Very good location for the key features of the city. Safe, clean, a helpful staff, plenty of nearby eating options. We, 60 year old married couple, would go back.

Overall the hotel was very nice but there were some simple maintenance problems such as: bulbs needed to be replaced, very slow drain in shower/bath... a feeling that things needed to be renovated. The housekeeping was fabulous..always cleaned and neatened. I booked a superior room months ahead and we ended up supposedly "upgraded" ..a very nice room […] except it was in an airshaft...some upgrade !... 더 보기

hotel was amazing the staff were the best i have ever had and that the food was excellent, was the best first romanic holiday i have ver had with the misses.

We loved the location of this hotel since it was so close to the Uffizi. The hotel was lovely, very nice decor, and the rooms comfortable and very clean. While we liked this hotel overall, we originally had a room (#501) next to the elevator shaft and you could hear it as it went up and down - it was very loud and kept us awake. We asked for another […] room and the hotel provided us with a lovely room that was much quieter. The gentleman at the front desk said no one had complained of the elevator noise in his 25 years of working at the hotel which I found impossible to believe since it was disturbing and continued until after 1AM and started very early in the morning. Bathrooms were very clean and updated with lovely towel warmers. The breakfast room as a delight and the service overall was very good. We would go back to this hotel and request a room away from the elevator since this was our only real issue. The sheets were 100% linen which you may or may not like. We found them to be beautiful but a little stiff. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was unremarkable. 더 보기

Beautiful lobby and bar area, good location, decent price. At check in the staff was polite but did not go out of their way to make you feel truly welcome. We booked an Executive Double which is on a special floor and the room was very nice albeight small then what would be expected. The big problem was the whole hallway smelled like raw sewage and […] it never went away for the three days we were there. Additionally, when we checked in it was stuffy inside and we could not get the air conditioning to work. We called the front desk to have it looked at and were informed that would be impossible as there is no air conditioning from November to April. Nice suprise. Unfortunately they were having a warm spell and when you opened the windows it did nothing to cool the room, however it did add to the sewage smell. 더 보기

Outstanding Location, Staff arrange for a private tour to Siena & San Gimminiano with Fabrizio and that was the cherry to our trip....don't think twice and book this hotel!!!

Great location. Great service. Terrific breakfast buffet. Room was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. I would suggest you avoid the hotel bar as the prices are too high. Otherwise, I would definately recommend this hotel and stay there again.

wonderful location with all the modern comforts in a beautiful old building, great service

We stayed at the Bernini Palace for 3 nights and were delighted with our choice. You could not choose a better location. It is a stone's throw from the Uffizzi Gallery and the Piazza della Signoria where all the action is. It is less than a 10 minute stroll to the Duomo. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice our 2 rooms were. One was a superior room […] and the other a triple (which simply meant it was slightly larger and they brought in a cot). The beds are comfortable and the decor is updated, but still has some charming details like a canopy over the bedhead and a chandelier over the bed. The only disappointment was breakfast. The breads were stale and the choice very limited. You are better off eating at the lovely cafe/patisserie directly across the street from the hotel. 더 보기

What a perfect location! Just a few steps from everything: beautiful piazzas, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, etc.. Location was ideal! The hotel is very pretty with a nice lobby & bar area. The room was nice but very noisy hearing the busy side streets below. If I return I will ask for the highest floor. Overall, I would say it's a best bet for the money.

I booked a classic double and did not notice it was for one person!!!! You MUST INDICATE that it is for TWO even if it says its a double. We got the smallest boring room ever, for the first night. Once they realized there were two of us they made every effort to upgrade us the second night. We completely enjoyed our stay at Bernini Palace in Florence. The hotel is ideally located for touring the city on foot, is beautifully appointed, has quiet and comfortable accomodations, and the breakfast (included in our package) was outstanding! We would definately stay there again and recommend to friends.

The hotel is in the perfect location. Cannot be better. Bedroom was a little small but decor made up for it. Bathroom was larger and nicer than expected. Over all everything was wonderful. Staff was very helpful when needed. Highly recommended.

This hotel has the Tuscan charm one might be looking for. Although one may not spend a lot of time inside the hotel, it is great knowing the staff is available to help with anything you might need. The hotel is located in the heart of everything you want to see and experience too! I would stay there again and again......

perfect location, walk to all the sites from this hotel, save totally on not using the taxis. All sites are walkable within 15 minuets or less. Staff is friendly and rooms are nicely done.

We absolutely loved our stay. At first we were a little disappointed when we realized we had no view, but the next morning when we were able to sleep uninterrupted it was a blessing. The rooms are fun, the staff great, the location wonderful. Lots of walking convenience. We would definitely stay at Bernini Palace again.

Our stay at Bernini hotel was good, except the breakfast was poor.There was no food for vegan guests and the cut fruit was not fresh( pineapple, melon). Also cut vegetables ( tomatos, salad) was not fresh. We expected much more from such a hotel! With blessings!

Nice hotel, the staff was very helpful when we had questions. Overall location was very convienant for the tourist site, train station and resturants. a few blocks away we found a nice little gelotto place owned by a Briish chap and his wife. Gorgeous hotel in a tremendous location. The breakfast was outstanding and everything about the hotel was first class. The room was very comfortable with quality amenities. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant on the first night of our arrival and it was fantastic. We attempted to duplicate our experience on our final night, however, that was not the […] case. The restaurant was unusually busy and apparently was overwhelmed and because of that the food did not compare to our first time. The service was great though and the staff did what they could to accomodate our requests. That being said this experience did not detract from our stay. 더 보기

The hotel is gorgeous and ideally located short walking blocks from the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, Medici Chapel as well as wonderful restaurants. The hotel is ideally located for sight-seeing in Florence and the rate we got on hotels.com was very good. The hotel is in a beautiful old palazzo (or a few combined together) but is not completely updated or cohesively connected within its own parts. The room was a very pleasant mini suite (small reading room off the bedroom). The location is one block from the Uffizi Gallery making this the center of the old town area of Florence. The only drawback was the bed. As mentioned by others, it was two single beds (not just the mattresses) shoved together, and made up separately. Dinner was expensive, […] and disappointing. Excellent spot in heart of Florence. Hotel very nicely appointed, but, because of city location, has no views. Internet accessible in lobby only, but it was free.

One block away from the Piazza della Signoria, this hotel was ideally situated. I find that in Italy sometimes the star rating of a hotel doesn't correspond well with reality. In this case, however, this hotel was truly deserving of four stars.

Top Lage, sehr guter Service, sehr sauber. Alles sehr gut, ausser Essen: Frühstucksangebot sollte erweitert werden, Qualität des Abendessens stark verbesserungswürdig.

Très bon acceuil, le personnel est très professionnel et toujours aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuné vaut le détour. Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait un hotel plus central car tout y est à 5mn à pieds. Je recommande vivement cet établissement. A très bientôt

Hôtel proche de tous les sites touristiques, à deux pas de la Plazza Della Signoria et des Offices. Toutes les visites peuvent se faire à pied. Personnel agréable et très serviable. Chambre confortable, un seul reproche elle était surchauffée et impossible de baisser la température pendant notre absence.
