We checked in and our TV did not work. I called the main desk and was told to play with the yellow and red knobs on the front of the TV. I did nothing happened so I called back and told them I needed maintenance they said it would be a few minutes. After my bath my husband said they had still not come, so I called again. I was told they had a customer. […] I informed them I was a customer. They came up and wiggled the knob on the front and it started working. They said house keeping sprayed it with cleaner and this happened quite often. i informed him the curtains were hanging half way off of the wall and so was the smoke alarm. He said okay and left. To me these things should have been taken care of when the room was cleaned the day before. I guess some could say these are minor things but to me when you pay high for a room it could be a little more pleasant to look at. 더 보기

The hotel was nice and clean, but had an odor in the hallways. Great location that is convenient to the highway, to restaurants and to shopping. Overall, it was a good hotel for the price compared to many hotels in that area.

I will not stay here again! The smell of the halls was awful. It smelled like old smoke trying to be covered up by very large amounts of air freshner. The breakfast was subpar. The only positive aspect was price and location.

Definitely a good amount of mold on the wall near the A/C unit. There was also mysterious black marks on a pillow case and sheets as well as burn marks in the comforter. If you are visiting Hattiesburg, Hampton Inn is the only way to go.

Okay, but no frills. Manager was friendly, room could have been cleaner and we had a hole in the wall. Mgr said they were renovating, but I don't know why that would leave a hole in the wall. Not the best bang for the buck, but not the worst either. Easy access to interstate and highway and close to shopping.

This was a very good hotel, especially for the price. I stayed in the king-sized, non-smoking room and it was large and comfortable. Overall a very good hotel and affordable.

Wonderful experience. Hotel staff accommodated special room requests to keep our group together.

Close to I-59 and to great restaurants.

The hotel was in good shape, and despite it being on a game weekend, it was clean and quiet. We will stay there again.

I stayed here for a friend's wedding. The room was clean and quiet from other noise. The staff was very friendly (especially the front desk on Sunday morning and housekeeping every morning) I will def stay here again!

When we got to the hotel they only had one staff member to check in all of the guests so it took about 30 minutes to get our key and get to our room. I really wasn't impressed with that service at all but I know it wasn't the woman's fault. Once we get to the room it is very dreary and not all that clean looking. All my husband and I wanted to do was […] take a shower and OMG the curtain was DISGUSTING!!!!!! It was so nasty, moldy, stained and gross I didn't want to bump into either side. I called and asked for a new shower curtain and was told that she didn't think she would find anyone as of course she seemed to be the only person working. So I ended up taking a shower with the curtain wide open because I didn't want it to touch me. The beds feel like concrete blocks. The pillows feel like bean bag chairs and overall its just doesn't look that clean. Again, I realize this is a bargain hotel which is fine but at least it can be clean. I will never stay at this hotel again and I will also warn other travelers not to stay here either. It is a dump! 더 보기

Older run down hotel. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Air conditioner was very noisy. Very limited selection on the breakfast bar. Service was okay and room was quiet. I would not stay there again.

The hotel is well kept and well maintained. The coin-operated washer and dryer in the ground-floor vending area was a welcome plus.

I really enjoyed to stay at Day's Inn. The room was large and clean. The staff kept all supplies replenished and the enviornment confortable. It was in close proximity to the Convention Center and easily accessible to shopping and restaurants in the area. Thanks again, DJ

Very nice. Clean, quiet; close to Hwy 49. Close to Mall and plenty of resturants. Continental breakfast sufficient but not elaborate. Room was comfortable. Would stay again. Fine for travelers. Morning clerk good also. Looked up items on computer for us. Recommend it.

Clean, quiet, and reasonably priced hotel. Easy to find too! Great hotel for a quick, one night stop. Would not recommend for a vacation stay (no pool, if that's important to you). We stayed one night to break up travel time on our way to Gulf Shores. The Hotel was great and a very convenient location to University of Southern Miss. The only problem I had was that my receipt had check-out time at 12:00 p.m. but check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. The front desk clerk had to call and ask were we checking out because it was after 11:00. Not a 5 star but it is a very clean, standard hotel room that is within walking distance from a nice sports bar/restaurant. Definitely a great place to stay.

On our journey to from IL to AL we stayed at several hotels - for the price, cleanliess and friendliness of the staff this was overall our favorite. Quiet rooms with well lit parking. Lots of food choices in close proximity. Good enviroment in every aspect!

The blow dryer in the room was broken. The other guests were very noisey and were running from room to room. In the room on the other side someone was banging for 30 mins. Just was not overall satisfied at all.
