Rec this hotel for person with pets...many rooms...clean but very very worn....

Hotel was old and has not been well maintained. Room was at best adaquate but will never stay there again

The facility is old and it showed it's age. The room had an moldy odor and the carpet needed cleaning. The BR floor was sticky and the shower was terrible.

This motel is really nicely located - just by a golf course, and very close to Acadia National Park. It's also reasonably priced, especially if compared with other motels in the area. There are a couple of things that bothered me though: - mold in the bathroom - very small and rarely cleaned breakfast area - lack of iron and ironing board in the room So […] if you just care about the location, go there. This hotel was cheap and that was what I was looking for. Hotels.com said the room came with a microwave but it didn't. I asked at the office for one andJeff found us one, finally, and it came in very handy. The WiFi did not work in the rooms, and only worked one night in the clubhouse. This could have been from the storm but I would not count on Wifi […] if you plan to stay here. The door lock stuck and I had to really jerk the doon to get it open. The beds were comfy and the best part of the room. The continental breakfast had prepackaged muffins that were not very good. The coffee was good and they had juice but no fruit. The hotel sits on a golf course and it was nice not being in the middle of a city... I heard that the hotel was under new management. Hopefully the new owners will will do some sprucing up and modernization on the hotel as the location was pretty nice. 더 보기

Hi: The door sticks, coffee pot leaked, carpet did not seem to have been shampooed for years. Free continental breakfast was basically coffee and juice. We loved it. Great location, Great view of Cadillac Mtn. Close to the airport in Trenton for our senic 9am flight and Wal Mart for forgetfuls.

Room not clean, breakfast room and breakfast not recommendable.

This motel probably needs a management change. It would not take much to upgrade it to be acceptable.. Was listed as being in Ellsworth rather than Hancock and so could not be located by GPS. There was no working phone number associated with the reservation and the number could not be located on the internet. Garbage can was located in room with ice […] machine, smelled, and was overflowing onto floor. In response to request it took several hours for it to be emptied. Excuse was offered that the garbage is emptied once a day. Advertised internet was in main building and not available in rooms. Response was that it was only advertised to be on premises and not in rooms. How cheap and misleading can you get. Beautiful 9 hole executive golf course was so neglected that no one would play it twice. Weedwackers started wacking under the motel room windows at about 7:30 A.M. 더 보기

This is the WORST place I ever stayed. Light bulb was missing when checked in. Next morning, there was no hot water to take a shower. The so-called free breakfast is nothing but a few donuts and coffee. Stay away from it if you can.

when we booked this place it had a 3 star rating from hotels and now within 1 week I see its a 1.5 rating. This hotel was dirty. We had to wear shoes in the room because of the filthy floors. clean, and basic motel. t.v and a.c worked fine. beds comfy and had a fridge in the room as well. i would stay again, its high season now, we were lucky to get it last minute. the staff was friendly and nice, let us check in early.. muffins and coffee in the morning.....a good choice for visiting bar harbor!.

My daugther and I stayed here for 1 night when i brought her to camp in Seal Harbor. The Inn is located on a side street off US1 just outside of the busy town of Ellsworth. The ease of getting in and out was definitely a plus. There is a Walmart less than a mile down the road which came in handy as we remembered things that we needed for camp. We aklso […] spent the afternoon at the Lamoine Beach which was just down the road and had a greta time on the ocean. The Lamoine State Park is also there. The staff was exceptionally friendly and prompt with the few requests had. I would definitely stay there again because it was also very affordable! 더 보기

Advertised WiFi and even in the lobby there was very very low service. Room was in dire need of a paint job. Repairs were needed to the door molding on the bathroom walls and the freezer was ice bond like it had not been defrosted in a long time. Rooms are good size and clean, but definitely dated. Only 2-3 tables in lobby for continental breakfast. WIFI is available in the lobby, but not in the rooms. Could easily hear people talking next door.

Knight's Inn Bar Harbor is not in Bar Harbor; it is 17 miles away from Bar Harbor. Since we wanted to stay as close to Acadia National Park as we could, we were very disappointed to find this "Bar Harbor" hotel 17 miles away from the Park. Other than the misleading name, the hotel was very nice. It appears to be brand new.

the stay at this hotel was ok. the walls were thin, and you could hear any movement from the neighbors next door. the remote did not work with the tv, we called the front dest and got new batteries, but still did not work. we let them know, but they chose not to pursue it. the cont. breakfast was flat muffin, coffee, and milk. for the price we paid, […] we could have done better. 더 보기

I've stayed at Knights Inns before, so I knew it wasn't going to be a grand experience, but this location was surprisingly nice. It looks and it's equipped like just another road side motel, but it has a coat of fresh paint and a touch of care. The room was clean and comfortable, smelled fresh, and the staff was really nice. No hairdryer and fridge […] though, be aware, which was the only downside of the place. Overall it was def a great option on Labor Day weekend over the pricey Bar Harbor hotels (Bar Harbor and Acadia are only a 15-20 minute drive away!) 더 보기

Due to this hotel's great location and price, it was a great find for us (despite the dirty floor and outdated bathroom). We did ask them to vacuum the carpet while we were out (two night stay) and they did not, as we found more long black hairs on the rug. Great place! I would like to visit again if I have a chance. If they upgrade their room like having microwave and refrigerator, it will be better. Except two things, I am very satisfied to stay there.

Hôtel peu cher relativement aux autres accomodatins mais chambres très moyennes mais propre et endroit tranquille - personnel courtois mais quand on dit déjeuner continental inclus, il s'agit de café dans des verres de styro, un muffin minable au chocolat, un jus d'orange bref... on déjeune ailleurs tant celui-ci est ridicule.

accès facile à Bar Harbour. Rien à redire, excepté une forte odeur de tabac froid dans la chambre !!!!!
