Lahaina Inn is well located in Lahaina. The price for a night is okay for the city and Maui in general. However, it is very hard to encounter any employee, be it a receptionist or the cleaning lady. The location is great, which is in the center of Lahaina. The rooms are on the small side, but you can't beat the price for the locaton. Plus, who stays in their rooms anyways when you have Front Street just a half a block away. I will stay again.

Very convenient, steps from Front st. Good value for location. Parking impossible on street, but provided at "discounted" rate just steps away.

Cool spot, very clean room, great area. Reminds me of a nice little Bed & Breakfast without the breakfast. I'd recommend it.

If you like night life and no need to rent a car...this is the place. Highly recommend the Lahaina Grill downstairs and the Gelato next door...they have the best coffe on Maui, as well. Hotel was centrally located but quiet; loys of ambience and romance. Book a ocean view for sure or you will be overlooking a parking lot!

This quaint inn is a terrific location for shopping, dining, & walking historical sites. Rooms are small but you won't spend much time there anyway. No ice, room service, etc but great parking once you figure out which spots the hotel has. Staff was very friendly. Good rate.

Small hotel with no full time desk staff. Room was small, one chair, no table, room was not larg enough to have these things. When the day clerk arrived, he was very friendly and helpful. Location is superb. No view. Clean and comfortable for a short stay. Inexpensive and a good value.

Unless you absolutely have to be within walking distance of downtown Lahaina, I would recommend you stay elsewhere. I rented an oceanside room which allowed me to see a tiny bit of the bay if I was standing on the balcony. If you sat in the rocking chair, all you see is the railing and the balcony next door. Your main view is the street. Rooms on the […] back side face a parking lot. The room has few amenities. There is no coffeemaker, miniscule soap, thin towels,and sheets so thin you can see the striped mattress. The bed is a small full size bed...I'm only 5'4" and my toes hung over. The front desk is only open sporadically and the young man who checked me in was surly. When I asked about a map of the area, he told me they had no maps. You pay extra for parking ($15) and internet on top of a pretty stiff price for the room. I've stayed in historic inns before, but they were charmingly maintained. The bathroom sink had a large crack in the bottom; the tile in the bathroom was chipped and dirty; along the entry wall was an ugly metal cover that was only partially painted and rusting. I would not want to stay there again when there are lovely hotels and condos just outside of Lahaina. 더 보기

I am so delighted with this hotel. It is in the center of Historic Lahaina town. Beautiful ocean view, sitting in the rocking chairs on the balcony, sipping on a Corona.......that is the beginning of a Fantastic vacation. One of the best kept secrets in Maui.

Classic original 1800s whaling village location. "Wild West" mid Pacific. Rooms are all on the second floor and half block off bustle of old main street, but a quiet escape. This is a pleasant hotel, very old so no elevators but nice. Small and right downtown LaHaina.

We booked for the location, and loved the hotel! Much quieter than anticipated, lovely furnishings, fantastic lanai to see all the action and the ocean! The staff was very helpful. Only recommendation for the hotel: an iron and a mini fridge would go a long way!!

The Lahainaluna suite is located on top of the kitchen for the Lahaina Grill. If you like to wake up to the sound of the stereo in the kitchen at 4am and listen to it until 11pm this is the place for you. The hotel has great character and the location is great. BUT if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep...this is not the hotel for you. The garbage truck woke me up every morning at 6 am.

Our only complaint is the size of the room. Beds are tough for two adults to get comfortable. Kinda noisy at night. Had to have security come and let us in when we arrived after 7pm.. No inn keeper around!

So If you are looking for a quick stay for maybe a night then the price is right.. However if you like to sleep on vacation then you're in for a surprise.. I stayed 3 nights and every morning was a disaster.. 5:45 in the morning the delivery trucks, and the garbage trucks come rolling in. Not passing through, but noise for hours. We had hot water for […] only one shower (5 - 10 min tops), and the other got a cold one.. It seemed to never get hot again.. not even warm.. COLD If that is ok then jump in... As for the rooms, the Junior suits are actually nice.. good space nice beds, and a great Deck. Now when we got moved out last 2 nights to a standard room you would have thought they cleared out the closet, put in a roll away and sold it out.. NOT KIDDING what so ever.. Quaint little hotel from the past. Clean rooms, great air conditioning, in the middle of Lahaina, within walking distance to everything.

The front desk closes at 7pm so if you arrive after that you have to wait at least 20 minutes for security to arrive and let you in.

Ambiance was wonderful, balcony superb. Bed very nice...

It is pretty similar to a B&B type of lodging. Comfortable room, reasonable rate, convenient location and cheap parking ($10/day). I like the staff there especially. They are eager to help. Also, there is a booth across the street and we can just sign up/pay for activities 1-2 days in advance. This is all location. Right next to cheeseburger in paradise and right in the action of downtown Lahaina, but the rooms are small, and you can hear everything outside if you are an early bird. This is best suited for late night partiers.

This is a cool little place that has a prime location in downtown Lahaina. You can walk to everything in town from the hotel. The pretty beach is 3 miles North near the resorts, but all the nightlife is right next to the Lahaina Inn. Parking was fine and the check in and out went smooth.

The stay in Maui was terrific, The hotel staff was always polite and helpful, They suggested outings, attractions and meals and all of them were wonderful. You do get to use the parent hotel ammenities we did 2 of the days but the Lahaina inn was so close to shopping and entertainment that it wasn't necessary any more than that. Small old hotel, way overpriced, bed uncomfortable, headboard hitting wall everytime I made a move on the bed, wood floor sticky, have to go to the back of the restaurant next door to get ice in a cup size bucket Really!! The exterior does not have good "curb appeal". but the hotel has a charming and inviting interior. The rooms are clean but small. That should be expected given the hotel was established in 1838. Don't go expecting a convenient ice machine, fitness center, etc. The location is smack in the middle of Lahaina. You can walk to everything you need. Parking […] is conveniently nearby. The only issue I had was my room was facing the rear parking lot. When the bars close, the party apparently moves to the parking lot under the Inn's 2nd floor balconies for about 45-60 minutes. The hotel was fine. My room had a nice balcony from which you could see the ocean, but it smelled a little musty probably because of the air-conditioning being turned on and off. Excellent downtown location, 1/2 block from Front Street. No parking on site, $10 per day to park a block away. Charming 1938 Hotel, expected to see Bogart telling Sam to "Play it Again" any moment. There was a lot of confusion concerning our reservation and what room we had booked. It all worked out good for us as they ended up putting us in the suite […] as an upgrade. Convenient, walk to shops, food, and the beach. Efficient Air Conditioning. All the desk personnel were very friendly and accomodating. Desk staffed from 11 AM until 7 PM only. We were a little hesitant based on the pictures but the reviews said the location was great. They weren't kidding. This ended up being one of our favorite hotels and we definitely recommend the Makai Suite if you can get it. It's right on the end so one night we just sat out there with a bottle of wine, listening to the live music from Cheeseburgers […] in Paradise and looking out over the water. It was a 1 minute walk to restaurants, shops, waterfront - just perfect and Lahaina was great that way. Wailea was nice but very resort area where you don't walk to much. The Lahaina Inn wasn't the newest, fanciest place but we didn't care because of the location, view, the effort they put in and the great service. Definitely recommend! 더 보기

This hotel was perfect for my husband and I. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are small but we didn't need anything bigger. It's one double bed. No fridge but we didn't one. The best shaved ice was Hawaiian Shaved Ice (2 locations on front street and 1 near the airport) and a great place to watch a game or just hang out is Mcgillicuttys they also have great breakfast. Hotel is in an awesome location. The only thing is if you check in after 9pm you need to call someone to open the hotel lobby and get your keys. On the plus side it took only 12 minutes for an employee to get there. Nice place to stay.

A small hotel at the center of activity in Lahaina, with free access to the bigger resort hotel owned by the same chain, 5 minutes away.
