Yet again another great stay at the villiage hotel in Walsall. The comfort of the beds are very good although this time around was just a little bit less than the last stay. Different room though. The staff are very accomadating towards guests. Dont forget a thank you goes a long way. Didn't use the gym or pool this time but the last stay I used the […] pool and hubby used the gym. Pool is really nice and does get busy after a certain time but we went at 8am and it was fine and no kids allowed at that time. Breakfast once again was very good and I do like the sausages they serve. The choice is always very good. Full traditional breakfast, choice of cerals, choice of fruits, pastries. Tea or coffee is served to you in a pot and is hot. Overall this hotel is good for either buisiness or for leisure . We used to use a near by hotel but as a treat we came to the Village and this is our hotel of choice now when we visit family and have stayed several times and I haven't had a complaint about it yet 더 보기

Various supplies in the room were not replaced, i.e shower gel, only 1 hand towell nd there were 2 guests. Overall it was a very pleasant and relaxing 3 day visit. I will be returning again in the future, nd recommend the hotel to my friends. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The Village Walsall has a friendly atmosphere, the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and airey with plenty of hanging and drawer space. the pool and gym facilities are top notch. Definately recommend this hotel.

Only glitch was Hotel tried to charge for a room on checking out that had already been paid in full at time of booking. Strange, as the other 4 rooms booked at same time didnt get a billing request. Reception staff blamed 'internet lapse and busy night' for the confusion although all 5 rooms were paid for by one Credit Card. It was a great weekend. the pool and spa is great the kids loved it. Was very clean. A fairly busy hotel but we liked it. Cons, could here the footsteps of the people on the floor above us. Starbucks should be open late. Other than that great and would stay again.

Excellent location and facilities. Only gripe is that TV wasn't properly tuned in in our room - a bit of a pain when you get up at 4:30am on a Sunday morning to watch Wales play their match in the Rugby World Cup and the picture is very fuzzy!!

This was our fourth visit to this hotel, and it has never let us down. The staff are so friendly, it's a pleasure to stay there. The hotel is large with good facilities but it still feels homely, thanks to the staff! The check in staff were quite rude, and the Hotel feels like it needs an overhaul. Our room smelt like an old smoking room that hasn't had a lick of paint since the ban.

We stayed at the hotel with family for one night and found the overall experience to be very good. Nothing negative to say which is good for a change! Swimming pool is large and clean Gym ( although not used on this occasion looked well equipped. The breakfast spread was just right. Had stayed at Village before and that was the best rate

clean, busy hotel with good facilities and choice of bars. very busy gym and pool on site. the rooms are ok, but a BIG minus is the lack of air-con and the room was warm, the windows open but then the noise from the M6 will keep you awake. a comfortable chair in the room would be good as well. some staff were excellent, some thought they were the guests. […] but apart from that a good hotel probably better suited to the younger traveller. 더 보기

Nice hotel, great gym and pool. The girl behind the bar was fantastic, bringing us a sample of 4 or 5 different wines when my girlfriend didn't like the one she had chosen.

WHEN WE ARRIVED CHECK IN IMMEDIATE. ROOM CLEAN, FOOD VERY GOOD. STAFF ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL. OVERALL VERYGOOD

Went on business trip; used facilities and had wonderful breakfast. Great service!

Enjoyed a very pleasant visit to this hotel. The standard of cleanliness was very high and the quality of food at breakfast was excellent. Most importantly, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was second to none.

Defo book again. Lovely comfy bed and plentiful breakfast

No shampoo or shower gel, Hotel explained it was company policy, there was wall mounted shampoo/shower gel which I found very soviet for such a hotel, very poor decision, also only 1 towel in our double room. Hairdryer also did not work. more iron curtain style. Staff however were very helpful.

I stay at this hotel quite regularly and have noticed some deterioration in recent times but this time it was brilliant. All the staff we came in contact with were extremely helpful with my needs and very friendly. In the past I have considered staying elseware when I am in Walsall but if the service remains like it was this time I shall remain staying […] at the Village. Well done. 더 보기

We checked in very late on a Friday evening and when we asked about the possibility of a later check out the receptionist was rather abrupt and rude. So we asked again the next day and the staff at reception at that time were great and explained all the options. Bar/ restaurant staff perhaps need some training on customer service. Also, at times it […] appeared as though they were perhaps a little understaffed. Breakfast staff a little eager to get their hands on breakfast even though there were still (paying) customers in the restaurant. They should take any leftovers round the back when all customers have finished then have their food. Does not look good at all to have staff eating in front of customers. Some memebrs of the breakfast staff also made us feel as though we shouldn't b there. During the night the man reception doubled up as the bar man which meant a long wait to be served and a very moody man who made us feel like we shouldn't be bothering him. They need a dedicated receptionist and dedicated bar staff at all times. The pub/restaurant staff during the day never smiled once. They were very slow and our desert took so long to come out that the ice cream was entirely melted on arrival. When I went to the bar to complain the two staff member were rushing around and completely avoided eye contact. Breakfast selection ok- not great. Watery tasteless scrambled eggs, roast potatoes which I thought strange at breakfast. Cereals not topped up quickly enough and milk was room temperature. A big issue was the thinness of the walls- we could here tvs in the corridor, people stomping about and even the people above flushing the toilet (which I have never encountered before). We also had some pipes running through our room which whenever anyone put on a tap we could here the water trickling down. These were the biggest issues- noise and poor service (at times). Being a chain, you pretty much know what to expect with any Village hotel. Especially if it's summer or holiday-time, expect it to be overrun with families an small children. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place for you; but if you like a lively atmosphere and a weekend night dominated by hen and stag parties then you'll be OK. […] To be fair, most of the revelers will have departed for the city by 10pm so you'll have the bar and restaurant to yourself. Food is average; just what you'd expect for the money, which is normal pub-food prices. Rooms are clean and spacious with a good sized TV and plenty seating. Selection of hot food at breakfast was very poor on my last visit; they need to be a bit more attentive to keeping the breakfast bar stocked. Overall, good value for money but does feel, on occasions, a bit like a holiday-camp. 더 보기

While the double glazed window looked adequate ; at 4am the motorway traffic was disturbing. Cooked breakfast-tasteless Bed -very comfy bathroom- excellent Victory Pub-excellent. Real ale in a hotel served correctly

We were looking for somewhere local to go that was nice and reasonably priced for my birthday!! we wernt sure what to expect but it was lovely! the rooms were clean modern and nice looking!! all staff were happy and helpful! having the starbux there was brill!! We dined in the restaurant where the food was very very reasonable but delicious and a […] trendy / modern style!! we relaxed in the bar after for a few drinks where there was different areas to relax!! it was lovely! when got up in the morning went for a swim in the lovely clean pool then off for a Superb breakfast that had everything!! i loved it ! will def use village hotesl again!! 더 보기

Dette hotellet var veldig barnevennlig. Frokost etc kunne vært bedre - men slik som engelske hoteller pleier å være - verken bedre eller dårligere. Servicen på de ansatte var veldig bra. Hotellet har også svømmebasseng som ungene stortrivdes i. Stort pluss for gratis internett tilgang på rommet.
