아주 좋은 경관과 음식이 있는 아름다운 호텔입니다. 그러나 낡은 태닝 침대는 뭔가 좀 개선을 해야할 듯 보이고 풀장 역시 깨끗이 해야 할 듯 보였습니다. 저는 방을 3번 바꿔야 했습니다. 우리는 개미 둥지가 있는 좋지 않은 방을 배정받았습니다. 그런데 더 짜증나는 일은 이것에 대해 아무런 보상도 받지 못했다는 것입니다. 우리가 밥먹는 것을 호텔안에서 다 처리했음에도 불구하고 저녁 조차 아무런 보상이 없었습니다. 또한 호텔측으로 부터 적절한 사과도 없었습니다.

저는 무료 인터넷 페키지와 한 사람을 위한 아침식사를 예약했었습니다. 저는 인터넷 연결을 위해 패스워드를 알려달라고 수천번 전화를 했습니다. 저는 2박 3일을 머물렀고 매일매일 전화를 했으며 무선인터넷은 아주 속도가 느렸습니다. 서양의 실제 기준으로 본다면 낮은 등급입니다. 방안에 있는 세면대가 막혀 있었고 샤워 난간이 깨져 있는 등 이런 부분들에 관해 제가 나가 있는 동안 고쳐 달라고 호텔 프런트 데스크에 얘기를 했었지만 고쳐진 것은 아무것도 없었습니다. 방 역시 깨끗하지 않았습니다. 이 호텔은 매우 낡았고 서비스도 좋지 않습니다.

음식 값이 비쌌습니다만 만일 여러분들이 차를 렌트한다면 밖에서 사올 수 있기때문에 별 문제가 없을 것입니다. 전체적으로는 휴식을 취하기에 최상의 장소입니다.

Great hotel property, location is not so near the main beach attractions of Langkawi. Private beach adjacent to hotel is clean and well maintained, but has few adventure water sports. The property has good facilities and is very well maintained. Would stay again if in Langkawi.

We stayed here for 5 days last week and have to say that this was one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. The hotel is in a very quiet location which helps the relaxing feel that we got as soon as we arrived. If I had to be critical […] I would say that the Ocean view room, despite the spectacular view was just a little "tired". We had a fabulous stay in Westin Langkawi. Hotel, location, landscape, staff, services... all the recipients for a perfect moment of relaxation were there. Nothing to complain except maybe that you can feel that hotel begins getting old when looking at furniture. Otherwise we just have good compliments for Westin Langkawi. Overall, the hotel was nice. Loved the TV. Furniture in the room a little worn out. There was no instruction for the coffee drip machine. We ordered room service the night before to be served at 7am because we were heading out for an activity at 7.45am. I really enjoyed the way westin has set it's architect designe and floor plan in which it's rooms faces the wounderfull land scape that face the ocean . It is nice place for taking rest and comfort

Excellent hotel, the friendliness of the staff contributed greatly to an an enjoyable stay. The chefs at breakfast were so professional and helpful, making up 'surprise' fillings for our Roti. Would recommend the resort for anyone wanting a quality getaway.

We spent 3 day in this fantastic place with cosy room, beautiful view and lovely stuffs. It's definitely your first choice!

My family stayed at the Westin for 4 days around Christmas and we had a very relaxing time. The place is really beautiful and the staff is friendly and efficient. There are 3 pools and quite a big private beach. You can always find a nice quiet spot either on the shades or in the sun. If you burn easily, but like to stay outside and stare at the ocean, […] this is the perfect place for you because there are big trees on the beach that protect you from the sun (if you want to be protected). The room was worth the money but other services seemed a little overpriced (food, massages etc.) although the quality was always high. The location is good if you want to stay someplace quiet and beautiful where nobody disturbs you. You can walk to the nearest town but it's not that close. Basically you must rent a car or take a taxi to visit other places because it's so secluded. The taxis where cheap though. I'd recommend this place for honeymooners, romantic couples and families as well. If you want lots of parties, action and people then this is not the place. 더 보기

The hotel is very far from the airport.the rooms need reconditioning.I booked ocean view room but on first day they did not give me ocean view room from second day they changed my room to ocean view.

Our family of three wanted a relaxing and comfortable vacation with our child. We chose the Westin Resort & Spa, Langkawi for 5 nights in the middle of October 2011 based on reviews and photographs. For the most part, the stay was pleasant, relaxing and comfortable. We landed in the hotel on a Saturday around noon 1pm and the check in process was smooth, […] though we had to wait for an hour (check in is around 3pm). The cold towels and cool welcome drink helped. The hotel lobby is on the top floor, as it is built on the side of a hill.All the rooms then are built on lower levels going down to beach level. The first room we got was a bit of a disappointment to what we were expecting. We had booked a deluxe garden facing room through a website. The literature said all rooms have balconies etc. But this one was a bit too small with a view of the road leading to the reception (2409). We could not open the curtains due to the fact, that someone was always walking around on the road and could easily look in. We then went back to the reception staff for a change of room. They asked us to come back at noon the next day. Being pleasant, but not really promising a solution. Fortunately, next day we met one Mr Nico (do not know how his name is spelled), probably an expat manager there. He heard our problem and we were moved to room 4411in the same category Now this was what we had come for, the room was larger and had a balcony facing a garden. Very comfortable. Other than this hitch the rest of the stay was very good. The proprerty is very close to Kuah (maintown in Langkawi) and less than a kilometre from the Kuah jetty where most of the boat tours start. The hotel property is very large, green and has a long private beach.The gym, sports facilities are good too. You can easily spend lots of time within the hotel/resort premises itself. Having chosen the Westin for my girls trip on the trip advisor ratings, I could not have imagined how fantastic this resort could be. The immediate views out to the sea and mountains are breathtaking, it felt surreal! We […] enjoyed complimentary icy poles as we sunbaked next to the pool, and also complimentary cocktails at Breeze bar every evening. There was also live entertainment at Breeze bar making our stay memorable. I could not fault the resort, its facilities and it's staff. Hotel is in a good location close by to Kuah town yet at a secluded end with privacy. Room with garden view was comfortable. Only grouse is that the pool closes at 8pm so they chased us away when we tried to take a dip at 8.30pm.

Our final morning at Westin, we decided to spoil ourselves with a nice breakfast as we had been eating out at the local establishment like hawker stores & Kopitiam with cheap food. With the numerous stays in other Malaysian top range hotels like Westin, we expected the food range would be more. We had a fabulous time at the Westin. My wife and I went with a one year old. The Westin provided a cot in the room on wheels, which meant that we were able to move the cot while our baby was asleep - and the room is big enough to easily cope. The breakfast is a must! There is a 1 foot pool next to the main pool, with sun loungers around it - great for kids who can't swim. The views are stunning and the hotel staff were all really friendly and attentive. Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights last weekend. Am rather pleased overall with the location in particular. It's a nice walk out to the Jetty Point Duty Free Mall and another 5 minutes walk to Langkawi Fair Mall (though we were rather disappointed with the latter). From Jetty Point, you can have cheap meals and book your day trips (there is a whole stretch […] of tour agents facing the carpark) as compared to eating and booking in hotel. Cab ride to Pantai Cenang cost us only RM28 (you can have your banana boat ride and parachuting there) and RM100 if you hire the cab for 4 block hours to bring you to the places of interest. It's also around 15 minutes walk to Eagle Square from hotel. Facilities wise, pretty standard but the spa is truly heavenly! Due to schedule, we did not get a chance to try out any treatment but we did check out the compounds of the spa and it was really like a heaven on earth. We stayed at Westin Langkawi for 2 nights. Infinity pool by the beach with swim up bar was excellent, shame beaches are not that swimmable (sand is sludgy underfoot). Facilities were very good, breakfast buffet had a very wide selection, however our room was a bit dated looking. The grout between the tiles in the shower were black and looked really […] dirty. The tiles themselves were also dirty looking and generally seemed worn and tired. Othewise, very nice place to stay. Very nice hotel that offers serenity, yet close by to some local food places and malls (8MYR for a taxi to the mall).The breakfast spread was excellent and champange was included. The hotel was very kind to extend a complimentary late check out for us as we were travelling with children and our flight was in the late afternoon.

Room was amazing with style, comfort and views. The recreational facilities were excellent and the staff were always on top of things. We did not try the food here due to our budget but were more than happy to walk 10 minutes into town to eat local produce. We went with my wife and baby to this resort in Langkawi. We were told that there is nothing to do in Langkawi, which is quite true, and we were planning to stay and enjoy the hotel. The restaurants were good, the swimming pools too, the beach looks nice but you can't really swim because of corals, there are tennis courts, a gym, sauna/jacuzzi, kids' […] club. The room was very well thought (with many little things that make the stay really enjoyable - everything we needed, it was provided: hairdryer, ironing board, scale, dim light, toilets seperate from the bathroom by a door, etc.). Langkawi is quite expensive compared to the rest of Malaysia / Asia, but we had a good deal with Hotels.com 더 보기

The hotel is located on a beautiful location however the sea in this area is less clean due to the local harbor. Also the local ferry (jeti) to the mainland is passing by a couple of times a day. Although the ferry is not big it makes some noise which is disturbing the peacefulness of the area. We had a pleasant stay with my family and due to the special […] offer from hotels.com it was an interesting location to stay. However if we had to pay the full rate we probably would not have chosen this hotel. Regarding the meals we don't have much experience with this hotel since we preferred to use local restaurants. Vi boede 5 dagen på Westin og var stort set meget tilfredse med vores ophold og nød udsigten fra vores terresse. Morgenmaden var overdådig og super lækker - Det kneb dog lidt med at følge med for tjenerne, der serverede te/kaffe og ryddede af bordene. Et par gange var vi næsten færdige med at spise før teen/kaffen kom på bordet. Poolområderne og stranden […] var fantastiske. Der var gode muligheder for at vælge andre steder at spise end på hotellet. Det tog 5-10 minutter at går derned, og 5 minutter længere fremme lå et stort indkøbscenter. Westin er et rigtigt dejlig hotel, men det er overpriced og da Kuah ikke er den mest charmerende by på jorden, bruger du meget af din tid på hotellet. Westin leverer en god service men den er ikke excellent, hvilket må kunne forventes af et luksusresort der samtidigt er meget dyrt. Den generelle renlighed på hotellet og dets faciliteter er god men […] kun som forventet. Og ikke outstanding nogen som helst steder på hotellet. De ansatte var i gennemsnit gode og servicemindede. Отель недалека от города Куах, который, хоть формально и является столицей острова, довольно спокойное место. Территорая небольшая, не очень зеленая. Есть собственный пляж, однако море отливное, поэтому даже во время прилива купаться в море не очень приятно: илистое дно и мутная вода (но это, как мы поняли, везде на Лангкави). Хорошая еда, приятный […] сервис, удобные комнаты, хотя и с несколько "усталой" мебелью. В общем, это место, где можно провести неделю просто релаксируя. Есть собственный спортзал (мы до него так и не дошли), теннисный корт (до него тоже не дошли), спа (решили пойти в спа в городе, так как цены в 2-3 раза ниже, чем в спа в отеле). Единственный серьезный минус - инернет: в номере очень дорогой (оплата за сутки примерно равна стоимости мобильного безлимитного интернета в Москве), в лобби wi-fi бесплатный, но качество очень плохое. 더 보기

Topp hotell med nesten overdreven servicegrad og med fasiliteter som bare kan oppleves. Restauranttilbudet var lite variert og svært dyrt. Det ble til at jeg og min kone spiste sjømat på lokale restauranter med opplevelse, god kvalitet og overkommelige priser.

Really beautiful with excellent service and view. Great breakfast. All make you feel have a real holiday in 5 star hotel! Only 1 thing need to improve is no public transport and shuttle bus, this make the transport fee very expensive(hotel not near the main beach). If hotel can provide free shuttle bus to town/airport, it would be perfect!

モダンでシックなインテリアに着いたとたんにテンションがあがりました。 3歳の子供と家族3名での滞在でした。 まず、プールがいくつもあって子供は本当に楽しそうにしていました。評判のピザも本当に美味しかったです。 朝食ブッフェも新鮮なフルーツ、その場で焼いてくれるワッフルなど種類が豊富で毎日いてもあきない感じです。 客室も清潔でした。 ヘブンリースパも最高に気持ち良かったです。 ガーデンが広く綺麗でお散歩も楽しめました。 また是非、家族で利用したいです。

Wir haben mit unseren 3 Kindern 4 Tage im Hotel Westin verbracht. Das Hotel ist exlusiv und sehr schön. Der Pool ist gross und schön aber das Wasser ist nicht in Top-Qualität gepflegt. Das Hotel ist ziemlich abgelegen, vondem man aber vorher informiert wird beim buchen. Der Frühstückraum ist leider viel zu klein, was dazu führt dass man in einer Kolonne […] anstehend eingewiesen wird. Das Personal macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. 더 보기

très bel hôtel, accueillant: c'est un hôtel de luxe donc les consommations( nourriture, boisson, Spa) sont assez cher.

Wir waren dort mit unseren 2 Kindern und waren sehr Zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend und extrem Kinderfreundlich. Hier und da koennte etwas renoviert werden aber ansonsten ist der Zustand der Anlage sehr gut und alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der einzigen Kritikpunkt den ich habe sind die Preise der Restaurants und […] des Spas. Ist beides relativ teuer aber da man auch in naeherer Umgebung Ausweichmoeglichkeiten hat, hat es mich nicht so sehr gestoert. Ich wuerde dieses Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. 더 보기

Dette er et av de fineste og beste hotell jeg og min samboer har bodd på. Her har man alt man trenger og beliggenheten er perfekt. Det ligger for seg selv men bare ca 1 km fra ferje teminalen der det er butikker. Det var også andre gode restauranter i nærheten også, for de som ikke vil spise på hotellet hele ferien. Vil spesielt nevne seilklubben som […] ligger noen hundre meter unna hotellet og Fair cafe som servete indisk , arabisk og vestlig mat. Disse er å anbefale. Vi leide scooter på øya og reiste rundt for å se på hotell og strender. Vi ønsket først å bo på casa del mar som blir anbefalt som nr 1 på tripadvisor men etter å ha reist rundt å sett på de fleste hotellene ville vi ha valgt The westin igjen. 더 보기

The Westin är ett riktigt bra hotell med vackert läge, bra service och härlig mat. Hotellet ligger nära staden Kuah men området runt hotellet är inte speciellt mysiga. De lokala restaurangerna var inte heller toppen även om du äter billigt och gott. Detta hotell är bra om du vill njuta av att vara på hotellet. Maten är bra men det är hotellpriser. […] Utsikten riktigt härlig och hotellet har mycket hög servicegrad. Skulle gärna åka tillbaka hit! 더 보기
