Hotel is a block from the river front street. Clean and staff friendly nice customer service.

For a little less money the Blue Sail Inn has better rooms in better condition. Our room had some mold in the shower.

It was terrible! I've seen better rooms in the cheapo motels. Sat on a towel on the floor .... the back of the towel was BLACK when it was picked up! The bed boards were unfinished. The bathroom smelled. We could hardly check out fast enough.

- Check in went well without problems. - Room seemed clean until we looked behind the bedside table where the vacuumer had not been for a long time. - Not much noise from other rooms. - The heater worked. - There was warm water in the morning shower. - But NO continental breakfast as promissed !! Tried to talk us into a smaller room even though we had a confirmed reservation. Said it was a mistake that we got the room we did.

I was upset to get to the hotel and find that the pictures posted were not this hotel. Do not pack work out clothes, there is no gym. This is a standard motel 6 room.

the location of the hotel is excelent real close to the beach. we had a great view.

The pictures of the Morro Bay's Fireside Inn in Hotel dot com's website are of a different hotel in a different city. This hotel is equal to a Motel 6

This might not be the worst hotel ever, but it is definately the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. To begin with it looks nothing like the pictures on the website, it is run down and dumpy. The room had a distinct smell to it, and was not kept very clean. The white towels were full of stains, the heater did not work neither did the "fireplace". I called […] up to he front desk three times to get the wireless to work, but never succeeded. they just insisted that it worked. (i was able to use my wireless the night before at a different hotel and the night after at yet another hotel). I would have much rather stayed in the back of my truck then slept in this hotel room. Good deal for the price. Room was clean & comfortable. Desk clerk was very helpful - especially when we had a hard time acessing the WiFi. Would stay there again. Only problem was the bedspread seemed like it hadn't be replaced recently. Overall a good stay.

Run of the mill hotel,reasonably priced in a decent location.

Extremely disappointed. Hotel owners were extremely unfriendly. There was a mix up in our booking and we were supposed to be booked in a hotel with the exact same name in another town nearby. The hotel we were expecting offered the free breakfast and the one we ended up in had nothing. The ultimate "no frills" motel...certainly not worth what we paid. VERY thin walls and ceilings. No soap or shampoo in bathrooms (good thing we packed our own). Cheap "electric fireplace" in room which did not work...it was so cheesy looking it was embarrassing. Bed was not very comfortable. Owners clearly not putting any money into the motel. Now I'm an average height 5'6" well the shower head came to my Collar Bone so I got my excercise trying to wash my hair. They also need to improve on the quality of their toilet paper I would like to wipe with toilet paper and not my hands totally disgusting.. Dirty dishes in the room and dusty Ice bucket old noisey refrigerator.

Room was nice and comfortable. Good value for the price.

Location was perfect. Even though it is near the ocean, air conditioning is a must. Very noisy and run down for the money.

Bien situé sur la route de San Francisco, nous avons passé une seule nuit dans cet hôtel. Accueil réduit au minimum, pour les formalités administratives. Parking assuré, non fermé. A notre arrivée, nous avons trouvé les vestiges de nos prédécesseurs : serviette de bain utilisée qui traînait par terre dans la salle de bain, ce qui donne une première […] impression un peu négative du lieu. Sinon,chambre correcte et propre, (le doute subsiste toujours avec l'incontournable moquette).
