We Stayed at the sunset after a tour around the island and many hotels... Thought it would be nice to not worry about food and eat some good meals.... Boy were we wrong!!! The hotel was nice, very lush... but that comes at a cost, they do something called fogging *thats to kill bugs and otther things that might bother you* Its a chemical that has been […] banned in canada and the USA yet they remain to use it in third and second world countrys... I missed the sound of crickets and lizards *I went to an eco resort and the bugs wernt near as bad becasue they let the lizards roam free and do their thing.* The food... well thats another story. They only have two places to eat... a la carte and buffet... The buffet was open for every meal and the food was reused from the night before.. Each night you could expect to see whatever reheated food they didnt use up the night before in some new type of brown sauce... The cheese was good tho* The fruit was all under ripe and not very good. As for the a la carte each night the story was *It will be open the next night* That night never came till our last night there... And when I went to eat there I was told I coudnt wear flip flops *the girls are fine to* So I pot on my water shoes and returned.... I waited 10 mins to get asked if I wanted water and then had to wait even longer to have my order taken... Well at this point we had enough and left to take a cab into town to get a real meal. We went to the rock house and it was great. The menu on the a la carte was pretty much the same kind of food as the buffet... The beach was across the street and not at all close to 7 mile or anything to do... after 2 days there we were bored out of our minds. I needed a transfor to the air port from the hotel and asked the desk *Rather then setting it up they said *the driver would be there in 20 min and I could speak with him... They quoted me 50 US... I spoke to the driver and he said he would be there at 7am for us... He was there ontime and we 더 보기

Beautiful, quiet, rustic, charming hotel at the end of the 7 mile strip in negril. The property is beautiful, green and lush and must be appreciated for what it is. It is not a luxury hotel and lacks some of the convenience and amenities of those properties. But it's one of the better properties in negril. Some of the staff are extremely lovely and […] make a commendable effort to be helpful and pleasant. The tree top rooms are basic, clean and charming and the bathrooms have interesting showers. The rooms and the hotel itself are dimly lit and with the canopy of trees everything can appear quite dark. This lends a romantic quality to the property but is not for those who like a lot of light. The pool is clean and nice. The food was basic and average. Insect repellant is a must. The hotel feels like it is set admist jungle, and I saw big frogs, crabs and lizards. At night, crickets croak their lungs out, so if this sort of think bothers you, this is not the place to stay. One disadvantage is that this property is not directly on the beach and you need to cross the street to the beach area. In addition, although the water itself is beautiful, the beach area is not the nicest and is soggy and water-logged. The beaches closer to the center of negril are nicer than those in bloody bay. Another disadvantage is the isolated nature of the hotel. Because the property consists of huts in a dense jungle and is dimly lit, walking around the property at night is a bit eerie. In addition, the men pruning the trees in day are a bit too forward to the point of being unnerving. That said, the rest of staff seem well-trained and professional. This resort is absolutely amazing! It is secluded and beautiful. Each treehouse is in a duplex design, surrounded by local plantlife, giving each room a secluded intimate feeling. The resort is about an hour and a half away from the airport, but the travel is worth the stay. The atmosphere is quiet, if your looking for a relaxing vacation, minus the […] crowds. The meals are amazing! The drinks never end. The beach is something you can not miss! This resort is absolutely everything your looking for if you are looking for a quiet, intimate atmosphere. No crowds, no loud parties until 3 in the morning. On the other side of the positive, there are a few points that should be brought to your attention. The resort offers only 3 meals a day. These meals are offered at the buffet style resturant. There is also an option to have dinner in the "elegant" resturant; however, to eat dinner in this restuarant, you must be in elegant attire (no shorts, jeans, etc). The downfall to the amazing meals that are offered; there is no option for the late night eaters, or early morning hunger moments. There is an option for during the day, if you decide to eat when the buffet is not available (the beach grill). The beach is across the street from the resort; however, there is an area that is private to the resort and for resort guest only. The downfall to the beach is the resort can say only guests can enter the area from the street; however, they can not control the locals on the actual beach. There were moments where several locals would try to talk to you while on the beach or walking to ask for your business (hair braids, shells, shirts, etc). The resort is amazing, and the minor pitfalls should not keep you from experiencing this resort. The information provided is just to help inform you of each moment you may experience. i know what 2 look 4 working in a hotel 4 over 20 years.this place may not have a big name or 5 pools/bars but it has everything you need. great service. clean. well keep great food . grouds well kept. very relaxing & laid back.if this is what your looking 4 this is well under price for the money.beach across the street no big deal at all.......... […] . 더 보기

The hotel staff was incredible. They were friendly, helpful, fun and gave excellent service. We had a terrific time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was really a class act. Beautiful surroundings, the staff was always exceptionally friendly and polite, the food was excellent. It was the best part of our stay in Jamaica

I had been wanting to stay at this resort for a couple years and finally had the opportunity and it was well worth the wait! Very laid back and relaxing...I loved it!! I love Negril!!

It was my first all-inclusive holiday, so I was scared to get bad food all day long, kitchy entertainment in the evening and ridicoulous pool games after lunch. Instead we got a great hotel room, excellent food (LOTUS restaurant! and Jerk Chicken at the beach), tranquility, the best beach ever and RELAXATION, RELATION, RELAXATION! Ein Hotel wie wir es schätzen, Bungalows und kein grosser Hotelbau, vieles ist aus Holz gebaut, die gepflegte Anlage ist sehr grün mit vielen Palmen und Pflanzen. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Hotelstrand ist eher klein an einer mittelgrossen Bucht. Zum Frühstück gibt es ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, mittags Buffet […] oder am Beach etwas vom Grill und abends hat es nebst dem Buffet ein kleines bedientes Restaurant.
