I stayed one night while my son attended Princeton Preview (accepted students days)...it was (as all the local hotels are) about 5 miles from campus on Route 1...lots of traffic...I was surprised and pleased with all the unique offerings at the hotel....I expected free breakfast...but the also had a nice late afternoon salad & hot food that could be […] dinner...(free) plus they sold beer (great variety) and wine in cases in the lobby....while I am not a big drinker it was nice to get a beer while I was catching up on email..free internet of course...I prefer more upscale hotels but this was a unique treat and would seriously consider staying there again...and my bed was ever so comfortable....very clean but tiny bathroom! 더 보기

My wife and I have stayed here on a previous occasion, and we plan to do so again the next time we come to town.

Hotel has to improve the TV picture quality and the WIFI speed is slow.

I changed rooms twice, once for a light that didn't work and once for noise. Staff never hesitated to help find a room I was comfortable with and continuously offer to help move my things.

This little Hampton in, in the boonies of US 1 in Plainsboro, NJ (near Princeton) was a real treat. I am a bit of a hotel snob and avoid chains whenever possible. I needed an inexpensive, convenient spot for one night and this fit the bill. From the minute I checked in, the young women at the desk was delightful....helpful, friendly and truly concerned […] that I had a good stay. WOW. The room was large and super-clean. The breakfast room was full of choices and an easy spot to meet colleagues to prepare for our upcoming meeting. Bravo for a great staff. We were put in a room that was lit up ALL NIGHT long because there was a street-light outside the window and we felt like we were sleeping in broad daylight......couldn't close curtains. We've been waiting to hear back from manager of this hotel - but they have yet to contact us to give us a free night as we are frequent Hampton Inn patrons. free breakfast-free dinner-got up to leave at 4am staff had hot coffee on for us and turned the juice machine on for us-would i stay there again-ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. We had no idea an evening complimentary meal was going to be served. We stayed and enjoyed our evening meal. When we inquired about coffee being available for us when we left at 4 a.m. we were offered a free to-go breakfast that we could pick up at the check out counter. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good, it had many choices to choose from waffles, fruits, bagels, yogurt etc. The staff were extremely helpful and responded promptly to our requests for services or information .. Overall a very pleasant stay.

My boyfriend & I stayed here for new years eve. I went back & forth between looking into staying here or doubletree. Between all the great reviews & the price, I chose Hampton Inn.. well the reviews were right on..the Staff was great! So friendly & helpful, also when I checked in that night they gave you a choice of a bottle of wine or a hampton inn […] blanket as a gift. The rooms & hotel were very clean! It was a cozy place and the room was spacious. The view from our room was the poolside so it was nice. Also there was a microwave & fridge in our room. Beds were big & comfy and there is a section by check in to buy wine,beer,snacks,batteries,asprin,etc. Which was nice..Also restaurants & mall a quick easy drive, maybe 10 min to quakerbridge mall & less to princeton market fair.. It doesnt look as big & exciting as the doubletree that is right by it but believe me when you walk in you'll be happy.. again,great staff,clean bigger rooms with everything you need! My ONLY thing I would say is water pressure wasn't great but not bad..I think you would enjoy your stay if you choose here! Cozy clean hotel with friendly,helpful staff! This is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at!!!! Great Rates, Great service and most of all easy fast ck in.. The room was very clean and big. We had a choice of a free blanket or bottle of wine to help us celabrate the New Year!!!! Breakfast was awsome!!!

Staff was very positive and upbeat! Also, very helpful and accommadting. Definitely would highly recommend this location to anyone and stay again in the future.

The condition of the mattresses are deplorable. It was not aided by using a bed board. The staff and all other aspects of the hotel are marvelous.

Everyone was very nice and during the week the stay includes breakfast and dinner, best hotel for corp travel.

We were very pleased with our stay here. All of the staff... front desk, shuttle driver, dining rm staff.. (can't remember names) displayed outstanding customer service. The Hilton can be very proud of these front line representatives of their chain. The ammenities compensated for the remote location of the property.

Everything was great except I purchased a $5.00 2 liter soda that was spoiled. The associate kindly offer a substitute which was fine. This is a great hotel... Just didn't need the king size let out mattress.

Remember when you used to go to a hotel and they welcomed you at the front desk in an honest way with a nice smile? Remember when they used to fill the tissue dispenser if it was low, replace the coffee that you have used so a fresh cup was there for you the next morning, left extra soap and toilet tissue and properly made a bed? Well, you get all this […] and more at this Hampton Inn! Lately the hotel industry has been really annoying - the service staff has been simply below par. I completely enjoyed my stay in Princeton and will choose this hotel over and over again as I am a frequent business traveler to the area. the hampton inn is an ok place to stay .. they tend to allow very large and noisy sports teams to stay there .. so along with the irritation of children running up and down the halls/stairs screaming all evening long when you go down to the free breakfast in the morning (if it's after 9am) you're pretty much guarenteed to find very little left. .. so […] keeping these things in mind, it's an ok place to stay for the money. 더 보기

Very friendly staff. Internet was fast and easy to use. BTW, the rate I was quoted on hotels.com was much lower than what I was quoted on the hotel website.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and could answer any questions we had about the area.We will definately stay here again.

Great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very quiet; did not hear any doors slamming. Would stay there again if needed to be in that area again.

Stained carpeting in room.

Stayed while attending a wedding - clean, good location and complimentary breakfast. Only compliant was that the breakfast bar was WAAAAY too cramped - a little reorganization and opening the area would avoid elbows and plates colliding sometimes. Other than that - highly recommend.

This hotel was clean, comfortable - good TVs. and had free dinner, beer, and wine from 5-7. Staff was great

.. they must have made some staffing changes at this hampton recently because we were pleasantly surprised by how nice and curtious the staff was after having major problems the last time .. 4 stars!

100% will recommend to live at this location. We will.

Great location in Princeton, and great price for the area. Huge room with room to move around and two king beds. Room was clean and nice, with the exception of a very stained carpet. Management says all rooms were in the process of getting new carpet. With that upgrade, this becomes the best deal in the area. My daughters and I loved the hot, varied breakfast options. We found the room very comfortable, and were only sorry that we did not have time to enjoy the outdoor pool.

We were surprised at how nice the hotel was! Clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast and complimentary dinner was a big hit with kids and the choices changed daily. Location was not too far from attractions like Six Flags and Sesame.
