It's an AC Marriott - we haven't had a bad one, and this was no exception. There are two things I would note however. First, if your intent is to visit... the city, Madrid, this place is quite far from downtown. We like to use metro systems, and the closest stop to the hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk. Not only that, but you're in Zone 2, and need a separate ticket to ride the few stops to Zone 1, when you're in the Madrid Metro Zone 1 proper. Not only that, but you have to change trains at the junction of Zone 1 and Zone 2, something you may only find out by trial and error, as we did. Second, the continental buffet breakfast is 14 Euros! This is beyond expensive. I wish I had asked, but having been in several hotels over our 3 weeks in Spain, and not having any continental buffet cost over 5 Euros, this was a shock on checkout! The free mini-bar in the room was not offsetting. On our next visit to Madrid we will stay closer to town, perhaps in another AC Marriott. 작성일: 2012.06.02, 작성자: DougScottsdale의
