호텔 마제스틱 팰리스 (Hotel Majestic Palace) - 소렌토

-Not a 4star hotel but maybe a 3star. An old hotel that used to be good but nowdays it is just ok.

Adjoining rooms for our family of four were spacious, very clean and comfortable. We could see the mountains and the ocean from our balconies. Buffet breakfast was very good. Reception staff was excellent. Nice outdoor, unheated pool but it closed at 6:30 p.m. Restaurant was good. One pool towel for the duration of your stay. We stayed in this hotel recently for a two night stop in Sorrento. The location is excellent, with trains, restaurants and shops nearby. If taking the train get off at the stop before Sorrento station (Sant Angello), its only a 5 minute walk to the hotel and you will save yourself a taxi fare. The room was lovely and spacious and seems to have been […] modernised recently. Unfortunately the bathroom hadn’t been modernised – there were a few cracked tiles and ants crawling up and down the walls of the bathroom. Food and drinks were expensive, but we found a lovely restaurant/cafe-bar on the seafront which is only a few minutes from the hotel. The pool was very busy but if you want to get away from the crowds check out the roof top terraces on the 2nd and 5th floors. They both have deckchairs and were deserted. 더 보기

After the horrible experience of the Circumvesuviana train, the hotel was a very refreshing sight. Beautiful grounds with an pool in front led us to a nice lobby. This was a much different hotel than what we had seen on the rest of our Italian trip. The room was extremely spacious, with a nice balcony overlooking the hotel's garden and the bay of Naples. […] The bathroom was also very large, with an oversize tub an a corner shower. Our bathroom showed a couple signs that the cleaning staff wasn't that attentive to details but nothing major. The hotel is in Sant'Agnello, and it was about a 25 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento. It's also easy to get there by public bus. However, when we asked two different front desk employees for bus directions to Marina Piccola to get the ferry to Naples on our departure day, we got very imprecise directions and we then needed to ask passersby for help. A little more care in this type of thing would go a long way. The breakfast buffet was much more extensive than anything else we'd gotten in the rest of our trip but the coffee was horrible. This hotel certainly provided very good value for the price we paid and I would stay there again. 더 보기

This hotel is in an upscale residential neighborhood. It is down hill all the way from the main road or train station. You can continue past the hotel, a 10 minute walk and reach the cliffs with a great view of the sea and a great restaurant. The hotel is very clean, rooms are large. This seems to be a hotel the tour groups use. The mai tre d in the […] dining room was the biggest minus of our stay. It would start every morning about 5 am you could hear him bullying and arguing with the kitchen staff. The kitchen has large windows and they are open, so everyone can hear. Had to buy ear plugs. He was also very rude in the dining room. Asked for regular tea bags and he said no, not today. What??? Food was so so, needs improvement, breakfast was buffett but always cold. Location is nice but not user friendly. Long walk back up the hill to catch a crowded bus to Sorrento. Sorrento is a 10 minute bus ride. Hotel had a van for their guests but not when you really needed it. Would not give us a ride to the ferry with all our luggage. It was a 10 minute ride. Had to drag them all uphill and wait for the C bus that never came and missed the ferry. Would not stay there again. Customer service is not great. 더 보기

The rooms aren't frilly, but I liked this. Our room was very spacious and had an air of old-fashioned chic, with tiled floors and large wooden French windows. The bar and pool area is very nice and it's a 5-ish minute walk from the Circumvesuviana train station, which takes you towards Pompeii, Ercolano and Naples. Buses also go to Positano from nearby. […] I felt the hotel was excellent value for the price we paid, and I would definitely stay there again. The restaurant only serves a set menu after 3:00pm, which is pricey, so we didn't ear there. Breakfast is an extensive buffet, although the food doesn't taste great (slightly processed/reconstituted taste). Staff were very helpful and the rooms very clean. 더 보기

As american's traveling in Italy, this hotel was perfect. Clean, pretty, staff was wonderful, pool was nice, location good, air conditioning fabulous. I would highly reccommend this hotel. We stayed in 4 other hotels and this by far was the best. All the hotels we stayed in were all 4 star around the same price as the Majestic, this was a relaxing  […] stay. 더 보기

We had a wonderful stay. The service at the reception and the breakfast was friendly and professional. The breakfast very good and the rooms (old fashion) were ample, clean and well maintained. The parking was expensive. We will surely recommend it to our friends.

Our room was very nice and had doors that opened up to a terrace. The bed was a king but was not very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good and nice that it was included in the room fee. We always found a parking spot on the street. Town centre was a walk but after those Italian dinners we had to walk! We had a rental car so it was an easy location […] to start from for day drives to the surrounding towns. 더 보기

Tutte le aspettative sono state ampiamente soddisfatte, dal primo contatto alla fine del soggiorno abbiamo sempre sentito la cortesia e l'attenzione di tutto il personale.

Este hotel tiene el sabor clásico de los hoteles elegantes de los años 50, pero con actualixzación a nuestros días. Elegante, con glamour, especialmente los salones y el comedor, con todos sus empleados de etiqueta, pero con una exquisita amabilidad y servicialidad. Por la noche suele haber música en directo. La piscina está bien, aunque a partir de […] las 6 de la tarde ya no le dá el sol. El único pero es que tanto en la piscina como en la habitación, había algunas hormigas. La localización es buena. Andando se llega en 20 mn a Sorrento. Es la mejor opción (otra es ir en bus: 2.40 €), porque llegar en coche hasta allí y luego aparcar es una locura). En definitiva, muy recomemendable. 더 보기

Personalet var venligt. Morgenmaden var okay. Lå tilpas væk fra trafikstøj. Okay solterasser med udsigt over bla, napolibugten vesuv og bjergene Hotellet var lidt slidt. Sengene hårde og ukomfortable.

Kritik : køleskabet er alt for lille. Man skal kunne opbevare en flaske vand og et par øl. Det var problematisk. Air condition anlæg larmede alt for meget. Bortset fra disse småting var det bestemt et dejligt sted at holde en uges ferie i nærhenden af Capri, Pompei, Vesuv osv.

Non c'e' molto di majestic di questo albergo, forse c'era 60 anni fa. detto questo, c'e' da dire che non e' male come albergo ed il personale e' molto disponibile (ci hanno montato subito un letto per il bimbo anche se non avevo avertito che ci sarebbe stato). direi piu' un 3 stelle che 4. da notare che e' a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro di sorrento […] e il percorso per arrivarci non e' tutto bello (c'e' una stradina interna molto carina ma non ti porta fino in centro). c'e' wifi gratis nella zona intorno alla reception. 더 보기

Very decent hotel with nice pool. Great value for money and close to both St Agnello and Sorrento (aprox 15 minutes walk).

This hotel has a very high standard and service. All rooms with balcony and a great view even on the back side. No traffic noise or other problems. Friendly staff, large pool, resonable breakfast.
