Going to this hotel was a hurried decision, after I cancelled my stay at a more expensive and terrible hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, and will use them again in the future. The room I stayed in, looked just like the one in pictures 4-10 (top row). It lists free WiFi in all rooms: not true. There is only wired internet: a problem […] if you are traveling with a MacBook Air (like me), or other wireless device with no ethernet port. The hotel provided me a loaner WiFi router, I could use in my room. This was one of many times, that the great staff would make this one of the better hotel stays I’ve ever had. The front desk always came through, regardless of what I needed, with a smile. On the same street, there are several small stores and local restaurants, including one next door (open until 3 a.m.). There are two, 24-hr ATMs, at the other end of the street. The hotel is a 10 min. cab ride from Deira City Center: a 3-story shopping mall full of stores and restaurants. It is also where you catch the BigBus tours. Tour agencies pick-up at the hotel as well. The hotel has it's own restaurants inside, but check the lobby pub. The food is ok, but it's the Russian girl cover band with belly/folk dancing that make it a must see. It is 20 min. by cab to the airport. It is a nice place to stay, without breaking the budget, and it is conveniently located to other places of interest. It is rated as a 4 star hotel, which the room definitely is but not the bathroom. The bathroom was clean but nothing special and could do with a renovation. The shower was over the bath tub. Location of the hotel is good and a 5-10 minute walk from Salah Al Din Metro stop on the green line. I have stayed at the Marco Polo 4 times, All the staff are friendly, they welcome you with a cold glass of orange on arrival, they let me check in early as i arrived at 8am, I will always go back to the Marco Polo

The supervisor(seems like a Russian woman) is treating her worker very bad. I just could not believe she acted this way front of the customer. Besides this issue, everything was wonderful!

Very bad experience,we had booked non-smoking but put into a smoking room. Paid for Polo Club room that was a total waste of money. The room was not as described and did not include every thing as advertised. The staff are scruffy (waitress wearing denim jeans at breakfast).The breakfast is very poor for the price. Not a great area. Room was nice, but reception and rest of hotel a bit "tired". VERY Noisy Nightclub in the hotel - we were on top floor and still were "feeling" the bass notes!!

I'm a DoD employee working in Afghanistan and have to travel through Dubai enroute to the states. The Marco Polo is where I regularly stay. My last stay was from 2-5 December 2011. This last stay I had issues getting the complimentary internet up in my room, but the staff resolved this quickly. One thing I would warn guest of is using the phone in your […] room. This stay was the first time I've used my room phone and ended up with a phone bill for over $100 for 7 phone calls and 3 of them I didn't even speak to anyone at the other end. Those 3 calls were a total of 80 AED ($21) . I was using my international phone card and did not realize I was still being charged by the hotel. Imagine my shock when I got my final bill at checkout. I was informed by the front desk that were phones within the hotel for calling card calls. It was a little too late for me, but make sure you are cautious of that if you should have to use the phone. This hotels profile was deceiving on hotels.com. When I walked into the lobby I had second thoughts, but ignored them and decided to give this hotel a try. The lobby looked dusty and hadn't been cleaned for awhile. My hotel room at first glance looked nice, however after being in my rom for awhile I started to discover various things. The phone had […] a build up of dust on it. The bathroom reminded me of a cruise ship bathroom, "small", and that also wasnt the cleanest. Called down for extra towels and it took over 20 minutes to receive them. I was so glad to check out after my last night, and made the decision to never stay there again. Everything was great about this hotel apart from the fact that it us located directly under a flight path, even with earplugs in we could still hear them! If you're a light sleeper don't stay here or anywhere in Deira north of the creek,

Rooms are too small for such amount of money, bathroom is not good at all, towels are so old, no basic needs in bathroom. room service is not responding to needs.

Decent hotel. Clean, business hotel. Close to the airport. Good value for money.

Hotel is only 15 minutes from airport and was on a main road close to 3 supermarkets. Service was very good. I had no room service menu in my room when i arrived but not only did they send one up within 5 minutes but next morning the cleaning supervisor came to apologise. Room was very nice and stuff was very friendly and helpful. all taxi driver knew this hotel just told them by name it made my stay so easy.

A wonderful stay from start to end. Hospitality was great. The welcome drink on arrival was much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The automatic day and night curatins were a nice touch. Very easy to get a taxi from right outside the hotel. Overall a delightful experience.

I have stayed at several hotels in Dubai, and this one was a great surprise. It was quite a bargain for the money. The hotel staff were all very helpful, and the rooms were clean. I was thrilled to find a place with free internet, as most hotels in Dubai charge ridiculous per-hour fees for the service. I will definitely be coming back to this place […] in the future. 더 보기

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. the location situated us, it was clean, staff very polite and helpful. The bed linens were clean and bed, wonderfully comfortable even for my pregnant sister!!!!!

Das Marco Polo hat mich positiv überrascht. Der Eingang und Reception scheint mittelmässig. Die Zimmer machen mir einen renovierten Eindruck (neuste LED Beleuchtung, Flatscreen TV...). Den Flugverkehr ist gut hörbar da das Hotel in der Verlängerung des Dubai Airports ist, dafür ist es gerade mal 15 min zum Flughafen. Den Preis finde ich OK!

Es handelt sich um ein preisgünstiges Hotel. Nachteil: es liegt in der Anflugschneise des Flugplatzes Dubai. Allerdings trifft dies auf beinahe alle Hotels im Quartier Deira zu. Auch auf die viel teureren.

cet hôtel est confortable, calme avec tous le nécessaire pour passer des bons moments : resto, discothèques, piscine. Il est situé dans une rue commerçante avec une grande allée piétonne ombragée. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très serviable.

Vi hade en Polo club rum och ändå var storleken på badrummen under all kritik, det gick knappt att vända sig om. Massor med oljud från trafik och flygplan. Annars kanonsköna sängar och fint rum.

Ligger mycket nära flygplatsen men man hör inte ett ljud från passerande flygplan eller annat. Fräscha rum och mycket gästvänlig personal.
