overall stay was excellent, although taking to a manager he did know or was aware that a football team played down the road. i found this rather strange i thought your senior team should know more about the surrounding area in which he works. Although this employee was a let down to your team all other members of your team were excellent

Didn't hesitate to book here as we've stayed several times over the past few years. Like it for its proximity to the WBA ground & it's only a couple of hours away from our daughter too. Having booked I then read the trip advisor comments and honestly considered cancelling. We arrived at 1.30pm, rooms available from 3pm. Although the lovely Gerry Anderson […] said we could have a double at 2pm if we wanted to change from our requested twin. Hubby left for the match & Gerry said I could either go to the bar which did snacks & drinks or sit in reception. As it was a match day the bar was busy & I said to Gerry I was gonna miss the Boat Race. She instantly changed channels on the TV behind her so that I could watch it there. So 10 out of 10 for Gerry. Our room 218 on the ground floor was fine. Clean & warm with tea, coffee, sugar & sweetener. Beds comfy. Pluses & minuses - As others had commented the corridor carpets look stained & nasty. Only 1 pillow per bed & when we requested more at around 6pm there were no more available. Cleaners, dust behind the TV as well as round the front! The evening meal was not very good - served on luke-warm plates and my husbands glass of Merlot was served cold! Next morning the kettle refused to work but on reporting this another was delivered to the room immediately. Breakfast was excellent, a bowl of porridge made on request. I would stay again but would choose to eat my evening meal elsewhere. 더 보기

disappointed with the hotels description as it states that the room was supposed to have queen size bed and a jetted tub but got a room with a double and only a shower, after complaining got a better room but still not tub and was told that the hotel only has a hand full rooms with a tub, and they expected me to pay an upgrade fee, i expected but for […] a radisson group , will not be staying here or recommending it to anyone 더 보기

Hotel was ok, nothing great got moved from original room twice as it was not what I ordered. this is due to the hotels.com site putting through incorrect information to the hotel. Beware.

I thought this hotel was like a scruffy teenager...on the outside it looks a little dodgy wearing your dads old cast offs and could do with a good clean, but on the inside the rooms are very trendy and young!! The hotel looks like a 1980s Moat House hotel with long winding coridors and bedrooms down flights on stairs which was a first for me...sleeping […] in what felt like basement with windows....once you cross the threshold in to the bedrooms though they are really nice modern and most important clean. Even though the corridors could do with a new carpet and brightening up a little to reflect the standard of the rooms...at the end of the day you dont sleep in the corridor so they arent top priority. Nice rooms, very clean, bed comfortable. Would have liked more pillows - one each wasn't enough! No hairdryer in room which was a pain. No ironing board or iron but rang down to reception who sent one up straight away. Tea, coffee and one small snack size pack of biscuits provided for the two of us. TV fuzzy and losing reception if you stood in certain […] places in the room! Excellent air-conditioning though! Bar expensive so watch out. A double amaretto and coke was over £6 and a bottle of magners cider almost £5. Breakfast good selection and staff helpful. Only complaint is that the food was mildly warm and not hot as you would expect. Area wasn't very nice. Run down with no local amenties but if you plan on staying in the hotel you'll be fine! Have to say I was really disappointed with the room service. After an expensive hour in the bar we headed to our room and ordered from the menu in the room. The menu was apparently out of date and the item we wanted they said they no longer served. Chose something else and had trouble with the member of staff on the phone whose english was not very good. After ordering we had a call almost immediately from the kitchen, checking they had our order correct. It came fairly quickly but when it arrived there was no ice with the cider which we had specifically requested. 2 minutes into the meal we had a call AGAIN asking us to come down and pay for the food!! Why call it room service if you have to come all the way back down to the bar to pay for it?! Turns out they should've taken our card details when we checked in so they could charge things like room service to our account but they had failed to do this upon check-in.... so their fault not ours! Not impressed as by the time my partner got back up to the room after queuing downstairs at the bar to pay the room service bill, the food was getting quite cold! My family stayed here some of us just one night others two, But we all loved it. Friendly staff. Great food. Fantastic air con...quiet and it REALLY worked which is unusual for a hotel. The hottest weekend of the year and the air con was a god send. Hotel was immaculately clean.
