Found out I like Kerrville and the restaurants on the river much better than Fredricksburg. The La Quinta appeared to be very new. Beds were comfortable and everthing was spotlessly clean. The only complaint I had was that the breakfast room was out of regular coffee when I went down rather late (almost 9am). I hadn't made coffee in the room because […] it tasted awful to me so I was very unhappy to have to stop someplace to get coffee. Went with another couple and the only complaint they had was that the pillows were too thick - and I agree. So I have to say I'd recommend it overall. 더 보기

Problems included nonworking coffee pot and towels with holes in them. Too few towels for 2 people. Room was very clean and location was great. Hotel staff polite.

Would have liked a queen size bed. All they had to offer were full size. Pool was nice, nothing great. Asked for extra towels because they only gave us 2. Had to go down to the desk to get them, no delivery service. Breakfast OK, nothing special. Just an OK hotel experience.

I travel for my work every month so I'm very critical to the conditions of the hotel. This place is very nice, very comfortable and very clean. The bed sheet is all white. It has business center and indoor pool. Overall is a very nice hotel to stay!

I stayed here for three nights one week, and again for 3 more nights for a second week. I thoroughly enjoyed the location, the quality of the help, and the customer service at the front desk.

Dog friendly hotels don't often understand the needs of dog owners. This one did, they had us in a ground floor room with a little grassy area right out front. There were several other dog walkers in the same area. The hotel is dated, the rooms could use flat screen TV and modernization but the internet worked, they were clean and very well located […] for the area. The night manager suggested an out of the way place to eat frequented by locals that was great. Breakfast was fun, and I posted my Texas shaped waffle on facebook for friends to see. 더 보기

Amazingly clean for a dog friendly motel!

I chose this hotel because I specifically wanted an indoor pool. While they did have an indoor pool, ALL the windows were open, the room wasn't heated, and the water was ICE COLD! My poor 5 year old was so looking forward to her first hotel visit and swimming in the pool. Tears abound! *sigh*

Great location, easy to get and out of. Very friendly staff. It appeared pretty clean. My only problem was the quality of the continental breakfast. It was very poor. Not only is the selection poor, it didn't seem to be fresh. And while it was supposed to be available until 9:00 AM, they started putting things up at 8:55 one morning. Unless you love bugs stay away from this hotel, there were so many ants in the bathroom it was horrible and then the front desk came and spray some smelly insecticide! The towels and sheets felt like sandpaper. We immediately put the AC on the lowest temperature setting because it was very hot in the room and it didn't cool down until about 6am. Very nice, open to pets. Conveniently located near the interstate, but takes much longer than expected to get across town which is where I was going. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was typical La Quinta, lacking options. But if you're traveling with pets, it is an excellent option.

The hotel was obviously old, but was clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing as the only "healthy" food they had was hard-boiled eggs. The cereals available were full of sugar, and the biscuits and gravy were full of salt. The waffles were good and probably not as unhealthy as the majority of other selections. The hotel was great. I expected more for the breakfast. I've had more variety at other LaQuinta Inns. They were pet friendly at this hotel but my dog acted like a jerk being left alone in the room. I didn't expect that from the dog and I am sorry for that. I would recommend this hotel to others especially with pets.

The hotel was typical for a La Quinta. The only problem we had was with the wireless. It was very intermittent reception.

My wife and I did not approve of the hotel allowing dogs ( especially big dogs ) to be walked around in the hotel. We were awaken once by a bark in the middle of the night, had a hard time going back to sleep. We feel the hotel management should consider placing families with dogs ( especially large ones ) in a section separated from the rest of us. […] In the hotel's defense I have to say; Yes, I did notice that the hotel did identify in their advertisement that they allowed dogs in there hotel. The service was great. The room was neat and clean, but the a/c had been off for some length of time. Apparently they had recently shampooed the carpets (in the hallway as well) and all felt damp and smelled a bit musty. When it's close to 100 degrees outside and carpets are wet, things can get musty. Wish they had left the a/c on (even at 78 - 80 degrees) […] to remove the dampness and let the carpets dry out. Clean, quiet, friendly & helpful staff. On the "main drag" which makes it easy to find but busy street can make it challenging to get in and out of hotel, but that's a common problem for most of the hotels in Kerrville. We will stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Room was nice and clean. The only thing I could complain about was that there was no ice machine on the second floor at all, had to go to first or third floor for ice.
