베란다 B&B (The Veranda Bed & Breakfast) - 올랜도

I stayed at Veranda on a business trip. Service was friendly, there was a great spot to park right outside the room. New finishes in the room were clean and neat. Private pool and a hot tub that I could control the temperature. Restaurants and pubs next door, and the hotel is located in a historic neighborhood district of bungalows. Stay was good. Enjoyed the front porch for enjoying the weather. Unit was immaculately clean. Walked 1 block for dinner, Starbucks, convcenience store, and great breakfasts at Dexters. Bed was comfortable with lovely, fluffy duvet and nice linens.

Perfect stay at this lovely BnB: very helpful staff, nice place with typical wooden houses, pool, jacuzzi, nice room. Lake is just 5 min away and there are lots of bars and restaurants around.

Lovely quaint little place, nice sheets comfortable bed,good television, nice shower.Room a lttle small but really OK. We were told it had a kitchenette but it did not, the only thing we missed about that was no coffee maker. Overall it was a lovely place in a lovely neighbourhood

We stumbled upon this B&B through hotels.com and could not have been more pleased! It is very quaint. If you're looking for an over the top oversized Orlando vacation room, then the queen room isn't for you since it's simply a queen bedroom and bathroom, but it was perfect and cozy for two. The pool area was small but perfect for our needs, and the […] manager (I believe) who checked us in was very helpful and nice. The surrounding area is absolutely awesome. Right across the street is an amazing pizza place and a BBQ place that we never had the time to get to. Down a little ways is starbucks, a frozen yogurt place, burrito joint, and some high class dining - sushi, fish, and american. And within 5-10 minutes you're at Lake Eola and in the heart of downtown. We would absolutely stay here again. With the quaint cozy atmosphere of the B&B itself, and the proximity to amazing establishments we were sold! 더 보기

We loved the Veranda and the quaint surrounding neighborhood. We parked and walked to a concert at the Amway...it was great! We loved the restaurants in the neighborhood and the world market around the lake on Sunday. We will definitely be back!

After having been assured by the innkeeper over the phone that the room was handicap accessible, we were greeted with a bed that was too high to climb on, no table, one uncomfortable chair, no handicap parking (a space 50 yards away-really???), and an uncovered ramp with no slip protection. There were so many security lights on the building that the […] room could not be darkened and the street noise was constant. There was so much charm to this cottage-style bed and breakfast, located so conveniently to downtown Orlando. I was in town for a two day conference and was able to walk past the beautiful Lake Eola to get to my destination. Alot of character around the B&B with restaurants and night life within walking distance. I was displeased, however, that I got […] one of the rooms I read about, the Sephoria, which had an electrical outlet right by the head of the bed that was not working. No light to read in bed or plug in my CPAP machine. They really need to get that fixed. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay. Didn't try breakfast, so can't comment on that. 더 보기

The staff was very friendly. I was surprised at how nice this place was. It is very close to downtown in a very nice neighborhood. Great price, Great place!!

The room was very small and poorly furnished yet cramped. One of the electrical outlets was dead so the bedside light plugged into it did not work. The "Continental Breakfast" was what one gets at a lower priced motel chain even though there is a Panera nearby. Parking was inconvenient - fortunately it did not rain during our stay. The Veranda was convenient […] to the government office we visited. All considered this is a tolerable place to stay, a bit expensive, with minimal amenities. I have a whole new perspective on Orlando after staying at this quaint, beautifully landscaped and well-kept 1900's B&B just outside of downtown Orlando. My husband and I live within driving distance so until our friends wedding at Cypress Grove over the weekend, we have never had a reason to stay in town. Let me just say that we may look for more excuses […] to do so in the future. The surrounding neighborhood of Thornton Park is filled with other adorable, well-maintained historic homes, boutiques, coffee houses & dining opportunities. Your literally minutes from the hustle and bustle of modern downtown yet this B&B and the surrounding area make you feel like you traveled back in time to the comforting neighborhoods of the early 1900's. I wish we had had more time to stay; the accomodations felt like we were on vacation yet right at home! 더 보기

When looking at the pictures, this bed and breakfast looks absolutely gorgeous. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and live in the country of Haiti as missionaries and this left alot to be desired and we will never stay here again. After seeing a very very small room, we thought about cancelling but could not, but the manager didn't even work […] with us. He made us pay to upgrade even though he only had 3 guest that night. We were not able to speak with him personally. If ever in downtown Orlando again, I would not stay here if my life depended on it! No hot breakfast either!!!! I have never been to a bed and breakfast without a nice, hot breakfast!!! 더 보기

This B&B was a great choice even though the reviews for it were not that good. The room I stayed in was very nice. It felt great to stay and enjoy myself with the other person who was there with me. The room was quaint and very inviting. I am not sure about any of their other rooms but the Europa room was awesome. The only downside is the availability […] of Parking on a busy night. But it wasn't hard to find a place to park. I only met one of the staff members through out the whole weekend. She made my stay very enjoyable. She had a great deal of information on the restaurants that were literally right outside the front gate of the B&B, along with other things to do in the area. Rates: I would call up the hotel and ask for booking first. Their nightly rates were a lot cheaper than the one that I bought it for on here. Very centrally located to downtown and other places of interest. I would definitely recommend this place to any of my friends who wants to go and see Orlando. 더 보기

I can not comment on the quality of the Continental Breakfasts. They were served after I and my party had to leave on our business appointments. The staff did upgrade our room to one that had a refrigerator. Parking is tricky and a little unnerving when you wake up to see that the gate was closed on the parking lot (ahh...another gate was opened around […] the block. Make sure you stock up on towels on Friday as service doesn't seem to be supplied to the rooms on the weekends. The neighborhood has all that you would need in walking distance. Although the local homeless can be a bit pushy even if you give them something. Still you can't beat the location to Orlando business district and the University. 더 보기
