too short my stay in the hotel. can not comment much. one thing is that shuttle service to airport is chargeable which should be provided free

very nice clean hotel, freindly staff good area to move about.

The stay was very nice with the exception that my room was on the first floor which was above the bar area and bands were playing late in the evening. Upon request I was moved to a higher floor problem solved. Very central location, easy to get cabs very friendly helpful staff.

This was one of the cheaper hotels I could find. I don't spend much time in the room so I just wanted something decent, mainly a place to keep my stuff while I tour the city. I have found that most beds in Dubai hotels are very very firm and this was the same. The beds are almost hard. There seemed to be some kind of leakage in the ceiling, many of […] the ceiling tiles in the hallway were missing. And they had a garbage can in my room that was catching a drip. Other than that I would just call it mediocre. The bars served very weak drinks, the food was ok. Room service was fast and pretty decent. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again mainly because of the price but if you are looking for a "nice" hotel this probably isn't the one for you. I found this hotel at the last minute, very central location helpful staff for the price I would stay again on my next visit.

The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Service was adequate and friendly. Not a lot to do in the immediate neighborhood, but traditional markets and museums are a short taxi drive away. Hotel food and services very good, maintenence of items such as fridge etc very poor. five days out of seven no fridge!

Hotels.com booked me for a king bed, I got two twin beds instead.

While this is a nice hotel I would not say it is nice enough to have paid what I did for a night. There are other higher quality hotels in the area for this price.

Nice hotel. Have stayed here many times. Internet Fees, however, are outrageous. Cost is $75 AED per day. Recommend using business center for $15 AED per 30 min to access email accounts. Love the location. Al Rigga Street offers many western fast-food establishments. Located a few hundred meters from the subway/train.

This was the fifth visit to the Avenue (aka Hawthorn and Mahattan). The hotel is conveniently located near shops and restaurants and the new rapid transit stop. Great hotel with superior service. Plenty of shops, stores, and restaurants within blocks of the hotel. Makes for nice evening strolls except during the height of the summer months...TOO HOT!!!! Regardless, hotel dining is good enough and room service is great.

My wife had a reservation for this hotel. She lands at the Dubai airport and calls the hotel, so that she can get a confirmation fax from them. This being one of the requirements for getting a visa - they need to see a fax from the hotel, which says that you are a guest. She calls them a dozen times from the airport desk, no one picks up the call. Eventually […] she had to get another hotel. I filed a dispute with my credit card company, to refund the stay. Second visit to this hotel. Service was great. The only negative was that the clubs did not offer live entertainment because of Ramadan. Will stay again.

They wanted to keep my passport behind the desk while I was staying there. They staff was very demanding regarding this issue and I had a hard time for them to accept cash for the mini bar deposit. I would not advise this hotel to anybody.

I highly recommend this hotel. People were friendly, and room was clean. I will stay there again on my next trip.
