Great place, staff very helpful. Large city so there are homeless people in that particular location due to the public park and St. Vincents shelter close by.

We had a great stay here! The hotel is conveniently close to a large outdoor mall with a 12 screen theatre and many restaurants. The room was very comfortable. We were late to breakfast one morning and the oatmeal was gone. When we asked for more one of the hotel staff made a bowl just for my wife and made sure she was happy with it. We would definitely come back to this great little hotel in the heart of the city. We liked everything about the hotel - and Jamal the front desk attendant was especially accommodating. We had a standard king suite but it had 2 40 inch tvs with High Defination pictures unlike most hotels with nice tvs but no HD pictures. Make sure you go to the very good sports themed restaurant just around the right corner from the entrance to hotel. This hotel does not have an indoor pool even though it shows one in hotel pictures but does have a […] jacuuzi. Only 1 block from the Gateway shopping plaza with a lot of great shops. 더 보기

4th time i've stayed, and i'll be sure and look to book it again. great location, awsome room.

I was impressed with the overall look of the hotel and the price I paid. The bed and the pull out sofa were comfortable and the kitchen came in handy especially when you have children. I highly recommend this hotel for the location and comfort.

Comfortable and clean rooms with large televisions in both rooms. Great hotel gym for a hotel, while hottub was alright. Extra bonus of free meals Mon-Thu evening in addition to breakfast every day, the food is standard buffet quality. It was a little scary going outside at night with Pioneer Park across the street. We didn't walk a block north to the Gateway for the same reason. Otherwise the stay at the hotel was great.

Nice Hotel. The only thing that could have made it top notch for the business traveller would be the Hilton mattress. The mattress here is better than the typical mattress found in hotels but not as good as the ones at luxury hotels. If it was, this would be a outstanding place to stay. Very nice hotel room with a kitchenette. Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice desk and the kitchenette was so nice to have, with a full size fridge! It was an easy walk to good restaurants, shopping, etc. I didn't realize I'd booked a smoking room, so it did have that residual smell, but it wasn't bad enough to request a move. Great location. Great rooms. Clean. Only problem was a request for a late checkout on a Sunday afternoon was denied by staff. The request was made Saturday afternoon and I advised I had a 330 flight and inquired if I could leave at 1 or 130 (60-90 min after regular checkout) and was denied. First time I have ever been denied a late checkout on a Sunday […] bc of a later flight. nice location near free transport to towncenter. Outdoor mall in walking distance

Our experience at Homewood Suites in Salt Lake City was great! The staff was very nice and the hotel in general was clean and comfortable. Parking in the underground parking garage is complimentary which is nice. But at night it's difficult to find parking, it looks like there's lots of free space but a good number of the spaces are reserved spaces. […] The complimentary breakfast was good the first day but not so great the second. This hotel is just a block away from the Gateway, which is an outdoor mall in Salt Lake. It has a movie theater, a bunch of nice restaurants and is home to the Clark Planetarium. So it's not hard to find something to do close to the hotel. Also, the hotel is only a few blocks away from a trax station which will get you all around Salt Lake. The pool is ok, out doors on the third floor. It's small, and was kind of dirty when we were there. But the patio where the pool is does have a nice view of the city. Overall this was a great hotel! And next time I need somewhere to stay in Salt Lake this will be my first choice! 더 보기

We spent 2 weekend nights at this hotel and were very happy with our room, the staff and location of this hotel. My husband had the staff prepare flowers and chocolates for our arrival and they did a great job without having to be reminded. I have stayed in many hotels but none with the class, and cleanliness of this one. The close to five star rating doesn't do this hotel justice. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Salt Lake, this hotel will not leave you wanting.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic rooms and we are very picky about cleanliness. Pool was down two days and we were forced to use Hilton pool downtown. Temp in the lobby and meal service area was very hot and stuffy every day of our stay. Unsure why they don't lower temp in there. Pioneer Park next door attracts more than a few vagrants from nearby homeless […] shelter. I woudl avoid, except on Saturday morning, when the park is turned into a great Farmers Market and the local "good folks" take it over, making it safe to traverse on foot. Otherwise, avoid this park at night! Otherwise, walked to and from downtown area on main thoroughfares with good feeling of safety. The SLC police have a bike patrol office about three doors down from hotel - nice. Also, easy walk north to the local spectrum center. Food was mediocre in both morning and evening compared to other Homewoods we've visited. But, for the rooms alone and the proximity to downdown, it's very good overall (not "excellent" but close if these other issues hadn't been factors). This was our first stay here and I gaurantee that it will not be our last! We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was lovely, clean and quiet. From the availability of video's, the GREAT customer service we recieved, to the delicious "Hot" breakfast...we would give our stay 5 stars!!! We were in town for a family weekend getaway. Booked this hotel for my in-laws to come and visit my husband and I. The location is great--very close to the freeway, with many many restaurants within walking distance. Also, our favorite coffee shop (The Rose Establishment) and art galleries on Pierpont are just a block away. Very close to Gateway Trax stop as well (within fareless square). And the kitcheonette made it very convenient for them to have in-room meals if they didn't want to go out. Stayed here for a wedding at SLC. My host had suggested another hotel at the same rate, but I looked on the web and settled for this. First observation, the front office did not look as boring as most hotels, rather, it had a soothing and calming effect on my weary bones. Guests have to sign an undertaking to disturb other occupants, which was very […] welcome. The complimentary breakfast was very good and rich and the staff was very attentive. To get to any where in the City, they have print outs ready showing directions and how to get there. They even have menus of different eateries. I approached a staff [Ben] to give direction to my friend who was coming over and the went out of his way, stayed on top till my guest arrived. When I went outside to see wait for the guest, ben came out a few minutes later to ensure that I was alright. This is not just a hotel or suite, this is a familyn oriented stay place. Did I say anything about the furnishing? It is was very good, with complete kitchen and cooking utensil, giant refrigerator, cooker, safe and comfortable furnishing. The only draw back is that there is a homeless shelter close by. However, they took care of that by ensuring that you would need your room key to gain access to lodging area. 더 보기

I chose this hotel at the last minute. But the hotel was not last minute. It was just perfect. The front desk staff was excellent. The food servers at the free breakfast responded to everyones needs. I had the opportunity to have my son come and visit us quickly as we had other plans that needed to be attended to. We met in the hotel lobby and the staff […] was so nice to my grandchildren. When my grandson said he was hungry I went to see what was in their little store. The manager on duty said it would be his treat for my grandson's treat. We liked the location (within walking distance of Gateway Mall), and the complimentary Thursday evening dinner + breakfasts on Friday thru Sunday were well above average quality. Suite with large refrigerator, and kitchen appliances was useful, bed was high quality, staff was efficient in responding to requests. Underground parking was convenient.

We didn't check the room at checkin. We enjoyed the "Very Comfortable" bed In the morning the shower was nice except that we were left only a cap from a shampoo bottle (no shampoo) we had to wonder if they had even cleaned the restroom. Also in the morning, the coffee pot in the room didn't work. The breakfast was ok, but I had to find the attendant […] taking a break in the kitchen to get a glass for juice. We stayed in a suite with a kitchen (it had everything except for an oven!!) which made traveling with two small children very easy. The room was marvelous, large, clean and very nice. I would recommend this hotel!!

Homewood Suites in Salt Lake City was great . Next time we are in SLC we will stay at the same hotel. Room was great and very clean. Close to all sites. Good breakfast.

My only real disappointment was the hot tub. According to the hotel is was open for use, but so much refuse was floating in it, the thought was unbearable. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

The room was extremely comfortable (although it could have been cleaner when we arrived). It was great for families with 2 beds and a sofa sleeper. The kitchenette and full breakfast buffet added to the value. We will stay there again.

Great comfy rooms. Awesome breakfasts. Great location for downtown activities and Temple Square.

Great hotel. Awesome breakfast. Good location (except for the park across the street). Fun rooftop pool. My only complaint about this hotel is that our room was located just off the elevator and we could hear everyone coming and going, it was quite loud.
