칸티푸르 템플 하우스 (Kantipur Temple House) - 카트만두

우리는 4박 5일 동안 머물렀고, 나름 즐겼습니다. 아주 인상적인 호텔이었고, 이름 처럼 절에 있는 듯한 느낌을 받았습니다. 방은 평이 했습니다. 그리고 환경 친화적인 호텔을 추가해서 에어컨이 없었습니다. 로비에는 무료 인터넷 서비스가 있고, 레스토랑은 아주 맛있는 음식을 제공해 줍니다. 밤에 맥주를 마시면서 밖에 앉아 있으면 아주 편안하고 유쾌해 집니다. 직원들은 매우 호의적이었고 고객을 유쾌하게 만들기 위해 모든 것을 다했습니다. 이 호텔은 Thamel 구역의 옆에 위치하고 있으며, 잘 관리되고 있었습니다. 다시 이 호텔에 가고 싶네요.

농장들과 연계된 녹색 실천의 철학과 지속가능함과 유기농 제품의 제공은 이 호텔을 추천하는 한 가지 이유입니다. 다른 이유는 서비스를 함에 있어 고객지향적으로 생각한다는 것과 결국 이것이 고객들을 편안하고 안락하게 만든다는 것입니다. 네팔 음식들과 함께하는 좋은 레스토랑도 있습니다.

고유의 유산을 고이 간직하고 있는. 직원들은 프로처럼 일을 했고 호의적이었습니다. 비록 우리에게 다음날 일어났던 bandah(일반적인 파업)에 대해 알려주지는 않았지만. 이 파업은 우리의 여행 일정을 바꿔놓았지요. 우리는 우연한 기회에 신문을 통해 알게 되었다는 택시 기사로 부터 그 소식을 접하게 되었습니다. 방 빼고는 모든 것들이 좋았습니다. 방은 아주 깨끗하긴 했지만, 제가 느끼기엔 황폐해 보였습니다. 무료 인터넷 서비스와 미네랄 워터는 좋았습니다. 레스토랑에서의 Nepali 저녁은 아주 좋았어요. 전체적으로는 저는 이러한 가치와 카트만두에서의 좋은 즐거움을 때문에 이 호텔을 추천하겠습니다.

We cashed in on a free night with hotels.com and were delighted with the deluxe room. Its a lovely haven from the dusty, noisy streets around about in Kathmandu.

My friends and i stayed there for 4 nights during dec. (+) very nice architecture, good location- away from the hustle n bustle of kathmandu, it is also near to eating places n thamel area, it's also just a walking distance to places like garden of dreams, rani pokhari n durbar square. The staff also provides good n prompt service. They do not have […] an electric kettle but they can provide a pot/ kettle of hot water when requested. They have back-up light during the power outages n best of all, they'll keep u warm in the winter cold w a heater, hot water bottle n electric blanket. (-): being an eco- friendly hotel, they have no tv n elevators in the four storey hotel. However you can call the porter to help you with the luggage. The food served can be more pricey than what you can find in thamel area. Also, u may not be able to access wifi in certain rooms- it depends on ur luck! All in all, kantipur was the best accommodation we had in nepal, in comparison to other hotels that we stayed in. We had a pleasant time and wouldn't mind staying there again should we come to visit nepal. 더 보기

Clean,comfortabel,quiet! The architecture is very traditional and beautiful. Please pay attention that there is no TV in the room.

No problem staying in a two star property if you're told it's a two star and you choose it. this is not a three star property. Period. Meals are very, very expensive relatively. Claiming a "organic" selection, not clear that's so. Internet works, internet doesn't work. Power is on, blackout, generated power on, then off, no one follows the schedule. […] It's fun for a bit managing one's power... Then tiresome.This property is all about what's in it for them, profit. A little more on the guest, a lot less seeming only on what they can make. Overpriced for what it is. However, that being said. If you choose a two star and want a unique experience this is perfect for you. Really cool looking, different boutique experience. Rooms are flavorful... Don't forget to wait minutes for hot water and to do was the hotel directs use the "blue bucket" to fill it with water for the maid from the overflow in the shower. Oh, beware... Kathmandu is one of the most polluted cities I have ever been in, and that includes many in Asia and Africa. Filthy! But, very, very interesting.... 더 보기

This hotel is very well located and with alot of character. There are no TV's in the room and it is very eco-friendly. I likethe fact that they have 3 computers and free internet access, both wi-fi and through their computers. The food is good, also. Below are my detailed experiences during my stay at Kantipur temple house in Katmandu. the services provided by staff are very on point but overall the staff are honest and friendly. This is very important for everyone to know that everywhere in Nepal has various hours of daily scheduled blackout (no electricity). In the case of this hotel and surrounding […] neighborhoods it was 12 hours at various time according to the days on their calendar. And yes, I will point out that the blackout will affect you at night so be careful and I caution everyone to bring a flash light especially when crossing the street. The night is BLACK. Also, this hotel is equipped with wifi so u may bring your own computer in case you need to make calls on skype (hint!). you have the option of using the hotel internet site but it is of no use when there is a scheduled blackout and you need to use the internet for any reason. You can use the hotel's phone to make long distance calls but it can be very expensive. FYI: I was told that the sim card from a foreign coutntry cannot be "topped up" in Nepal (but I digress). the hotel is very ecofriendly so staff frown upon the use of any plastic containers including water bottles. they will provide water to you free of charge along with standard 27 oz water container for you to borrow for the duration of your hotel stay. I want to add that without electricity heat/air conditioner are affected but staff member usually go out of their way to accomodate you for your convenience- just ask! Dont be surprised when you see service charge along with VAT charge on your bill for all chargeable services. As it was explained to me these service charges are charges that pays the staff members. So you may think of it as a tip if you will. They have great tour assistance provider who is very knowledgeable with all your Nepal travel needs. However, I would also encourage to shop around for competitive deals because there are so many tour providers in a very short 더 보기

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from all the sights and sounds of Thamel. It is a traditional style hotel, and not one of those standard chains. Does not have all the bells and whistles (no TV, small bathroom), but wireless internet is available at no charge and the service is excellent. I was so relieved to check into Kantipur Temple House after 48 hours of flying, on cheap airline tickets, from California. As a young female traveling alone, I was immediately concerned about my safety. But the man at the desk (they all speak wonderful English) circled the surrounding areas that I should be careful in at night and told me, frankly, […] not to worry about it. The house is charming, the rooms beautifully decorated and stocked with all of the amenities. The staff went above and beyond to help me during my stay: I didn't bring a laptop (although they have free wifi) and needed to check-in for my flight on the way back out. So one of the managers walked me across the street to his office and allowed me to use his personal computer. On my last day I was looking around desperately for some good food that I could bring on the plane and eat during my dreading 7 hour layover in the Delhi airport. Antoher employee at the desk said the kitchen could make me up some sandwhiches, no problem. They sent me home with a perfectly packaged lunch box of wrapped veggie sandwhiches (with the crust cut off!) and chips. The small things really impressed me. This is a great find. The Hotel people are gracious and staying there is like staying in one of the old Palaces in Nepal. One slightly bothersome thing is the electricity is only on about half the time in Nepal and some very luxury hotels have their own generator. But the Kantipur was very good in comparison with another hotel we stayed at in a different […] town. Nepal and this hotel is a wonderful place to visit. LOved this hotel! It is eco-friendly, very comfortable, charming, quiet and had great service! Food was excellent also! Like an oasis of peace and quiet right near busy downtown Kathmandu.

Une architecture népalaise traditionnelle magnifique, un havre de paix à quelques minutes à pied du quartier touristique de Tamel. Le personnel est attentionné et aimable. Un séjour très agréable malgré quelques éléments (coupures d'électricité fréquentes à Kathmandou, eau chaude capricieuse...). Nous le recommandons sans hésiter.

位于泰米尔街一处静谧之地，旁边还是破房子和垃圾场，院墙里面确实一派仙境。客人不多显得格外宁静和神秘，价格有点小贵，其他都很好！

Fantastisk hotell. Hotellet i seg selv er en atrasjon. Negativt at strømmen stadig går

加都虽乱，但该酒店确给我留下了十分美好的回忆。不仅酒店建筑有特色，房间的服务也很好，考虑很周到，有取暖器、电热毯，还可以要热水器，很舒适，是不错的选择，只是价格稍贵。

Vi var meget tilfredse med vores ophold. Der blev taget godt hånd om os og de var godt forberedte på at det er koldt i Nepal i Januar måned. (Vi var i Indien før det og der er de IKKE forberedte!) Der var varmeovn på værelset og om aftenen blev der leveret varmedunke til døren. Så, en meget hjemlig atmosfære. De har en øko-venlig indstilling til ting, […] så der var fri mineralvand for at spare på brugen af plastflasker. Dog betød det også at der ikke var strøm, wi-fi eller varmt vand mellem kl 10 og kl 20 (men der er man alligevel ude og se byen). Der er computer/printer til fri afbenyttelse. Restauranten var dog noget dyr i Nepal-sammenhæng, og service charge og tax ødelægger lidt stemningen. Til gengæld slipper man så for konstant at skulle give drikkepenge. 더 보기

Hôtel de charme authentique et sympathique, agrémenté d'un joli jardin fleuri et soigné. Le calme qui y règne est appréciable dans cette grande ville bruyante. Il est situé à 5 min. d'un quartier très vivant, quoique très touriste. En hiver, un chauffage d'appoint efficace est installé dans les chambres.Coupures d'électricité fréquentes, mais... habituelles […] en hiver dans toute la ville. Il y a néanmoins un éclairage de secours mais qui ne vous permettra pas de recharger votre appareil photo.... Y penser avant ! Personnel agréable, repas très moyen. Remarque : hôtel écologique. 더 보기

I did appreciate the hotel as such and the building is definitely amazing. Also, the staff is nice. However, the lack of electricity for most of the day and thus, no internet connection, is not convenient for business travellers. As a tourist, I would definitely consider booking it though.

very beautiful building and friendly service. such a quiet place in crowd and noise capital city. A truly Oasis. The manager of the hotel even help us to arrange the rafting things. BTW, the call for environment protect very impressive.

Excellent ! Et particulièrement pour tout voyageur ayant besoin de repos, de paix et de ressourcement dans un établissement de haute qualité, tant au plan du cadre, de l'hôtellerie que de la restauration... et situé dans l'immédiate proximité d'un centre fort animé ! (et c'est un euphémisme). NB- Se munir d'une lampe de poche (ou frontale) du fait des […] coupures d'électricité, imprévisibles et pluri quotidiennes, qui plongent brutalement la ville dans l'obscurité...
