great staff clean very happy with my stay

Nice decor, great people, Great price.

love that room has coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave

Overall our stay was great. The staff was very nice and room was clean.

I'm a WORLD TRAVELED person. There was NO HINT of a warm greeting when checking in, when I asked the MOST SIMPLE QUESTIONS I still felt this person picked me to continue their BAD DAY with Yes I've stayed @ this location times before. I typically find Best Western's to be a good value, but this particular Best Western (which is not a 'plus' or a 'premiere') is outstanding. It looks like a Mediterranean village, has a nice pool area and a really nice breakfast set-up. The rooms are spotless and very modern! And the hotel people are very friendly. However, the best part is that it's […] right on Ventura Blvd. You can walk across the street to a Coffee Bean location or Jerry's Famous Deli and Monty's, a high-end steak house, in only a block away. I had co-workers staying at a neighboring hotel. They were totaly dissatisfied with their rooms and I tried to get them to move to Best Western. I was very impressed and satisfied with the accommodations, price and delicious continental breakfast.

Showed up at the hotel after eating dinner, and had to park on to a shady overflow lot next door. Not too happy about leaving my car in an unsecure lot overnight.

The linen was not so fresh but otherwise room was clean. It would help if breakfast time could be lengthened to about 9:30/10:00 but otherwise it was a good experience.

It is a motor lodge so if you're looking for fancy, this isn't it. But it was clean, comfortable, quiet. I liked it. Considering it is right on Ventura Blvd. I thought it would noisy, and when you step out of your room, it is sort of. But inside, I didn't hear traffic at all. I'd recommend.

1) Parking was free 2) The neighborhood is great. There are 2 or 3 of each of the following within 3 blocks: Deli & Sandwich shops, Indian restaurants, Sushi places, coffee shops, liquor stores, pharmacy, and grocery stores. This motel doesn't deserve the hotels.com 3-star rating. The room configuration isn't apparent in pictures seen on hotels.com. The windows are situated near the door opening into the corridor. A good place to stay in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. The hotel was very clean and attractive looking. Located close to many restaurants of every style. Close to 101 Freeway. Good value for price. What would you expect for a 3 star hotel. Good strong shower. Comfortable bed. Surrounding area was middle to lower end.

It has a great location if you are involved with the WARNER CENTER or NORTHROP GRUMMAN; it also is near JERRY'S historic deli, and decent restaurants are in the area.

Good location. Close to many restaurants and businesses, clean and well lit parkinglot, but very noisy air conditioner fan.

The price was right - and the hotel was very good for the price. Nothing fancy but clean rooms, everything in working order. The receptionist was very friendly so was the man next morning. The breakfast was just as expected. Definitely recommend since close to Warner Center and also not too far from Burbank area.

Overpriced motel, will not feel the comfort of a nice hotel.

I booked this hotel with a decent picture inside and outside but worried about the parking issue after reading other reviewers. I had two main issues. First, the hotel lobby that offered the breakfast was too crowded and there was not enough seats for people who gathered for the breakfast. Second, i needed to print something by using the office, located […] in the lobby and the business computer was dead ( not working at that time) and the front desk lady didn't know how to fix the problem. I asked her whether I can hook up my own laptop to their office printer to print the stuff and she has no idea who to do that. With a short time pressure, I ended up going to Kinko near by area and spent another $10 to print stuff that I needed on that morning. I was not happy about staff's lack of support. I would not recommend anyone to this hotel if they want to stay there for business trip. 더 보기

We've been at this hotel before and it was a really pleasant experience. Well, we had to come back just to make sure that it wasn't a dream. It's still nice. Different room, everything was clean, the staff was super helpful and friendly. Plenty of places to shop close by. We took a bus to Universal Studios and it costs us $1.50 each way. We stayed here to be close but not to close to all the must see/do things. This is a small hotel. We stayed in a room with an outside door. Not alot of noise or commotion. We stayed three nights and were satisfied. Pretty close to Universal studios. A bit cold in the pool maybe. Would stayed there again.

I was very pleased with the hotel. Simply close to everythinng i needed. Slept well. Hotel was quiet at night. Free parking. Walking distance to a dozen restaraunts. Good value

For anyone looking to stay on the west side of the San Fernando Valley, I recommend this hotel. It is clean, easy to find (on Ventura), the staff are helpful and when faced with a full car park when returning late at night, alternative parking is available. In addition, it is located directly opposite the Warner Plaza for convenient dining (Jerry's […] Diner), early morning coffee (Coffee Bean), general supplies (Ralph's) and a liquor store and newsagent on the corner of the block. I have stayed at multiple hotels in the area, and have a few favorites but this time they were booked. This is an older hotel. The A/C in my room could not get the room cool even though it was not a hot day. The breakfast they offer is limited and area for breakfast is very small.

This hotel was more than I expected. I was kind of unsure about the area, but the hotel was quiet and I felt safe. I stayed there by myself and I had no worries. The hotel is clean and in a decent location, although the bed was lacking in comfort. The only problem I had was the receptionist at the desk when I checked in was very abrupt and patronizing when asked basic questions, which was frustrating. This did not set a good first impression. Other staff were more friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for business and it worked fine for me, but probably wouldn't stay here again. It was a motel with a facelift, that's about it. Close to a lot of food, parking was easy and car was safe, room worked fine and was big enough. Outside of hotel and lobby looked very nice. The interior needs to be updated. The staff were fantastic, a very decent continental breakfast, so conveniently located near lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance, 30 mins or less away from most things that are worth seeing, we will definitely stay here again.

More than I was expecting. Very nice had everything you would need. Internet, Microwave, fridge, Ironing board and Iron, coffee in room, Soap,shampoo and hair dryer. We stayed at the Best Western on the basis of stays at other Best Western hotels during this trip wihch were fantastic. Compared to these, the Best Western Woodlands was a bit of a disappointment unfortunately. The rooms we were given looked nothing like the pictures shown on their website or this one. They were quite small and very dark. The air conditioning […] was very noisy which you particularly noticed at night as it switched on and off. However, not as noisy as the road noise. Not sure what rooms other reviewers were staying in, but we found our rooms far from quiet because of the noise from the road. All in all i would recommend the hotel for a one night stopover, but not much more. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly the breakfast room staff. 더 보기

Decent hotel for the price, but a bit on the smelly side. You get what you pay for with this one, the area isn't bad and there's a shopping plaza right across from the hotel.

Don't let the picture of the room deceive you. The picture is of their "spa room", of which they have one. The other rooms are terrible. The AC is one of those motel ones which is extremely loud. So loud, we had to shut it off. This in turn made the outside noise unbearable and I had to resort to earplugs. In the morning the earplugs were not good enough […] to drown out the housekeepers talking and laughing in the parking lot not to mention their rolling the cleaning cart across the parking lot. All this was around 8am. Not being able to sleep, I went for the breakfast. Wow, was that fascinating. I am not sure the coffee they served could qualify as such.
