great hotel, great food, best experience in colombia

Rooms were average in terms of comfort. Some of the furniture seemed old and beat up. Hotel construction woke me up the first morning. The interesting part is the numerous plazas in between the buildings/annexes that were cool. The main plaza has a small chapel and fountain. It's like living within a castle's walls. Courteous staff, pleasant courtyard setting, good dining, comfortable bed, impeccable room/apt. Retail rates excessive when quoted directly by phone through their reservations dept., but reasonable when booking online. Stylish but inadequate lighting (not bright enough) in room and bath; continuous street noise heard night & day (not intolerable).

Great Hotel. Great Room Great Service Great Location

Excellent hotel, good food with an excellent service. The only minus and maybe this is personal, for I understood that the colombians like it that way, is a lesser firm matrass.

my husband and i stayed 2 nights,which both nights someone tried to come into our room,we wanted answers because who ever it was they had the key. i felt scared and unsafe. Vicky and Nelson.....

but were borderline gougers on anything else the dry bar in the rooms, charging triple the going rate and the hotel taxis charging half again what the street taxis charge. the surrounding stores and restraunts were the same 5 us dollars for draft beer 11 for a margarita is a beautiful place but stupidly expensive i will not revist this area again

Even though the location is not the best, the hotel condition, great service and amenities makes it worth while the short taxi drive to any place you need to go.

Nice building, very beautiful. Congested traffic situation. Smog. Service very good. Beds uncomfortable. Headboard and bed on wheels that slide , so u can't sleep well. Prices OK compared to US, but for Colombia, they're pricey.

Estelar is a great place to stay. Having an English speaking staff is a definite plus. Also, the staff was very helpful and made some calls when the car that was supposed to take me to the airport did not arrive on time (sending me into a tizzy). The staff came through and ensured that the situation was taken care of. The only down side is the hotel […] is about 30 minutes from la Candeleria. Hotel exceed expectations, in a very good area of Bogota. All the employees are very nice. Colombia is simply beautiful and its worth the trip.

Hotel service excellent. Bathroom needs updating. Room very comfortable but small.

1. Rooms need to provide coffee stations as other hotes usually provide, specially in Colombia, where the coffee is so internationally well known for its great taste. 2. Rooms need to provide internet access as well. Nowadays, It is a necessity, specially to first time visitors to the area.

Das Hotel liegt gegenüber der großen Mall, Unicentro. Dort gibt es alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir hatten 1 Nacht am Anfang, und 2 Nächte am Ende unserer Reise. Die 1. Nacht hatten wir ein Standartzimmer, obwohl wir ein Zimmer nach hinten zugesagt bekamen, lag es zur stark befahrenen Strasse. Unter dem Fenster unterhielten sich die ganze Nacht Taxifahrer […] lautstark. Zimmer sind recht klein. Nach unserer Beschwerde, bekamen wir wir für die letzten Nächte vor Abreise ein Upgrade. Gebucht war ein 1 Schlafzimmer Appartment, bekommen haben wir eins mit 2 Schlafzimmern. Es war riesig, aber frisch gestrichen, ohne Klimaanlage. Der Farbgestank war bestialisch. Ansonsten würde ich die Appartments empfehlen, war auch mit Frühstück, gehört zum selben Komplex, und ist preiswerter mit mehr Platz. 더 보기

La ducha del aparta hotel no sirve, mi esposa tuvo algunas quemaduras en el cuerpo, ya que la ducha no sirve para agua tibia, o era demasiada caliente o totalmente helada, no pudimos combina el agua caliente con la fria, fue una verdadera tortura. Otra insatisfaccion fue el desayuno en cafe colombia, fue de lo peor, no habia casi nada, no habia fruta […] y la atencion de los meseros pesima, tuvimos que ir a desayunar en un restaurante fuera de hotel, Hotel 4 estrellas con estos problemas no creo. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr ordentliche Zimmer, sehr guter Service, aber: sehr weit vom Flughafen mit vom Flu.ghafen festgelegten Fahrpreis einer Taxe ( 12 US Dollar ) 40 Minuten Fahrezeit

Hotel de 5 estrellas con un servicio y alojamiento acorde a su categoría.

Este hotel no tiene la menor idea de lo que significa servicio. Además tienen un grupo de cuartos viejos y mal tenidos. Muy malo por el precio que se paga.

El hotel estuvo muy incomodo. Las camas fueron muy duras y cortas para mi esposo que mide 6 pies. El servicio fue fatal. Nos tocaba llamar tres y cuatro veces para cual quier cosa. Room Service , nos toco llamar 4 veces. Para despertarnos llamamos a Oscar para que nos llamaran a las 5 y quince y puso 4 y quince. Horrible! Lo unico que fue bueno fue […] el desayuno. De resto no estuvimos bien. No lo vamos a recomendar por eso! 더 보기

mui buen hotel, aunque adentro se puede tener la sensaciòn de estar adentro de un labirinto. personal muy cordial y bien entrenado calidàd del restaurante de alto nivel. seguridàd muy alta aunque sin molestar. precio correspondiente al servicio otorgado.

Estuve un par de días en Bogotá, y quedé muy contento con la atención y la caliad del hotel. Tan sólo recomendaría mejorar los desayunos.

O Hotel é muito bom e apresenta uma ótima estrutura. O atendimento é excelente e recomendamos a todos. Os taxis do Hotel são mais caros do que os outros, embora sejam 100% seguros. A distância para a região central é significatica, mas pode-se utilizar do sistema de ônibus Transmilênio, que é muito eficiente na cidade de Bogotá.

Hotel di ottima qualità, stenze confortevoli e ben curate. Servizio buffet colazione ricco e abbondante. Vicinissimo al centro commerciale unicentro, quartiere tranquillo anche alla sera. Unico difetto dista circa 1 ora (mezzi pubblici) dalla zona turistica della candelaria / museo dell'oro.

das hotel liegt im sicheren norden von bogota. hier kann man auch abends unbesorgt auf die strasse gehen, für mich ein grosser vorteil. das personal spricht englisch und ist überaus hilfsbereit. dank der buchung auf hotels.com habe ich ein upgrade für eine junior suite bekommen. ein plus ist der grosse garten des hotels und der innenhof, sonst bekommt […] man in bogota wenig ruhe. in der nähe des hotels gibt es zahlreiche geschäfte und restaurants. 더 보기

Estive no Estrelar La Fontana no dia 11/07/2011, o hotel é ótimo, o atendimento muito bom (tanto em inglês como em espanhol) como só fiquei 1 noite e não sai do hotel então para mim a localização não influenciou.

Podría quizás extender el horario de atención para la cena, además debería dar un poco más de facilidad para acceder a un equipo para obtener hielo las 24 horas, no cuenta con ninguno, por el resto todo muy bien, lo recomiendo

Habitaciones super amplias, muy cómodas, todo en perfecto estado de limpieza. Desayuno muy bueno en ambiente elegante y con staff muy amable. Unpoquito ruidosas las habitaciones que dan a la calle, les hace falta más insonorización, aparte de eso el hotel es muy agradable y de buen confort.

Buen Hotel, exelente servicio en todos los sentidos
