1st room we were given was pokey with a tiny window and spectacular view of a grey concrete wall felt clostrophobic asked for room change happy to oblige new room was excellent and staff were lovely

Hotel is in a good location. Check in staff very pleasant and quick. Room was nice but decor a little tired but had everything you need. Great views, would have prefered to stay on a higher floor but nothing available. The view from the gym was great, bit dissapointed sauna was out of order as this was one of the attractions to the hotel. Bit of a mix […] up with breakfast as my confirmation stated it was included in the price but hotel had no record, this was finally resolved with several phone calls and trips up and down to reception and was worth it as the breakfast room was really pleasant and the food was good with a great selection. Stayed here before so know it was a pretty nice hotel. Checked in and went to room only to find the carpet in the room with a load of dirty stains and looked in desperate need of changing. Did not feel comfortable walking around bare feet, or even in my socks for that matter. Won't be staying there again

the hotel met all the standards we expected. in a perfect location where everything is easy to access. we had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed the comfort of the room. definately worth the price!

The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is heading towards its 10th anniversary and the decor of the room we stayed in was beginning to look dated. The location is good for the theatre, bull ring and hurst street/china town. We weren't told about the car parking situation and later found out we were entitled to a discount on the local NCP. The hotel was really nice but unfortunately the jaccuzzi was out of order and as I was there to relax I was looking forward to it but didn't find out until I got there! The mains in the bed room were all unplugged under furniture that was difficult to spot and there was no hair dryer so i had to call for one whilst trying to get ready - these are things […] I would have expected the chamber maids to have checked and put right before I arrived. Shame really. Biggest blow was at breakfast when I found a hair in my Omlette - that was breakfast over with! I booked this hotel as a birthday treat for my partner. We very much enjoyed our stay. All the staff was so helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great. The quality of the room and bedding is very good that we went out the very next day and bought the same bedding goose down. We would love to come back again in the very near future. Thank you

there was a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom when you ran water in the sink , the view from our room was a brick wall and the beds were way too soft-not what is expected from a hotel chain such as the Radisson- avoid room 820

I visited this hotel to celebrate my friends birthday.Breakfast was appalling on a Sunday it is served until 12 myself my friend and then my brother who also stayed with his partner turned up at breakfast at 11. so there was plenty of time still left for breakfast. At first there were no plates, we had to wait 5 mins for plates to be stocked up,then […] we queued for hot breakfast and there was literally nothing left, a few beans and couple of tomatoes, so we waited and waited and waited, the queue was getting bigger and bigger, but with that said a lot of people could no longer be bothered to queue. We waited for 10 minutes and nothing, so I went over to the restaurant manager and asked what was taking them so long. She replied they ar stocking up and I said we have been waiting for 10 minutes now. So she went to find out what was going on. After this the so called chef popped out and replenished just the beans,and I asked how much longer everything else would be, she said not long, I explained we have been waiting for over 10 minutes, and she said that she was told everybody has been down for breakfast, I said we'll surely you have a list of who has and hasn't had breakfast, and she said yes and this is why they were told breakfast had finished. We waited a further 10 or so minutes for everything to be replenished. It was ridiculous, I have stayed at many hotels and I have never known anything like this. the hotel is nicely presented, the room is spacious and so is the bathroom. The breakfast was also really nice and served in a lovely dining area. However, all of this is spoiled by the ridiculous parking charge. You are directed to the next door NCP car park which costs £16 per night and you have a 5 min walk with your luggage. The hotel was well presented and in a good location for the centre of Birmingham. The only negative aspect is the parking, in local NCP in a back street around the corner ( not ideal for someone on their own!)

Great hotel with an amazing view. It was my partners birthday and the hotel upgraded us to business class with some complimentary raspberries and meringues which made it really special. The view was incredible and it was a great location.

Main attraction of this hotel is it's location and free wifi. Staff are good at customer service but the hotel itself looks a bit tired in places and food is average for the prices charged. Stayed at this hotel on a friday night arrived at the hotel around 8pm was very slow checking had to wait over 20 mins. Once checked in room was very cold and trying to get the air con to work was a mission but it blew out look warm air after a while. Terrible breakfast in the room - far too much food and not very nice (very cheap sausages, very salty bacon, coffee was barely warm). Usually stay at the Hyatt, tried the Radisson for a change - disappointed (the Hyatt is much nicer all round)

i was delighted as I arrived from the NCP car park at the back of the hotel that some of the staff there saw I was looking for the entrance, rather than having to trek all the way around to the front & they kindly brought me in "through the back entrance", which they explained. Prompt attention early evening by room service calling if we needed turn down service &/or a bottle of water. Superb attention in the lobby bar when we arrived back late & had some drinks there. Great service am at breakfast, which was also "top notch". I travel a lot around the world & stay in many different hotels. My brother recommended this to me & he was right. Really made our 1 night in Birmingham very special. Thank you to the manager & all the team - WELL DONE!
