Had to get a new room after the 1st night. This is the last time we stay there.

For what they charge it's terrible. Very old. Came back after diner with a cricket on my bed and some type of droppings under my pillow. Someone turns the water you'll hear the pipes etc. Now w/ A&M being in the SEC hotels can pretty much charge what they want for events. This was a last minute work event for Parents' Weekend. We stayed two nights after we determined they were the only available rooms in town. Our computer rated the hotel with two stars (out of five). We concluded two stars to be generous. The toilet seat was broken. The sink faucet was crazy. The room seemed old and not at all shiny clean. It is an old re-painted motel with outside doors on every room. no […] elevators. There was a reason it was the last place to have a room...the handicap room, wasn't accessible from the parking directly in front of door, we had to park half way down the building to find a space large enough for the wheelchair to fit between the cement parking stops. The door between that adjoins the room next door was stuffed with paper due to the […] gap. It was in much need of a make over...the outside had been painted and looked nice but as soon as you walked in you could tell it hadn't had an update, if ever. The A/C was still the push button type from the 70's and one of the knobs were missing. No hair dryer, it was clean, and it was a place to lay our heads. 더 보기

Horrible. Black mold all over the bathroom. Just slept and left. Didn't even take a shower in all the nasty mold

This was the WORST place I've ever stayed!!! The first room we were in, I went to pull the cover back and the sheets were yellow and dingy looking. Also on inspecting the sheets I noticed a BUG crawling in the bed. The room smelled terrible. I opened the door for about 30 minutes to air out the room. I don't recommend this place at all!!! When I went […] to check out the guy working was rude and didn't want to help me with the problem I had. So when I asked for the managers name and his name he replied to me, "I don't know why you're getting upset with me. I haven't done anything." I told him exactly!! He wasn't even trying to help me. It advertised a hair dryer, which it didn't have. I waited for the front desk clerk for 20 minutes and they never showed. Went back to my room and had to wait to check out. Went to the front desk to ask for a hair dryer and no one was around. The bedspread had a stain on it. There are cheaper, but this is a good deal for the money. Clean and renovated.

Best Value should be ashamed to call this a hotel. I have used BV before but never an experience like this. The toilet seat swiveled and the carpet was coming up. The sheets were scratchy, the bed was just plain poor and there was no clock to be found. Breakfast was stale pastries and lousy coffee. The front desk manager was very nice and accommodating. The room needs major updating, but it was clean. The location was close to college. The mexican resturant next door severed a good mexican breakfast.

The first room we were given did not have a working phone, had holes in the sheets, and had walls that were not completely painted. In addition, there was no chain on the room door and the doors to the closets were off the tracks. We were given another room which was better. This was a last pick for us because everything else was booked. We had a double room, but they only gave us 2 towels. There were live crickets and other bugs in the room. it got everything for basic equipments and amanities. for a price like that, you wont find many hotel this much comfortable.

Hotel is badly in need of remodel, but beds seem to be ok. Just what you're looking for if you don't want any extras. Front desk clerk very nice and accommodating for my room location request. This hotel is fine if you want a cheap, clean place to ONLY sleep (if you're not going to be in your room much) while you visit the A & M area. It has a mini fridge and a microwave, both of which are wonderful to have! No coffee maker or hair dryer, though - which seem to me to be more basic necessities. To start The outside look it appeared very well kept and cozy, when you open the door very nice look and decent new smell . When my husband laid down to rest my daughter saved him from some grey kind of insect, this is after he just finished killing a small water beatle. the bath tub would leak water thru the top when using the shower and the carpet […] needed cleaning, A.C. would not get cold fast enough, not enough pillows even after asking for two, and last but not least a pair of wash gloves disapeared from bathroom. 더 보기

Clean yes, noisy due to late nite construction and early morning paint crews. Rooms were Okay for rate but no extras. Sleep is all I wanted and that was sparse.

No amenities. Holes in blankets. Double beds with 2 thin pillows. No hot water in sink.

electricity did not work on wall where bed backs up to so no lighting for beds/bedside table the handle fell off the tub so unable to bath the room was as clean as you can make it- in desperate need of recaulking/updates and repairs

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The shower was gross and it wouldn't drain. The cleanliness in general was very poor!

The hotel is what it is. It's affordable and close to campus for football games. If all you need is a place to sleep and shower, it does the job. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean enough. Only complaint is the hot water - got up about 10am the morning we left and took lukewarm showers.

This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a motel. The shower was clean, the water was hot, the television worked and the A/C worked fine. All very important items. The carpet had cigarette burns all over, there was no toilet paper or holder in the restroom and the towels were probably used there during the Reagan years.

Middle of the line in comfort and cleanliness but right price for families on a tight budget very convenient to TAMU

the hotel need to have more than 1 - quarter size of soap in the room, i wasn't very happy with that at all. there were no information about the city of college station or bryan . no infirmation directory, about nothing .

Hotel was run fairly good, there was a problem with one light and the sink, overall for the money it was a good value.

Went to Bryan for an SCCA auto race. Room was less than 1/2 the price of the race central special deal hotel and was closer to the race site. Beds and shower were clean which was all that we were looking for. Area around the hotel is not bad. If you're looking for bare-bones accommodations, cheap, you'll be very happy here. If you want something new […] and 4-star, go somewhere else and pay for it. College Station area is a college town and most hotels are going to charge more and sometimes much more, depending on the Texas A&M activities that are taking place. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know. It was kind of scary for a woman traveling alone. The hotel office was dirty and the bed was not that comfortable. This place was not anything to rave about.

The outsiden of the hotel looks really old and beat up...the stairs looked very rough, and I was afraid they would fall apart. The room was in good shape, however, the shower curtain was all stained up, which was pretty disguisting. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean, thank goodness!

This hotel had TICKS in the beds, and then when called the front desk the clerk said that she can switch our room or we could check out. When I told her we wanted to check out she said that was fine but that I couldn't get a refund. The pictures looked twenty times better than the hotel itself. The showers were dirty. This hotel was in a college town and we stayed there on off hours. There were not many people staying there. Everyone was very nice and they all seemed to know that I was goiing to be arriving. The breakfast was just enough for what we needed. It was close to everything we were there for. The pool was cloudy and had trash in it. The TV remote needed to be programmed. The maid banged loudly on the door two hours before checkout. Other than that it was fine.

Great price; good motel. Only one offering for breakfast - muffins (and juice)

This hotel is old and not maintained. The only reason I didn't check out was because of Parents Weekend at Texas A&M. There were no other hotels to be found. The rate was expensive. The faucet in the bathroom didn't work, the toilet leaked every time you flushed it. The exteror of the property is in need of much repair and very unattractive. The interior […] of the room also was in need of serious attention. I kept referring to my room as the "Dump". I reserved through Hotels.Com and expected that they would only work with hotels that were clean and in working order, which obviously is not the case. The continental breakfast...Couldn't even think about participating in that. I made the best of the situation,but would definately plan far in advance in the future to avoid having to stay in such a place. 더 보기

This had to be the grossest hotel I have ever stayed in. There were dead bugs in the sheets, paint peeling off the wall, etc. I would certainly say this was not a good value as the price was much higher than it should have been. It was a waste of money, if you ask me. Do not stay here!
