In the evening you believe yuo have got a 4-bed room as everything your neighbour does or talks about is heard by yourself. And how do they hear me? The insulation between rooms must have been missed. Else it is a good hotel with high ambitions.

Very nice , clean hotel in a very convenient location. My husband and I went to London for the first time , we did not know what to expect. The room was really small, but we were out all day so it did not matter much. The room had a free safe and a tea kettle, which was perfect. It was well maintained. Overall, good deal.

Other reviewers stated that one wouldn't find anyone under 40 in the hotel. Wrong! the hotel was filled to capacity with families, young travelers, in .short, people of all ages. With this hotel's easy walk to Hyde Park, Notting Hill, the museum district, the Tube, Paddington Station, it couldn't be more convenient! the hotel has been completely remodeled […] for the Olympics. we would gladly stay there again. 더 보기

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - very comfortable room with all required facilities. Close to Lancaster Gate tube station on central line. 30 second walk from Hyde park. Would definately stay again.

The hotel is fine and the location couleurs not be betyder. But they charge 14 pounds a Day for wi-fi and they also charge keeping your suitcase for an hour when you have checked out.

This hotel was overall a decent place to stay for a few days in London. It was at a good location -- pretty much adjacent to Hyde Park. However, one major downfall is the surcharge for Wifi access. Recently decorated & spotlessly clean. There was a great choice for breakfast and staff were very helpful. Close to 2 tube stations but might be a struggle if carrying a largs case. Not a lot of choice of restaurants etc on in neighbourhood but options improve about 10 minutes walk away. Very nice hotel in a good and near by area of London. Close to Undergrounds and busses. Nice and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast- Dinning in the Hotel restaurnt was not good. The Food very dull...

Comfortable accomodation. Good value for a central London location. Efficient room service and good quality food.

The hotel is located in a great spot - just next to Kensington Gardens & Hyde Park - excellent if you wish to join the plentiful crowd taking jogs through the park. It is just 5 mins either side to Queensway or Lancaster gate subway & only half an hour's walk if you fancy a stroll back from Picadilly after an evening's meal. It's quite an old hotel […] & the carpets have seen better days, but they were cleaned every day from what we could see. The room size is average & depends on the location how much light is available. Breakfasts were pretty standard with hot & cold choices available. The room rates were not high - so no real complaints. There wasn't any hot water one morning when we were up a little late but guess that could happen anywhere. There was wi-fi available - though not cheap at £12. per 24 hours but that is per computer & we had 2 so took an upgrade option on the room to give free wi-fi. 더 보기

Good hotel in good position for exploring London, Room clean with moderate storage met our needs (if visiting on business or with more luggage I would ask for a superior room). South Kensington Musuems and Albert Hall are a pleasant walk across Kensington Gardens. The most convenient Underground is QUEENSWAY. There are at least three similar named hotels in this area. You can't expect much from 3 star hotels in London. So therefore my expectations weren't that high! But wow, I think it should be a 4 star hotel. I've stayed at 4 star hotel Hilton in London and Lancaster Gate is much better. It's cleaner, better service and the room was big! Stayed in 401. Any way, the fire alarm went off and just walked outside my door and the stafff said everything was ok. Good! The fuse went in my room (probably because of me using to much electricity at once). The hotel was clean, no sign of wear and tear, unlike many reviews posted. The only drawback was the size of the room and the bed, both far too small for a couple. Unlike the previous "hotel" that I stayed at in this area, this one was a real hotel - not a jumped-up bed and breakfast. :) Lovely building near to the London Underground and just around the corner from Hyde Park... Great for morning walks! Professional and courteous staff. :)

We stayed at Lancaster Gate Hotel for one night only, but we slept well and liked the room very much. The only con was that the Air Condition made a little bit of noise. The hotel lies off the main road and is quiet. The breakfast buffet was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful

It was great staying at Lancaster gate hotel, just a few steps from Baywater & Lancaster Gate underground station. Near the Hyde park and nice neighborhood. Nice room, mattress and pillows even though the toiet is little bit old, but stil working well. For anyone who wanna stay in this hotel, pls do NOT drive, take tube is the best option! So this hotel is great if you are older or on business, but if you are under the age of 40 you may want to look elsewhere. I stayed there with 2 of my friends and I am pretty sure we were some of the youngest people in the hotel.

My partner and I stayed here. Geat location, in a quite street yet a 2 min walk from the tube. Room was a decent size. Selected this hotel for it's central location near Hyde Park and close to 2 tube stations on central line. The Hotel is in a quiet area. Our room was small but otherwise clean and well equipped. Hotel looked very nice from the outside. Carpeting in the halls had been water damaged and needed replacing. Rooms themselves were quite nice. Breakfast room large and comfortable- breakfast buffet-typical and plentiful. Charge for wifi quite expensive. Many other hotels were closer to the Lancaster Gate Underground Station. Nice station but the Central […] Line is not that useful to me. Hyde Park was 1 street away and plenty of bus stops there. A great hotel, clean, friendly staff, a FAB breakfast with lots of choices. We had a great welcome and were very pleased with our room and the easiness of getting to the west end and enjoyed a long walk in Hyde Park.

We really appreciate our stay :) It was amazing and we loved the neighborhood. Tube station at 5 minutes walks :) Markets, restaurants :) We will be comming back :)

Great location, room was basic but nice and clean. Nobody at the hotel really did anything to make our stay anything special. Smiles were polite, but nothing more. I will stay at the hotel again

Excellent Hotel ;good sized rooms, very handy location for Tube,Hyde Park,Albert hall,Rooms lack a little in sound proofing .Flushing toilets can be heard from neighbouring rooms, otherwise good place to stay

Friendly staff, comfortable room, obliging in accommodating change in booking. Cotbed supplied for our baby at no extra charge.

Biggest problem was noise Must be situated over an under ground line , noise starts at 6am and finishes at 12pm little insulation against noise from other rooms and from above - thought some one else was using my toilet it was so loud!!! Doors SLAM shut when released especially noticeable at 5 am

Service was let down by not having a room for us on arrival as they had a tecnical problem, in other words they were over booked.That was very quickly resolved without any fuss but a bit disconcerting as we were informed that we had to go to another hotel and had visions of trawling around London in a taxi not knowing where we would be staying. My friend […] and I are able bodied but both agreed that anyone with a slight mobility problem coudln't have used the shower or bath as it was very awkward to get in and out of.That aside the staff were very pleasant.The rooms were clean and quiet. 더 보기

This hotel is in a nice quiet area near Kensington Gardens and close to Lancaster Gate tube making travel to all parts of London easy. The staff were all very nice. Receptionists were very helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Very happy wtih this hotel!! Would stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Lancaster Gate Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and we especially love the location. It's just steps away from Kensington Gardens and the Lancaster Gate and Queensway tube stops making travel to all parts of London very convenient. We'd stay here again.

Very clean room, great value for money, good location for the underground - would definitely stay again and recommend.

We found the Lancaster Gate Hotel to be everything we wanted: great location near tube stations, Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park; good sized room with wardrobe, desk, tv; enjoyed breakfast every day; staff were helpful and pleasant. We had a problem with the shower which was quickly fixed after which the water pressure was great. Could hear the water running […] quite loudly when those in rooms nearby showered or flushed the toilet however this is only a minor complaint. Check out Dim Sum Diner on Queensway - only opened a few weeks ago and was the best meal we had in London (so good we kept going back). The staff/management were really lovely, the food was awesome and was great value for money! 더 보기
