If all you require of a hotel is: a clean room, a comfortable bed, and a free breakfast, then this is the place for you. If you prefer more modern amenities. If you are bothered by things like an amateur paint job, or stained bathtubs, or outlets without covers, then I suggest you pay more and stay somewhere else. Dirty Room. No one at front desk to check out for a long time. Shower didn't work.

Breakfast doors weren't open by 730 am had to skip breakfast waiting on the doors to open. My buddies stayed here as well asked for a wake up call and did not get one. The Manager was very friendly though he was full of information on the local eatery. The Shower head sprayed everything in the bathroom except the person taking a shower. Very friendly, helpful manager. We asked for recommendation for hot breakfast at a locally-owned restaurant. After some hesitation, he mentioned Sofia's Kitchen, and gave generalized directions. Turns out, it was right around the corner, on the same block as the motel - and offered a perfectly fine basic breakfast. The room was not clean. I found used soap and an empty shampoo bottle in the shower that looked like a 5 year ago did the tile work in. There was toilet paper sticking out of the holes in the walls all over the room. Only one light in the room had a light bulb in it and made it hard to see. The worst thing in the room was when i was looking for an outlet […] to plug my phone in. The outlet behind the night stand shocked me when I reached to plug in the cord, because the outlet was hanging out and had wires were exposed. 더 보기

The bathrooms were recently remodeled and that was such a plus. The rooms were very clean and the service was wonderful when we ran out of ice for the baby's milk. Would stay there again.

Room was not cleaned when we returned for the evening

The room provided had not received any housekeeping service. I asked for another room. The second room's heater did not work. I left the hotel and booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express. I will not stay at the Howard Johnson in Socorro again.

The hotel is clean and cheap. If you need a perfect room this is not the hotel for you.
