washer and dryer. My kids loved the pool and spa and the hot tub right outside our room!

Overall great accomadations for a small price! Loved it and will stay here again!

Service at the hotel was amazing everyone was very friendly and willing to help you have a great trip they gave us tons of ideas on what to do while in Tahoe and coupons for things in the area. The view was beautiful and the suite was huge. the only thing that was an inconvinience was that it is kinda far from the main streets of tahoe. but other then […] that the hotel was great. My wife and I were pleasantly impressed with the hotel and location. The hotel is basically built on the top of a mountain peak...which is cool if you like privacy and nice views. The room we stayed in was a standard one room suite and was very large...even four my family of four (two adults and two kids). The room had a full kitchen...full size refrigerator, […] stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc. Big screen TV with DVD player. My kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. It was really cold outside. We took the free hotel shuttle from our building to the club house to swim in the pool. Very nice to have indoor pool option for kids when freezing cold outside. The hotel was really quiet. Far exceeded our expectations for price the price we paid. One cool thing.. the stage coach ski run at Heavenly runds right next to the hotel and you can buy tickets right at the bottom of the run...so you don't have to run to town to go to the resort...can just jump on right next to hotel. 더 보기

This is a fabulous place to stay in the South Lake Tahoe area. Free shuttle to town, huge hot tub and modern rooms. I'll be staying here again!!

Perfect for weekend ski trips heavenly lift walking distance from your room

For a hotel that bills itself as a family friendly destination, this hotel was a let down. When asked about late checkout i.e. 11 am or so instead of the usual 10 am checkout, we were informed that we would be charged $20 for every hour after 10 am. The rooms may have been nicely appointed when built, but are long overdue for a remodel. The TV is a small, old-school CRT model. The 'sleep number' adjustable bed didn't work at all, and was hard as a brick. The bathroom was well laid-out, but lacked basic amenities like shampoo. There was a 2-cup coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or filters. […] Our room had a view to the parking lot, though rooms on the other side of the building had a spectacular view to the Carson Valley. 더 보기

We stayed at the Ridge for two nights and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Our room was very clean and had great amenities. Hotel service was also great. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be revisiting for future trips to South Tahoe.

Second time staying in this hotel due to the fact that you have direct access to Heavnely Ski Resorts 'StageCoach' chairlift / lodge. My wife and three kids stayed in the Plaza Tower two bedroom w/ kitchenette & living room w/ fold out bed. It was more than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and feel comfortable in. The finish in the […] room was above average, at least in the Plaza Tower. The first two bedroom I stayed in was not as nice but it was in a different tower and was over a year ago so maybe they remodeled since, or some towers have better finishes than others. 더 보기

Stunning view, 100 meters from the ski lift at Heavenly. Nice restaurant, nice sleeping rooms. We were there for only one night in winter, so can't comment on other amenities. The entrance driveway is very steep, which is a challenge when snow covered, but they have a shuttle bus.

It was the best hotel I've been in Tahoe. The best!

our family really enjoy the children's activities/ classes and the proximity to the slope

I did not know what to expect from The Ridge but I was very happy with it. The room had 'sleep number' bed, jacuzzi tub, working fireplace. Also the resort offered many things to do including racquetball courts, indoor and outdoor tennis courts and swimming pools. There was also a rail car taking you 'down' to the ski lifts on Heavenly mountain. One […] word of warning, make sure you have the route to the hotel mapped out and you know where to go. As this was a really last minute trip on a holiday weekend, I can not complain much. This is a gorgeous facility with breathtaking views of the Sierras on one side and the Minden - Gardnerville Valley on the other. The facility its self is exceptionally well maintained. My only complaints was that the room we had was about the size of a large postage […] stamp. There was a refridgerator, coffee maker, and small microwave in the room as well as a full compliment of dishes. I was especially please to find a wine opener on the drawer. Man must have wine!! For those that want to go into the casino area or out for dinner, there is a convenient shuttle service that goes down the hill at no cost. This was a lovely weekend and a beautiful place to stay. Great Place with excellent Service, Only Inconvenience The Restaurant Closed a little too early.

We stayed on the 1st floor of the 'Terrace' hotel structure. We were initially disappointed getting the 1st floor, but we still got a decent view of a mountain since the hotel is located on somewhat of a cliff. All in all, it was kind of nice being a bit away from the downtown area. Plus, casinos weren't our thing. Our room was pretty nice - a queen […] bed (sleep number bed!) with a small kitchen sink + microwave + coffee maker. It was nice having 2 sinks in the bathroom which had a decent sized tub. It was quaint and home-y with a few bear themed decorations. The TV was sad and small however. After a day of snowboarding we relaxed in the hot tub (which was on the lukewarm side) and the dry sauna, both of which were indoors in our hotel building. We didn't use the shuttle bus that takes visitors to some of the lifts, but we saw plenty of people using them. 더 보기

This was the very first time we decided to stay in Tahoe, and we are very Happy we selected this hotel for our Stay, is nice and we felt right at home. We will stay again at the Ridge Tahoe any time.

Great hotel. Great location. The only issue we had is the Hotel's total unwillingness to budge one bit from a 10am check out. They would not give us even an hour. And of course being in Lake Tahoe, we were up very late. I also was billed an extra $50 on my credit card for what I assume was parking, but we were never told of a $25 per day parking fee, […] which was a bit disappointing. The hotel was very upscale and convinently located. The price was also very good considering the quality of the accomdations. The TV and Internet service to be upgrade. Free WiFi should not even be a question it's 2012 not 1999.

This is my favorite hotel in Tahoe area and I strongly recommend.

Awesome property…. The Ridge is a wonderful place to stay with or without children. They offer excellent rooms with wonderful furnishings. Tons of amenities – too many to list. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Ridge… It is truly a four-seasons resort.

The resort area is very nice, room clean, quiet, with comfortable bed (sleep adjust!) - we were in the Plaza Building. Had an awesome time and will definately consider staying at The Ridge again.

We were very surprised at how spacious and beautiful our room was. Only negatives were the shower head wasn't fasten to the wall and there was no way to have it held up so you had to do a hand shower. The next negative was there was no coffee in the room or small things such as hand lotion and shampoos. The outside hot tub had plexi glass on 3 sides […] of the the tub to protect from the wind...the wind came in on the four side... Other than that it was a beautiful place amazing views and so peaceful. 더 보기

Very very nice Hotel, kind people, good location, a little far from town but beautifull view and landscapes, lots of things to do. The room was very comfortable, bathroom too. Stay there if you can! will be such a good experience.
