I enjoyed it very much nice meal and breakfast delivered to my room on time.Easy booking in and out

Love every minute of it except having to check out, from the porters at the front taking car of our car, checking in being sssooo easy, drinks at the bar - staff giving off the cuff recommendations. The meal at the Grill - a must do! very enjoyable worth every cent, staff freindly and helpful . Room was comforable, roomy and quite - even a few floors […] above facing Albert Street. Clean rooms and location really good. The staff from the time you arrived even before check-in were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast venue was fantastic as was the sevice and beautiful food. Altogether we had a fantastic time there and would definetely go back there.

Just what I needed in Auckland. Great location and beautiful room. The view could have been a little better, but everything else was fine.

The Sky City Grand Hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Auckland City, with all city sights and public transport within easy walking distance. To hire a car and drive out of the city and across the Harbour Bridge from here was also amazingly simple for someone not familiar with Auckland streets. These factors influenced by decision to choose […] this hotel by location and I was happy that I'd made the right decision in this regard. The hotel itself, provided world class service and facilities and was great value for money. The buffet breakfast on Level 7 was excellent. My only complaint would be the speed of the WiFi broadband service which seemed to be a bit outdated in terms of performance - but I have since heard that this is a problem in NZ as a whole. 더 보기

The location is perfect in the centre of Auckland with easy walking distance to shops and a bit of a longer stroll to the harbor. The hotel is clean with friendly staff. Internet however should be free of charge these days.

The hotel itself was ok but it took 25 minutes to check in. I had to sit down and wait for ages while the woman at reception checked with her manager, if it was ok to give me my (as requested/booked through hotels.com) requested room type. This has happened to me before with this chain.

We recently stayed at the Skycity Grand in Auckland to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Great stay. The hotel was very clean and the service from staff was excellent. Good location and only a short walk to Queen Street and the Ferry terminal If I had to say a downside I would say the breakfast - Juices were sour, bacon was Very salty and no […] hash browns. When we asked for a hot chocolate we were told it would cost $5.00. Stick with the omelette which was cooked fresh and tasted great. 더 보기

So what more can you say - other than it is well worth booking the Sky Tower restaurant in advance - it gets quickly booked - food excellent and surprisingly very reasonably priced considering the venue - book for just before sunset

We booked a package deal which offered a free gift, but the nature of the gift was not clear. no mention was made of the free gift on arrival. When we checked out We inquired about the gift and were told it was a glass of bubbles on arrival, which clearly we had not received. In addition we found crumbs on the floor of the room, the toilet seat was […] loose and the shelf under the hand basin was falling down. This was to be a special weekend for my wife and I, it was our wedding anniversary and we were disappointed about the above. Visiting New Zealand was an incredible life experience. We we also very fortunate that the last leg of our travels landed in Auckland. It is a wonderful city, very vibrant, exciting and friendly. Making reservations with the Sky City Grand added to our enjoyment. We preferred the Grand over the Sky City Hotel because it had a more up-scale atmosphere. […] Our accomodations were spacious, well kept and most comfortable. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in central Auckland, walking distance to Sky Tower, Queen Street and plenty of good restaurants. First room we had smelled of drains so we got moved to another room within minutes. Friendly staff and very comfy bed!

We booked this hotel based on other reviews and were not disappointed. We were on a once in a lifetime anniversary trip to Australia and New Zealand and loved the ambiance of the hotel and the staff could not have been more attentive or quick to accomodate our request. We particularly enjoyed the lobby bar and the fact that we could walk to the shopping […] areas and the wharf. The comfy robes and meringue cookies were fantastic! We had 2 nights at this hotel with a room on the 20th floor and the most spectacular view of the harbour, bridge and the jumpers off the tower. Complimentary bottle of bubble and yummy cake. Perfect location. Would definately recommend a stay here. Thanks.

Sky City Grand in Auckland. Fantastic hotel, great location and service. Beautiful rooms and good fitness centre and Pool. Very much appreciated the welcoming Champagne and chocolates.

Exceptional. Valet parking is cheaper than self park in the casino attached. Bags were brought to the room. Complimentary brownies, chocolate and sparkling wine awaited us on arrival. Free wi-fi. Beautiful view. A fantastic night in Auckland. Highly recommended.

The Sky City Grand is a great hotel. It is in a convenient CBD location (and near buses) with many restaurants and a very professional and knowledgable staff.

Great stay and immaculate rooms and convenient to all in sundry bars and the Casino. Grand is the name and is what I was presented with upon entering the room. Apart from the KINGSIZE bed chocolates and champerz were an extra special touch. A definite recommendation for any and all travelllers

I do not have anything bad to say about the Skycity Grand.....check in was smooth and easy, the room was fantastic value for money, and it really was a very trouble free stay. The Location is right in the city, I just can't fault it. I would definitely stay here again, loved every minute of it!

hotel is 5 min walk from main shopping centre - Queens St. Great indoor spa,gym, sauna and pool. Attractive bar/lounge area with promotions most nights for drinks - ( and reasonable food prices.) Rooms are spacious with ample seating area/nice decor/bath and shower/bath robes etc/ large bed/mini bar fridge. Staff excellent ...receptionist?bell boys/concierge/cleaners. […] Very impressed...coffee shop over the road with free wifi on purchases( godsend in NZ as they havent wi fi in many places) 더 보기

This hotel stay was way better than I ever hoped for. We reserved 2 rooms, one for my wife and one for our 2 children. Upon check-in they arranged one room with a king bed and one with 2 twins that were adjacent and had connecting doors, which was perfect for our needs. The rooms were very modern, spacious, well appointed with extras like robes, slippers […] and a selection of teas. The workout room, sauna and lap pool were clean and pleasant. The hotel is located in the center of the city and well placed to walk to most of the popular sites. Best of all was the staff. They were all very helpful and friendly. Nick and Ian, two concierge who helped us, really knew Auckland and gave us great recommendations for activities and restaurants. We even went to another part of New Zealand for 2 days and they stored our luggage free of charge even though we were not checking back into the hotel when we returned to Auckland. I travel quite a bit in the US, Europe and Asia and this was one of the best experiences I've had, even compared to some of the best hotels in Las Vegas . I can't think of a reason not to stay here. 더 보기
